Claims (14)

  1. Frame construction for windows and/or doors having a frame, especially a main frame (3) and/or a wing frame (2),
    an attachment profile (4, 5) which is mountable on the outside of the frame by means of a connecting device connecting it thereto,
    the attachment profile (4, 5) being connectable to an insert (6),
    the insert (6) mounted on the attachment profile (4, 5) forming an abutment face (10) at the frame and
    an adhesive layer (7) being provided between the attachment profile (4, 5) and the frame,
    characterised in that
    the insert (6) is connectable to the attachment profile (4, 5) from the front side of the receiving channel (12) by means of a clip connection to form an assembly unit.
  2. Frame construction according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the attachment profile (4, 5) and the insert (6) form an assembly unit in the form of a peripheral frame.
  3. Frame construction according to claim 1,
    characterised in that the attachment profile (4, 5), the insert (6) and the adhesive layer (7) form an assembly unit.
