- Rain protection rail (1) for windows or doors comprising a profile part (2) and means for fixing the rain protection rail (1) on the case frame (4) of the window or the door, wherein the profile part (2) is designed in such a way that it is situated in the overlap region of the window or the door in the mounted state and does not extend into the rebate region (6), wherein(a) individual holders (5) are provided as fixing means, which holders bear with mutual spacing against the profile part (2) on the one hand and against the case frame (4) on the other hand, and the individual holders (5) and the profile part are designed in such a way that, in the mounted state, the entire profile part (2) is spaced apart from the case frame (4),(b) a gap (8) is provided between the profile part (2) and case frame (4), which gap is bridged by a seal (7), and(c) the seal (7) serves for channelling water occurring in the rebate region (6) to the outer side of the profile part (2),characterized in that
the seal (7) is fixed on the profile part, and in that the profile part (2) has a channel (18) which serves for accommodating a first extension (15) of the seal (7), and the seal (7) has a second extension (19) which, in the installed state, bears against the case frame (4), specifically against the substantially vertically extending part thereof in such a way that it bears slightly below the start of the rebate region (6) in the region of the case frame (4). - Rain protection rail according to Claim 1,
