Claims (17)
- Verfahren zum Behandeln einer Bahn (11), insbesondere einer Papier- oder Kartonbahn, bei dem die Bahn (11) durch einen Breitnip (4) geleitet wird, der zwischen einer Schuhwalze (2) mit einem umlaufenden Mantel (5) und einer beheizten Gegenwalze (3) gebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den Mantel (5) auf einen Schaden hin überwacht, bei Auftreten eines Schadens den Breitnip (4) öffnet sowie die Bahn (11) weiter zuführt und als Schutzeinrichtung verwendet.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man zur Erfassung eines Schadens des Mantels (5) einen Druck in einem vom Mantel (5) umgebenden Hohlraum (8) überwacht.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Druckänderung im Hohlraum (8) überwacht.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Schuhwalze (2) optisch überwacht.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man bei Auftreten eines Schadens die Bahn (11) hinter dem Breitnip (4) abschlägt und um eine der beiden Walzen (2, 3) herumwickelt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Bahn (11) vor dem Breitnip (4) abschlägt, wenn sie sich mit einer vorbestimmten Dicke um die Walze (2, 3) gewickelt hat.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Bahn (11) mit einer Dicke um die Walze (2, 3) wickelt, die maximal 90 % des Abstands der Walzen (2, 3) im geöffneten Zustand des Breitnips (4) entspricht.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Bahn (11) mit einer Dicke von mindestens 1 mm um die Walze (2, 3) wickelt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man einen Sensor (19) verwendet, der die Dicke der um die Walze (2, 3) gewickelten Bahn (11) ermittelt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man einen Zeitpunkt für das Abschlagen der Bahn (11) vor dem Breitnip (4) unter Berücksichtigung des Umfangs der Walze (2, 3), des Geschwindigkeitsverlaufs der Walze und dem Abstand der Abschlageinrichtung (10) vor dem Breitnip (4) errechnet.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Berechnung nach dem Auftreten des Schadens vornimmt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Aggregate, die an der einzuwickelnden Walze (2, 3) anliegen oder ihr direkt benachbart sind, bei Auftreten des Schadens von der Walze abhebt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Bahn durch den geöffneten Breitnip (4) zu einer Position (21) hinter dem Breitnip (4) führt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Bahn (11) markiert.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man bei Auftreten eines Schadens einen Bahnbeschnitt vor dem Breitnip (4) deaktiviert.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Bahn (11) quer zu ihrer Laufrichtung versetzt, wenn der Schaden des Mantels (5) außerhalb der Bahnbreite auftritt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die axiale Position des Schadens ermittelt.
