Abstract

Bei bisherigen Bandkalandern (1) kann es zu einer Gefährdung des Kalanders sowie des Bedienpersonals durch herumfliegende Teile des Kalanderbands (8) nach einem Kalanderbandriss kommen.
Um diese Gefährdung zu verringern, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Eigenschaften des Kalanderbands (8) im laufenden Betrieb der Bandkalandervorrichtung überprüft (14, 15, 16, 17, 20) werden.
