Claims (10)

  1. Dispositif abrasif conçu pour l'abrasion d'articles sensiblement plans, ledit dispositif comprenant
    des moyens (2) de transport des articles sensiblement plans dans une direction d'avance (A)
    des moyens de suspension (10) conçus pour suspendre une pluralité de disques abrasifs (5, 5') comprenant des moyens abrasifs pour l'abrasion d'un côté des articles sensiblement plans,
    des moyens (18) conçus pour entraîner en rotation les disques abrasifs autour d'axes qui sont sensiblement perpendiculaires au côté des articles sensiblement plans, et
    des moyens (22, 23) conçus pour entraîner les disques abrasifs (5, 5') dans un mouvement alternatif de va-et-vient transversal à la direction d'avance (A) des articles sensiblement plans,
    caractérisé en ce que
    la pluralité de disques abrasifs (5, 5') est munie de moyens abrasifs qui comprennent des lamelles abrasives d'une feuille abrasive, telle qu'une toile abrasive, dont la surface frontale a des propriétés abrasives et qui s'étendent vers l'extérieur à partir de la face des disques abrasifs (5, 5'), les moyens abrasifs comprenant en outre un élément formant support élastique, de préférence des brosses de support qui supportent la face arrière des lamelles abrasives, ledit élément de support ayant sensiblement quasiment la même longueur que les lamelles, et en ce que le dispositif comprend en outre au moins un cylindre abrasif (7,7') qui est agencé de sorte à abraser un côté de l'article et qui comprend des moyens abrasifs s'étendant sensiblement radialement à partir d'une âme allongée, ledit cylindre abrasif(7, 7') s'étendant transversalement par rapport à la direction d'avance (A) et étant entraîné en rotation autour de son axe longitudinal.
  2. Dispositif abrasif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la pluralité de disques abrasifs (5, 5') présente des rainures en contre-dépouille pour recevoir et fixer des rails profilés qui font partie d'éléments abrasifs allongés comprenant des moyens abrasifs, lesdites rainures s'étendant de préférence dans une direction sensiblement radiale sur la face du disque abrasif.
  3. Dispositif abrasif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 2, dans lequel les disques abrasifs (5, 5') sont disposés en alignement transversal par rapport à la direction d'avance des articles sensiblement plans.
  4. Dispositif abrasif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel le mouvement alternatif des disques abrasifs (5, 5') a une longueur de course allant de 40 à 100%, de préférence de 60 à 85% du diamètre des disques.
  5. Dispositif abrasif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel les disques abrasifs (5, 5') sont disposés en alignement en deux rangées successives, transversalement à la direction d'avance des articles sensiblement plans, les disques (5) d'une rangée étant décalés par rapport aux disques (5') de l'autre rangée.
  6. Dispositif abrasif selon la revendication 5, dans lequel le mouvement alternatif des disques abrasifs (5, 5') a une longueur de course allant de 20 à 50%, de préférence de 30 à 43%, du diamètre des disques.
  7. Dispositif abrasif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel les moyens abrasifs sont disposés dans des éléments abrasifs allongés s'étendant principalement dans une direction radiale sur les faces des disques abrasifs.
  8. Dispositif abrasif selon la revendication 7, dans lequel des éléments de support sont disposés entre les éléments abrasifs.
  9. Dispositif abrasif selon la revendication 8, dans lequel chacun des éléments de support comprend une brosse de support qui présente une longueur inférieure à celle des éléments abrasifs et qui est montée dans un rail profilé disposé dans une rainure en contre-dépouille similaire.
  10. Dispositif abrasif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel l'au moins un cylindre abrasif (7,7') est disposé après les disques abrasifs (5, 5') dans la direction d'avance (A) des articles sensiblement plans.
