Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mobile device for strapping and / or bundling of pallets and articles, with a strapping of a packaging tape around the pallets / objects is feasible and with a closure device for subsequent clamping and closing of the packaging tape.
  • Parcels or articles are generally fastened to pallets with a packaging tape in order to ensure safe and damage-free transport of these packages or articles.
  • a closure device for example an electric hand-held device.
  • the power supply for the closure device can be done both via the landline and via a battery.
  • the closure device can be designed, for example, as a rechargeable battery welding device.
  • the closure device is brought by the operator by hand to the band to be closed. It is disadvantageous that the closure device has a relatively high weight of usually 2.5 to 6 kilograms. To make matters worse, that the closure device must be held with one hand, as is to thread the packaging tape with the other hand. This leads to a correspondingly high physical burden on the operator.
  • the packaging tape is tensioned by the closure device, which is usually also designed as a tensioning device. Subsequently, the welding of the superimposed parts of the packaging tape, and the cutting of the superfluous packaging tape. The cut end of the packaging tape can be rolled up again on the strapping and now represents the beginning of the packaging tape for strapping another pallet or another object.
  • the strapping device can be formed in a simple embodiment only as a tape dispenser or as a holder for a packaging tape roll.
  • the handling of the closure device is particularly disadvantageous for the operator if the pallet to be closed or the object to be closed exceeds the breast height of the operator, since in this case the closure device can no longer be placed on top of the packaged item as usual. As soon as the pallet to be closed or the object to be closed exceeds the breast height of the operator, the operator must tension, close and cut off the packaging band in the vertical. Due to the physical condition, this activity can not be performed by all persons.
  • the otherwise very sophisticated method for packaging of pallets and objects by means of a portable device, in particular according to DE 199 16 193 C2 thus can not be used partially.
  • closure device Another disadvantage of the closure device is that, as has been shown in practice, these often fall down, creating a significant risk of injury and the devices are also often damaged.
  • balancers From the US 3,899,963 are brackets known as balancers, which are attached to the ceiling and where the closing devices can be hung by means of a spring cable.
  • the spring cable compensates the weight of the attached closure device, so that it can be used more easily.
  • the balancers comprise a rope wound on a coil supported by a coil spring.
  • balancers are fixed to a gallows or the ceiling.
  • a mobile use of transportable devices for strapping and / or bundling of pallets or objects is thus not possible.
  • the locking devices hang to ensure easy access, usually at head height of the operator, which is a significant risk of injury.
  • the present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a mobile device for strapping and / or bundling of pallets and objects, which solves the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art, in particular allows a simple, energy-saving and stress-free use of a closure device.
  • the strapping device is provided with a guide device on which the closure device is arranged, wherein the guide device supports at least part of the weight of the closure device and wherein the closure device is arranged movably on the guide device by means of a joint element.
  • the fact that the strapping device is combined with a guide device which guides and supports the closure device makes a power-saving and simple use of the closure device possible.
  • the mobility of the strapping is by not limited to the connection with the closure device, so that the mobile device can be used for strapping and / or bundling of pallets or objects without restriction by stationary elements.
  • the closure device is arranged movably on the linear guide by means of a joint element.
  • the strapping device can be designed as a simple tape dispenser, while the strapping device can be designed in a particularly advantageous embodiment according to FIG DE 199 16 193 C2 is trained.
  • the strapping device can also be semiautomatic or fully automatic, without the operator having to perform a manual operation for operating the strapping device.
  • the closure device can be advantageously designed as a combination device which takes over both a tensioning of the band and its welding and cutting.
  • the clamping of the packaging tape or the cutting off is carried out by other devices.
  • Particularly advantageous is the use of an electrical handheld device which is operated by a battery.
  • This can be designed, for example, as a rechargeable battery welding device which additionally takes over the clamping and cutting off of the packaging tape. This results in a particularly advantageous, independent and mobile use of the entire device.
  • the guide device has a linear guide, at one end of which the closure device is arranged.
  • the linear guide is extendable parallel and at a small distance to the unwound from the strapping packaging tape. This ensures that the closure device for closing the packaging tape can be moved directly after or exactly to the position of the packaging tape after the linear guide has been pulled out.
  • the movable arrangement of the closure device by means of the joint element thereby simplifies, as the inventor has found out, the threading of the packaging strip into the closure device. After threading the packaging tape, the closure device braces the packaging tape and thus pulls itself against the pallet.
  • the linear guide, at the end of the closure device is arranged, brought closer to the pallet or the object. Again, it is advantageous if the linear guide runs parallel and closely adjacent to the unrolled packaging tape or to the packaging roll. Tension or tilting of the linear guide is thus avoided.
  • a damping element is arranged for the defined orientation of the closure device between the linear guide and the joint element.
  • the damping element for receiving the weight of the closure device is designed as a gas pressure cylinder.
  • the damping element may also be formed as a spring or the like.
  • FIGS. 1 to 4 show a mobile device for strapping and / or bundling of pallets and objects, with a strapping device 1, which is provided with a guide device 2, on which a closure device 3 is arranged.
  • a strapping device 1 By means of the strapping device 1, a non-illustrated packaging tape can be guided around a pallet, also not shown. Subsequently, the packaging tape is stretched by the closure device 3, closed and cut.
  • Strapping devices 1 are well known from the prior art in various designs. These embodiments include both simple straps for the packaging tape rolls and machines with a mature technology, as for example from the DE 199 16 193 C2 are known.
  • the solution according to the invention is suitable in particular Advantageous for the out of the DE 199 16 193 C2 known strapping device, whose function description is hereby explicitly incorporated by reference.
  • Locking devices 3 are also well known in various technical versions of the general state of the art.
  • the closure devices 3 can be operated both via a fixed network connection and via batteries.
  • electrical hand tools are used, both tension the packaging tape and are responsible for closing and cutting the packaging tape.
  • Such handsets are based on the embodiment.
  • the sealing of the packaging tape is carried out by welding.
  • the packaging tape is advantageously formed as a plastic packaging tape, for example, polyester or polypropylene.
  • the strapping device 1 and the closure device 3 are shown only schematically in the figures.
  • FIG. 1 how out FIG. 1 it can be seen, the guide device 2 on a linear guide 4, which is supported on a guide member 5 and is supported by this.
  • the closure device 3 is arranged at one end of the linear guide 4.
  • the linear guide 4 receives the weight of the closure device 3, and is based on the guide element 5, which is connected via a bracket 6 with the strapping device 1 and a housing of the strapping device 1. The weight of the closure device 3 is thus compensated and no longer burden the operator.
  • the closure device 3 is arranged movably on the linear guide 4 by means of a joint element 7.
  • the hinge element 7 By the hinge element 7, the closure device 3 can be aligned exactly to the packaging tape or packaged goods to be closed.
  • the pivotability of the closure device 3 allows a simple threading of the packaging tape.
  • the hinge element 7 is pivotable about a horizontal axis 8a and a vertical axis 8b.
  • the closure device 3 only within a predetermined angular range of max. 45 ° about the vertical axis 8b of the joint element 7 is pivotable.
  • the hinge element 7 has a stop 9 for this purpose.
  • the stop 9 makes it possible that the packaging tape is threaded through a slight pivoting movement of the closure device after clamping. It can be provided that from the pivoting of the closure device. 3 maximum lateral movement of about 3 cm results. In experiments it has been found that this is sufficient to thread out the tape in a simple manner after completion of the clamping and closing operation of a receiving slot of the closure device 3.
  • a damping element 10 is arranged.
  • the damping element 10 can be arranged or aligned such that the closure element 3 has a vertically extending contact surface 3a for abutment against a side wall of a pallet or an object.
  • the damping element is formed in the illustrated embodiment as a gas cylinder 10.
  • the gas pressure cylinder 10 can be adjusted in an advantageous manner such that the closure device 3 without much effort can be pivoted about the horizontal axis 8a.
  • the closure element 3 is due to the vertically extending contact surface 3a and thus also due to the vertically extending receiving opening for the packaging tape in a particularly advantageous manner for connecting the packaging tape in the vertical. If the package to be closed or the pallet to be closed does not exceed the breast height of the user, the closure device 3 can alternatively also be placed on top of the packaged product.
  • the arrangement of the gas pressure cylinder 10 can be changed to the joint element 7.
  • the joint element 7 has two mutually offset by 90 ° holes 11, which can serve for the arrangement of the gas cylinder 10.
  • An L-shaped configuration of the joint element 7 has been found to be particularly suitable for this purpose.
  • the change in the orientation of the closure device 3, which results when the gas cylinder 10 at the second bore 11 and not as in Fig. 1 is shown arranged on the first bore 11 is easy to imagine and therefore not illustrated in detail. Due to the arrangement of the gas pressure cylinder 10 on the second bore 11, the closure device 3 can be placed by means of the contact surface 3a in a simple manner on top of a package or an object.
  • the closure device 3 by means of a releasable connection, which is formed in the embodiment as a plug connection 12, connected to the joint element 7.
  • the connector 12 makes it possible in a simple manner that a standardized closure device 3 with the guide device 2 and thus can be connected to the strapping device 1.
  • the guide element 5 has four rollers 13 for supporting or supporting the linear guide 4.
  • the linear guide 4 is formed rail-shaped.
  • the rollers 13 By the rollers 13, the linear guide 4 in a simple manner in the direction of the pallet or the items off and retracted again.
  • the combination of the rollers 13 with a rail-shaped linear guide 4 has been found to be particularly suitable for this purpose. It is advantageous if the guide element 5 is arranged inclined with the rollers 13 so that an independent process of the linear guide 4 in the direction of the pallet or the objects is excluded. For this, an inclination of just a few degrees to the horizontal is sufficient.
  • the guide element 5 is as in Fig. 1 shown rotatably mounted.
  • the guide element 5 is rotatably mounted about a horizontal axis 14, so that the Angle under which the linear guide 4 is extendable can be varied.
  • the closure device 3 can thereby be moved vertically in a simple manner, so that the welding of the packaging tape can be carried out at different heights. This also applies analogously to be able to place the closure element 3 on pallets with different heights.
  • a damping element 15 is provided.
  • the damping element 15 is arranged between the bracket 6 and the guide member 5.
  • the damping element is designed as a gas pressure cylinder 15.
  • the gas pressure cylinder 15 is set such that the linear guide 4 rises slightly in an initial position in the direction of the closure device 3 (see Fig. 1 ).
  • the gas cylinder 15 compensates all occurring weight forces, so that only a small amount of force necessary is to move the shutter 3 (guided by the linear guide 4) in the desired direction.
  • the weight of the closure device 3 is compensated by the gas pressure spring 15. This also applies to the additional weights resulting from the guide device 2, such as the weight of the joint element 7.
  • the gas pressure cylinder 10 is used in addition to the compensation of the weight of the closure device 3 for alignment of the closure device 3.
  • the gas pressure cylinder 10 is therefore essentially for the tilting movement responsible and the gas pressure cylinder 15 for the linear guide or for the compensation of the weight (resulting in the embodiment of the closure device 3 or the conveyor 2). It is advantageous if the gas pressure cylinder 15 is set such that the closure device 3 can clamp the packaging tape without relevant counterpressure. This is facilitated by the fact that the gas pressure cylinder 15 in the extended state of the linear guide 4 already has to absorb an increased weight.
  • a particularly preferred mounting of the guide device 2 to the strapping device 1 results when the strapping device 1 is provided laterally or on the operating side with a box for tools or equipment. At this, the guide device 2 and the console 6 are mounted in a simple manner without the role of unwinding the packaging tape is hindered in their movement.
  • Fig. 3 shows one too Fig. 1 Alternative embodiment of the guide device 2.
  • the guide device 2 has no linear guide 4 in the true sense, but is provided with a hinge device 16.
  • a gas pressure cylinder 10 essentially serves to align the closure device 3 (even if weight forces are absorbed in this case) and a gas pressure cylinder 15 to ensure the extension and retraction movement or to absorb the weight force from the closure device 3 and from the joint device 16 results.
  • the arrangement of the hinge device 16 substantially corresponds to a known excavator.
  • Fig. 4 shows one too Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 Alternative embodiment in which the guide device 2 has two linear guides 4a, 4b.
  • the linear guide 4 a can be extended or retracted essentially in the horizontal direction.
  • a further, substantially vertically movable linear guide 4b is arranged between the end of the linear guide 4a and the closure device 3.
  • the weight of the closure device 3 is received by a gas pressure cylinder 15 which is arranged parallel to the vertical linear guide 4b.
  • the gas pressure cylinder 15 can be arranged between the horizontal linear guide 4 a and a projection of the vertical linear guide 4 b or a joint element 7.
  • Beneficial to the in Fig. 4 illustrated embodiment is that the Gas pressure cylinder 10 always receives the same force, regardless of how far the horizontal linear guide 4a is pulled out.
  • the vertically extending linear guide 4b can interfere with the handling of the device, since the linear guide 4b rises vertically between the strapping device 1 and the pallet to be strapped.
  • Fig. 4 further shows an additional equipment feature for the strapping 1, which is useful for the use of the guide device 2.
  • a spacer 17 or a distance meter is provided with which the distance between the strapping device 1 and the pallet to be strapped can be determined precisely.
  • the spacer 17 is only in Fig. 4 Of course, however, can also be transferred to the other embodiments. In trials has become a distance between the strapping 1 and the range to be strapped from 20 to 50 cm, preferably 30 to 40 cm, found to be particularly suitable.
  • the spacer 17 may be formed, for example in the form of a tension spring, a plastic or rubber rod or the like.
  • the spacer 17 can also be designed in the form of a laser or a laser pointer, which generates or represents a point or a line at a defined distance on the floor in front of the strapping device.
  • the solution according to the invention is particularly suitable for mobile strapping devices 1, but of course it can also be used in stationary strapping devices or in mobile strapping devices 1 which are fixed or arranged stationary or permanently stationary.
