La présente invention concerne une matière de doublure ignifuge destinée à des vêtements de protection, comprenant une étoffe nappée renforcée par traitement thermique par jets de liquide haute pression, qui a une masse au mètre carré de 40 à 200 g/m<2>, l'étoffe nappée comprenant 20 à 50 % en poids de laine de mouton et 50 à 80 % en poids d'au moins une fibre synthétique ignifugeante.
