Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung einer korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung für Trinkwasserformteile, insbesondere zur Herstellung der Kupplungsteile, Winkelteile, Winkelbogenteile, T-Stückteile und Verteilerteile.
- Zur Herstellung der Trinkwasserformteile werden bevorzugt Kupfer-Zink-Legierungen mit Kupfergehalten zwischen 57 und 63% und Zinkgehalten zwischen 36 und 40% eingesetzt, die in allen Hausanschlusssystemen verwendet werden, wenn die Legierungsbestandteile und deren Begleitelemente die Maximalwerte der DIN 50930-6 nicht überschreiten. Für die Weiter- und Endbearbeitung dieser Werkstoffe sind ihre Zerspanungseigenschaften von Bedeutung. Durch das Zulegieren des Elements Blei in Gewichtsprozenten von 3 bis maximal 4% wird eine gute Zerspanbarkeit erreicht, da Blei praktisch keine Mischbarkeit mit den Legierungsbestandteilen Kupfer und Zink aufweist und als Spanbrecher wirkt.
Zum Schutz des Trinkwassers sind die Werkstoffe der Trinkwasserformteile für Trinkwasseranwendungen in den Normen und Regelwerken der DIN 50930-1 bis 50930-6 und in DIN EN 806-2 ausführlich beschrieben und ergänzend in der Trinkwasserverordnung (TrinkwV) in der Fassung der Bekanntmachung vom November 2000 benannt. Für die Einhaltung und Unterschreitung der Grenzwerte der Werkstoffbestandteile für Trinkwasserformteile gelten die in der Trinkwasserverordnung festgelegten Parameterwerte und hinsichtlich der Werkstoffauswahl, die DIN 50930-6, Seite 7 und 8. - Es ist bekannt, dass Trinkwasserformteile aus Kupfer oder einer Legierung auf Kupferbasis bei bestimmten Wasserqualitäten und langen Wasserstandzeiten den Nachteil aufweisen, dass Kupferionen aus Trinkwasserformteilen in fließendes oder stehendes Trinkwasser abgegeben werden.
- Die Absenkung des derzeit noch gültigen Richtwertes von 3 mg Cu/l in der deutschen Trinkwasserverordnung auf 2 mg Cu/l ist in der novellierten Fassung vorgeschrieben, deren Basis die EU-Richtlinie 98/83/ EG des Rates vom 3.11.1998 mit dem Titel: "Über die Qualität von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch" ist und veröffentlicht wurde im Amtsblatt der Europäischen Gemeinschaft, L330/32 DE vom 5.12.1998, Anhang I, Teil B.
- Bisher für Hausanschlussinstallationen verwendete Trinkwasserformteile erfüllen die vorstehenden Anforderungen. Die in der Praxis auftretende Variabilität der Qualität des Trinkwassers erfordern aber eine beständige Verbesserung des Sicherheitsabstandes hinsichtlich des Eintrags von festen und gelösten Korrosionsprodukten durch Trinkwasserformteile.
- Aus dem Stand der Technik DE 31 14 187 A1 sind Kupferlegierungen aus 0,01% Mangan, 0,01 % Selen und Kupfer als Rest bekannt und aus DE 44 01 997 A1 Manganwerte zwischen 0,01 und 18% der Gesamtlegierung, die jedoch den Nachteil besitzen, dass sich das als Spinellbildner wirkende Mangan im Trinkwasser nachweisen lässt und dessen gesundheitliche Langzeitwirkung auf den Menschen nicht ausreichend untersucht ist.
- EP-A 0 572 959 offenbart eine Kupfer-Zink-Legierung zur Herstellung von zuteilen für Trinkwasser - oder Sanitärinstallationen, insbesondere lasserarmaturen, die (in Gew.%) folgende Zusammensetzung aufweist: Cu: 62.5-64%; Pb: 0.5-1.5%; Mn: 0.3-0.4%; Si: 0.5-0.7%; Al: 0.3-0.7%; Sb: 0.05-0.15%; B: 0.0005-0.002%; Fe: 0-0.25%; Ni: 0-0.5% und als Rest Zn.
- Andere Legierungsbestandteile, wie sie in DE 44 38 485 C2 und EP 0 506 995 A1 beschrieben sind, bestehen aus thermisch stabilen Dispersoiden aus Cr2Ta, Dy2O3, Er2O3, ZrC, WSi2, Yb2O3, Sm2O3 im Gesamtgehalt von 0,1 bis 5%, die eine spanbrechende Wirkung und Verarbeitungsvorteile aufweisen. Der Eintrag von Dispersoiden als Ersatz von Blei erfolgt herstellungsbedingt in Form von Pulvern während des Gießprozesses. Hinsichtlich der physiologischen Wirkung dieser Zusätze von Seltenen Erden auf das Trinkwasser und die einhergehende Belastung der Kleinkinder und Erwachsenen, liegen Langzeitstudien derzeit nicht vor und zur Dosis abhängigen, inkorporierenden und toxischen Wirkung von Dispersoiden auf den menschlichen Organismus existieren bisher keine wissenschaftlichen, fundierten Aussagen.
- Der Erfindung liegt, ausgehend vom Stand der Technik, die Aufgabe zu Grunde, eine verbesserte korrosionsbeständige Kupfer-Zink-Legierung für Trinkwasserformteile zur Verfügung zu stellen, die Korrosionsbeständigkeit gegen Korrosionsvorgänge an den Oberflächen der Trinkwasserformteile aufweist und zukünftige Qualitätsanforderungen an das Trinkwasser hinsichtlich der Grenzwerte des Eintrages von Kupfer erfüllt.
- Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Erfindung gemäß Patentanspruch 1 gelöst.
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen. - Trinkwasserformteile gemäß der Erfindung sind ein Kupplungsteil, ein Übergangsteil, ein Winkelteil, ein Winkelbogenteil, ein T-Stückteil oder ein Verteilerteil.
- Durch die Legierungskomponenten Zinn, Eisen, Nickel, Aluminium , Silizium und Blei, bietet die erfindungsgemäße korrosionsbeständige Kupfer-Zink-Legierung weiterhin den Vorteil, dass die Verarbeitbarkeit der Kupfer-Zink-Legierung nicht beeinträchtigt wird und eine wirtschaftliche Herstellung von Trinkwasserformteilen mit den üblicherweise verfügbaren Fertigungsmethoden ermöglicht wird.
- Die erfindungsgemäße Kupfer-Zink-Legierung für Trinkwasserformteile erscheint physiologisch unbedenklich und umweltschonend. Durchgeführte Langzeituntersuchungen an Trinkwässern und einem pH-Wert im Bereich von 6 bis 9,5 ergaben einen deutlich reduzierten Korrosionsprodukteintrag und minimale Kupferionenlöslichkeit.
- Überraschenderweise liegen die Kupferlöslichkeitswerte der erfindungsgemäßen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung für Trinkwasserformteile unterhalb 0,75 mg/l Cu.
Die vorteilhaft erreichte Reduzierung der Kupferionenlöslichkeit in Wasser beruht bei der erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenden Legierung im Wesentlichen auf dem Zinkgehalt im Bereich von 23 bis 32%. Liegt der Zinkgehalt unterhalb der Grenze von 23%, treten Probleme in der Verarbeitung auf und oberhalb von 32% Zinkgehalt steigt die Kupferionenlöslichkeit zu größeren Werten als 0,8 mg/l Cu an. - Die Legierungszusätze von 0,01 bis 0,3% mindestens eines der Elemente Zinn, Eisen, Nickel, Aluminium und/oder Silizium unterdrückt die Kupferionenlöslichkeit in Gegenwart eines Bleigehalts von 0,7 bis 1,5% besonders wirksam und verbessert die Korrosionseigenschaft.
Eisen und/oder Zinn können der erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenden Kupfer-Zink-Legierung bis maximal 0,14% zugesetzt werden, um den Korrosionsschutz zu erhöhen.
Besonders günstig ist ein Zusatz von 0,02% Nickel und 0,01% Aluminium. Dieser führt zu einer vorteilhaften Wirkung der Unterdrückung der Kupferlöslichkeit und zeigt in Gegenwart von 0,005% Silizium eine Verbesserung der Korrosionseigenschaft.
Der Bleigehalt von 0,8 bis 1,2% verbessert in vorteilhafter Weise die Zerspanungseigenschaft und ermöglicht die wirtschaftliche Herstellung der Trinkwasserformteile. - Die Zusammensetzung in Gewichtsprozenten (Gew%) von untersuchten Kupfer-Zink-Legierungen ist in der nachfolgenden Tabelle angegeben.

- Anschließend werden aus den Rohmaterialblöcken das Vormaterial nach dem Strangpressverfahren hergestellt und in einem weiteren Arbeitsschritt die erhaltenen Stangen- und/oder Rohrprofile einer standardisierten Glühung unterzogen.
Die durch Glühung erreichte Gefügehomogenisierung der korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung erfolgt vorzugsweise bei Temperaturen von 550 bis 650 °C und einer Zeitdauer von bis zu 2 Stunden.
Nach dem Glühen werden die Stangen-/Rohrprofile einem standardisierten Ziehprozess unterzogen und abschließend thermisch entspannt. - Die Trinkwasserformteile für die Anwendung als Kupplungsteil werden durch Drehbearbeitung oder Schmiedebearbeitung mit anschließender Drehbearbeitung geformt.
Die Trinkwasserformteile für die Anwendung als Winkelteil, Winkelbogenteil und T-Stückteil werden durch Warmumformung und anschließender Konturherstellung durch drehende Bearbeitung hergestellt.
In einem weiteren Arbeitsschritt werden die Trinkwasserformteile entfettet. - An den Trinkwasserformteilen mit der erfindungsgemäßen korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung erfolgten Testreihen zur Beurteilung der Korrosionsneigung nach den vorgenannten DIN Normen. Die Kupfermengen in mg/l werden mit einem Absorptionsspektrometer gemessen und der pH-Wert der verwendeten Versuchstrinkwässer variierte in einem Bereich von 6 und 9,5.
Claims (11)
- Verwendung einer korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung für Trinkwasserformteile, die aus folgenden Legierungsbestandteilen zusammengesetzt ista) 23 bis 32% Zinkb) 0,01 bis 0,3% mindestens eines der Elemente Zinn, Eisen, Nickel, Aluminium und Siliziumc) 0,7 bis 1,5% Bleid) Rest Kupfer einschließlich herstellungsbedingter Verunreinigungenals Werkstoff für die Herstellung, wobei der Restkupferanteil sich auf die Summe der Bestandteile der jeweiligen Mischungskomponenten bei a) bis c) richtet.
- Verwendung einer korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung gemäß Anspruch 1, deren Zinkgehalt 27 bis 30% beträgt, für den in Anspruch 1 genannten Zweck.
- Verwendung einer korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, die außerdem noch 0,8 bis 1,2% Blei enthält, für den in Anspruch 1 genannten Zweck.
- Verwendung einer korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung gemäß der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, die mindestens ein Element der Gruppe
0,01 bis 0,2% Zinn
0,01 bis 0,2% Eisen
0,01 bis 0,2% Nickel und/oder Aluminium
0,002 bis 0,005% Silizium
enthält, mit der Maßgabe, dass der Gesamtgehalt dieser Elemente 0,25% nicht übersteigt, für den in Anspruch 1 genannten Zweck. - Verwendung einer korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Zink-Legierung gemäß Anspruch 4, die mindestens ein Element aus der Gruppe
0,02 bis 0,10% Zinn
0,02 bis 0,10% Eisen
0,01 bis 0,03% Nickel und/oder Aluminium
0,003 bis 0,005% Silizium
enthält und der Gesamtgehalt dieser Elemente zwischen 0,053% und 0,235% liegt, für den in Anspruch 1 genannten Zweck. - Trinkwasserformteil nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es ein Kupplungsteil ist.
- Trinkwasserformteil nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es ein Übergangsteil ist.
- Trinkwasserformteil nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es ein Winkelteil ist.
- Trinkwasserformteil nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es ein Winkelbogenteil ist
- Trinkwasserformteil nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es ein T-Stückteil ist
