Definitions

  • the invention relates to a web treatment apparatus having a first web inserter extending along a first web path and having a first cable assembly and a second web inserter extending along a second web path and having a second cable assembly, both of the cable assemblies being on the same side the web treatment device are arranged and the two web paths have at least one common portion, wherein the cable assemblies are arranged in this section adjacent to the web running direction side by side.
  • Such a web treatment device is known from DE 12 33 711 B.
  • a producer of paper webs may occasionally want to produce different products for which one wants to share a part of a production line, but one part of the production line has to pass through one paper web, while for another type of paper web it does not, or to others Way would have to be gone through.
  • a paper web into the treatment line, one usually proceeds by cutting out a narrow strip from the paper web, inserting it into the rope shears at the beginning of the web path and driving the narrow strip along with the rope arrangement through the treatment device along the desired distance. If then at the end of the treatment device, a train can be applied to the paper web, for example by a winding, then the paper web is gradually widened and introduced into the treatment device. As a rule, there is still a certain lateral offset across the direction of web travel required.
  • the use of two cable assemblies at both axial ends of the treatment device has a number of disadvantages.
  • the lead-in strip must then be cut by the treatment device on the right or on the left side of the paper web depending on the desired web path. Correspondingly complicated, the cutting device used for this purpose must be formed.
  • the paper strip on the drive side is difficult to reach for the machine operator.
  • insertion ropes on the drive side of the machine are actually not desirable.
  • the cable arrangements run over the entire paper machine on the leader side, and a change to the inaccessible and unintelligible side for the operator is problematic.
  • the invention is based on the object of having a greater flexibility in guiding a web through the treatment device.
  • transverse to the web running direction further inside cable arrangement is displaced out of a range at least in part of the section, which is arranged transversely to the web running direction next to the section.
  • the first web path and the second web path are different only in a part of the web processing device, another part of the two web paths is identical.
  • the two cable assemblies are arranged side by side, it could be that the further inner cable assembly could guide the strip of the material web which has been passed through the treatment device on its way axially inwards (With respect to an axial direction of guide rollers) hindered. In order to avoid that this strip gets caught on the respectively axially further inside cable arrangement, this cable arrangement is simply moved away, so removed from the area where they could form an obstacle for the strip.
  • the cable assemblies extend in the portion of the portion above at least one roller, and the inner cable assembly is liftable.
  • the cable assemblies capture the insertion strips usually only in a relatively narrow range.
  • the overlying areas of the lead-in strip hang down under the action of gravity.
  • the insertion strip can be easily pulled under the axially inner cable arrangement without being hindered by this cable arrangement.
  • the axially inner cable arrangement could lead to problems because the strip then gets caught on this rope assembly. If you limit the displacement of the rope arrangement to these areas, then you have taken the necessary measures to prevent disability. Further measures are basically not required.
  • a support element arrangement engages under the liftable cable arrangement and can be raised at least by the height of the support element arrangement. So you can support elements, such as fingers or hooks drive under the rope assembly, the rope assembly and then raise the rope assembly. In order to prevent a collision of the lead-in strip of the paper web with the support elements, the support elements must, of course, be raised so far that below the support elements sufficient free space for the movement of the lead-in strip is available.
  • the support element arrangement has cylindrical support elements.
  • the cylindrical support elements have a rounded shape, at least on their surface supporting the cable arrangement. Thus, the risk is minimized that the support elements exert a notch effect on the cable assembly.
  • the support elements are rotatably mounted.
  • a rotatable mounting changes in length of the cable assembly, resulting in the movement of the support members, can be collected without resulting in a slip or friction between the support members and the cable assembly.
  • the load of the rope arrangement is kept small.
  • the bearing of the support elements does not have to be designed for full insertion speed. If the cable assembly is raised, then it is out of order and can rest accordingly.
  • the first cable arrangement at the beginning of the first track path forms a first rope scissors and the second cable arrangement forms at the beginning of the second track path, a second rope scissors, each rope scissors is spatially variable.
  • a kind of "switch" with which one can choose, through which path the insertion strip is guided.
  • the lead-in strip is passed through the track path, the rope shears of which are located in the area where the track arrives. In this way, even with a single insertion strip on one side of the web is given a great deal of freedom in the selection of the web paths without major conversions are required.
  • each rope scissors is movable from a takeover position to a waiting position, wherein the takeover positions for both rope scissors are the same and a rope scissors is in the waiting position, while the other rope scissors is in the takeover position.
  • the waiting positions are designed so that the insertion strip can not be detected. The fact that waiting position and transfer position of the two rope shears are "locked" against each other, as it were, the control is simplified in the selection of the web paths.
  • the rope shears are fixed on a common carrier, wherein the carrier is displaced. This is a particularly simple embodiment to ensure that only a rope scissors can be "active". If a rope scissors is moved into the takeover position, the other rope scissors is automatically moved to the waiting position.
  • the carrier has a positioning drive.
  • a positioning drive is able to position the carrier on the frame of the treatment device relatively accurately, so that the insertion strip of the material web is guided with great reliability in the correct orientation to the cable shears.
  • a treatment apparatus designed as a calender 1, for a paper web 2, which is fed by a preceding processing stage, for example a drying apparatus 3, has a first web path 4 and a second web path 5.
  • the paper web 2 is passed through nips 6,7, which are formed between rollers 8, 9, 10.
  • the rollers 8-10 are mounted in a stand 11 of the calender 1.
  • a plurality of guide rollers 12-18 are provided.
  • another treatment device 19 for example, a reel.
  • the second web path 5 has guide rollers 20, 21, 15-18, ie between the guide roller 15 and the treatment device 19 there is a section 22 which is common to both web paths. Part 23 of the section 22 runs above guide rollers 16, 17. It will be later to come back later.
  • each track path 4, 5 has a cable arrangement 24, 25, wherein each cable arrangement 24, 25 is formed by a pair of cables 26, 27 for the first cable arrangement and 28, 29 for the second cable arrangement 25 ,
  • the cable pair 26, 27 of the first cable arrangement 24 is guided along the first track path 4.
  • the second pair of cables 28, 29 of the second cable arrangement 25 is guided along the second path 5.
  • the pair of cables 26, 27 forms at the beginning of the first web path 4, a first cable shears 30, in which the two ropes 26, 27 run towards each other and the incoming paper web 2, for this purpose cut into a narrow strip (known, but not shown in detail) is, capture.
  • a transport device 31 is provided, which is formed in the simplest case as a sliding surface, but may also have air nozzles or even a conveyor belt.
  • the second cable arrangement 25 also has a cable cutter 32, in which the cables 28, 29 run towards one another and, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4, can detect the tapering paper web 2.
  • Both rope shears 30, 32 are arranged on a common carrier 33 which is displaceable in the direction of a double arrow 34 on the stand 11. With the displacement of the carrier 33, a displacement of the two rope shears 30, 32 takes place. The rope shears are thus formed so that they can move relative to the tapering paper web 2.
  • both rope shears 30, 32 are arranged on the common carrier 33, they can only be moved together. It is therefore always ensured that only a rope scissors 30 or 32 is in a position in which they can detect the tapered paper web 2. This is the so-called "takeover position".
  • Fig. 1 and 2 it is shown that the rope cutter 30 is in the transfer position.
  • Figs. 3 and 4 it can be seen that the rope cutter 32 is in the transfer position.
  • the rope scissors 32 is in a waiting position in which it is not normally accessible from the paper web 2.
  • the rope shears are in the waiting position, i. it can not be reached by the paper web 2.
  • a positioning drive 35 is provided, with which one can set the position of the carrier 33 and thus the positions of the cable shears 30, 32 on the stand 11 very accurately.
  • the carrier 33 is lowered so that the first cable cutter 30 is in the transfer position.
  • the incoming paper web 2 is, assisted by the transport device 31, the rope cutter 30 supplied and thus automatically enters the first path path. 4
  • the carrier 33 is raised, so that the rope cutter 32 is in the transfer position.
  • the tapered paper web 2 is guided via the transport device 31 in the rope cutter 32. In this case, the paper web is introduced through the ropes 28, 29 in the web path 5.
  • the ropes 26-29 are performed in a manner not shown by the ends of the two web paths 4, 5, which need not necessarily match, back to the respective beginnings. To avoid a collision, the ropes 26, 27 on the one hand and 28, 29 on the other hand offset in the web running direction to each other, as is apparent from FIGS. 1 to 4.
  • each guide roller is arranged on the same axis as the associated guide roller, but can rotate freely relative to the guide roller 15-18 and to the respective other guide roller of a pair.
  • Each guide roller 36a, 36b - 39a, 39b has a circumferential groove 40 for Receiving the respective cable assemblies 24, 25, as is known per se.
  • the two cable arrangements 24, 25 are arranged transversely to the running direction 42 of the paper web 2 next to one another.
  • the cable assembly 24 of the first track path 4 is axially (relative to the direction of the guide rollers 15-18) further inside than the cable assembly 25 of the second path.
  • the strip is pulled along the second web path 5, that is to say with the aid of the cable arrangement 25, the following effect occurs: it must be assumed that the strip, where it is not caught by the cable arrangement 25, becomes somewhat under the action of gravity hangs down. In the area of the guide roller 15, this has no problems. The downwardly depending inner edge of the strip can be easily passed under the cable assembly 25 of the first web path become. This is true even if the cable assembly 24 is, so does not move at web speed.
  • the cable arrangement 24 can lead to problems when the edge of the strip 2 hooks on the cable arrangement 24.
  • support members 43, 44 are provided for the inner cable assembly 24 which allow the inner cable assembly 24 to be lifted off the guide rollers 37a, 38a by a height greater than the height of the support elements 43, 44. In this way, a space is created through which the strip of paper web 2 can pass, when the strip is guided over the second path 5 with the aid of the second cable arrangement 25.
  • the support elements 43, 44 are cylindrically listed, at least on their the cable assembly 24 supporting surface. This avoids that the cable assembly 24 is kinked by the support members 43, 44.
  • the support elements 43, 44 may also be designed to be rotatable. Here, however, lower requirements are placed on the storage, because the cable assembly 24 is not normally moved in the raised state.
  • the rotatable mounting of the support members 43, 44 serves to be able to compensate for small changes in length, resulting from the lifting of the first cable assembly 24.
  • both cable assemblies 24, 25 means to accommodate the caused by the displacement of the cable shears 30, 32 changes in length. These means are expediently arranged where they do not interfere with the feeding of the paper web 2, for example in the return path of the cable arrangements 24, 25.
  • a corresponding web guide is also applicable to other treatment devices for webs, for example in coating machines, dryers or humidifiers or the like.
