Abstract

It is proposed that a profiled section that, subsequent to its fabrication, has a channel that is fully enclosed on all sides be employed for holding hygienic articles. The channel is arranged on the rear of a front wall of the profiled section such that will be initially concealed from view. The channel borders on the front wall of the profiled section. Description

The invention relates to an installation unit for sanitary facilities, in particular for holding sanitary articles. This may be, for example, a shower holder, which should also be mounted, if necessary, adjustable in height. Other sanitary items that can or should be attached to the holder are shelves, holders for toothbrush glasses or the like.

There is already a shower holder known ( DE 7908437 U ) using an elongated profile. The profile has at its front a extending over the entire length of the profile slot, which merges behind the surface of the profile in a circular channel. In the slot, a slider is slidably guided, on which a hand shower can be mounted. The profile is open to the rear and can be mounted in front of a wall.

Also known is a device for steplessly vertically adjustable mount a shower or hand shower ( DE 7921329 U ). In this device, a profile is present, which has the cross-sectional shape of a rectilinear bar with a mounted on the front of the bar hollow profile with a rectangular cross-section. From the front of the hollow profile, a slot leads to the outside. Through the slot a holder engages in the interior of the hollow profile.

Furthermore, a device for height-adjustable arrangement of a bath shower is known ( DE 2601059 ), in which a shower one vertical wall bar is displaced along. The wall rod has at its rear side a slot through which the bracket for the shower is connected to a valve disposed within the wall rod slider.

In another known height-adjustable shower ( US 3,806,963 ) is within a hollow profile a holder for the shower displaced. Within the hollow profile, a hose is arranged.

There is already known a device for mounting shower fittings with a retaining rail, which is designed as a hollow profile with a continuous from front to end to the front side open channel. At the ends of the hollow profile of the retaining rail holding pieces can be attached, which in turn can be covered by aufklemmbare cover caps. The retaining pieces are used to attach the retaining rail to a wall ( EP-A-0076906 ).

Furthermore, a rail for moving a shower head is known ( US 2685093 ), which is bent from sheet metal. At the upper and lower end of the profile formed thereby, a mounting block is provided which covers the slot opening towards the end.

Also known is a shower arrangement ( DE 7233907 ), in which a square profile has in its front very short slots in which a support can intervene.

The invention is based on the object to provide a simply constructed and inexpensive to produce holder for sanitary items, which can be customized after production still individually to the needs of each installation.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes a holder with the features mentioned in claim 1 or 2. Further developments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.

The opening, which may be elongate after completion of the installation unit at the front of the profile, allows access to the channel located within the profile. In the channel, different objects can be attached, which can protrude through the opening to the outside.

The channel can be water-bearing. The water supply can be connected both from the front as well as from the front or rear.

After completion of the installation unit contains this in the profile surface at least one opening that allows access to the arranged behind the tread surface channel. The opening can be used to define a sanitary object. The opening may be a small opening that for example, is completely covered by the salaried sanitary object. However, it can also be a slot which extends in the longitudinal direction of the profile and can serve to hold one or more showers, if necessary, overhead shower slidably.

According to the invention, it is provided that the opening extends in the finished state of the installation unit only over part of the length of the profile.

Invention according to may also be provided that the profile is constructed of at least two profile extensions arranged in mutual extension. Here, the opening can be arranged both in the one and in the other profile section, of course, in both.

According to the invention it is provided that the slot passes through the entire length of the profile or over the entire length of the profile section after production of the profile and is then closed by at least one cover over part of its length. In this way, too, an opening can be produced which extends over only part of the length of the profile and / or the installation unit. Of course, can be realized in this way, several openings.

The cover, which is used to limit the opening, for example, be attached from the outside of the profile.

However, it is also possible and is proposed by the invention that the cover of a kind of bar, a rod or the like is formed, which is inserted into the channel, for example from a front side. Part of this bar can then form the cover, the closes the slot inwards. In particular, it may be a rod that completely fills the cross section of the channel.

In claim 1 it is provided that the channel after production of the profile over the entire length of the profile has a closed periphery and the opening is subsequently produced. This can be done for example by a machining, for example by means of a milling cutter.

The profile is first manufactured according to this feature during manufacture so that the channel remains completely closed. It is only open at the top and / or bottom end of the profile. If the profile is to be mounted at a certain point, the visible profile surface initially has no opening for the channel. It is therefore possible to use the holder also so that no visible opening is present.

In a further development of the invention it can be provided that the cross section of the channel is formed such that its transverse dimension initially increases behind the boundary wall formed by the profile surface. This can also be done, for example, by the channel having a circular cross-section, which adjoins the boundary wall of the profile at one point.

According to the invention can be provided in a development of the invention that the profile including the at least one channel is formed symmetrically. For example, this would mean for a single channel to be located midway between two side edges of the profile.

In order to detachably attach a certain sanitary object to the profile, it can be provided according to the invention that the channel is opened over a certain length by a slot in the profile surface for receiving the sanitary article. It can be a very short slot, if the sanitary object does not need to be adjusted in height. But it may also be a longer slot, if the possibility should be given to attach the sanitary object in different heights infinitely adjustable.

According to the invention it can be provided that the slot is undercut, so that the sanitary object can be fixed at the edges of the slot or in the channel itself by clamping.

In particular, it can be provided that the sanitary object is slidably supported in the channel over the length of the opening slot. Clamping means may be used to fix it, or it may be ensured by a close fit that the sanitary object will settle in the channel itself due to its own weight by a slight tilting.

The channel goes, as already mentioned, over the entire length of the profile. This has the advantage of easy production of the profile, which can be prepared for example by extrusion. It is therefore possible to open the channel at several points by a respective slot, so that different sanitary objects can be supported in the same channel at different heights of the holder.

For holding an overhead shower can also be provided that at least one slot extends from the end edge of the profile. Then the overhead shower, for example, from above into the channel are introduced and then the profile are covered by a cap.

However, it is also possible and is proposed by the invention that at least one slot has a widened insertion point, which can be covered for example after insertion of the sanitary object. It is also conceivable, a holder for a sanitary object in such a way that it can be inserted through a slot without broadened insertion point, the lock can then be effected by a spreading, tilting or the like after insertion.

It has already been mentioned that a channel can be opened in several places to hold several sanitary items. However, it is also possible and within the scope of the invention that a sanitary object is held and / or guided in more than one channel. For example, it is possible to attach a tray, which may be relatively wide, to a plurality of parallel channels, possibly also adjustable in height.

When attaching a plurality of slots, these may have a different width.

In the production of the profile with more than one channel can be provided that the channels have the same or different profiles. It can also be provided that the channels and / or slots are arranged at different angles with respect to a reference surface of the profile. As a reference surface, for example, a contact surface of the profile are used, with which the profile can be applied to a wall.

According to the invention may be provided in a development that the profile is a hollow profile, wherein the channel is arranged in the interior of the hollow profile. Of course, it is also possible to form the profile as an open profile, in which case the channel is arranged so that it is covered by an existing at installation front.

According to the invention, the slots in the contact surfaces can serve to receive seals. This allows the installation unit to be sealed against the wall. The slots can also serve to hold sanitary items, which may be slightly larger and / or wider. Also housing parts for housing, for example, side shower can be fixed there. FIG. 1 shows a front view of a completely finished holder for sanitary articles. The holder includes an elongated vertical profile 1, which is for example mounted in the corner between two walls. On the profile of a shower head 2 is mounted in the upper region, which is connected via a shower hose 3 with a control panel 4. Above the control panel 4, a tray 5 is mounted, which extends over more than the width of the profile 1. On the control panel 4 control elements 6 are arranged, for example, switches between different showers, a handle for a temperature setting and a handle for the open position of the showers. Below the control panel 4, the profile includes a plurality of side showers 7, which are arranged centrally between the two side edges 8 of the profile 1.

As can already be seen from the view of FIG. 1, a longitudinal slot 9 is present on the front side of the profile 1 in the upper region, which terminates shortly above the tray 5. In this slot 9, the holder 10 is attached to the overhead shower 2. She can be inside of the slot are moved up and down. Further details are not shown, such fixing devices are known per se.

Now to the figure 2. Figure 2 shows the profile 1 after its production. The profile has a closed profile surface, which is arcuately convex in the example shown. The front profile surface 11 is followed by two contact surfaces 12, which run at a right angle to each other, whose apex lies behind the profile. The contact surfaces 12 are connected at a distance behind the visible profile surface 11 by a flat boundary wall 13 with each other. This creates a hollow profile. In the two contact surfaces 12, a longitudinal slot 14 is formed, which leads into a recess 15 which extends over the entire length of the profile. This recess can serve to receive a cover during the transport of the holder.

In the cavity of the hollow profile, a channel 16 is formed immediately adjacent to the visible front side 11, which is formed as a completely closed profile. Only in the region of the two end faces of the profile of this channel 16 is open. A boundary wall of the channel 16, namely the front, is formed by the visible tread surface 11. Starting from this front side, the transverse dimension of the channel 16 increases into the interior. This creates a kind of dovetail shape of the closed channel 16.

The channel 16 can be opened by inserting in the front wall 11 of the profile 1 a slot 9 which extends either over the entire length of the profile or only over part of the length. Figure 3 shows a view in which the channel 16 is opened by such a slot 9. The slot 9 has a width which is the distance of the side walls of the channel immediately behind the front Boundary wall 11 of the profile 1 corresponds. As a result, the slot 9 is undercut. It would also be possible to make the slot 9 less wide, so that even here a closer training of the slot 9 is possible. As shown in FIG. 1, this slot can only be formed over part of the length of the profile. It can start from one end face of the profile, or else be closed in the region of its two ends. The slot 9, see Figure 1, can be used to hold several sanitary items, such as the holder of a toothbrush glass, with brackets that engage in the slot 9, can also be asymmetric.

FIG. 4 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 2 for another profile shape. Again, the profile 21 is formed as a hollow profile with two contact surfaces 12 and a flat boundary surface 13. In the arcuate front side 32 three slots 9 are now introduced, each leading into a channel 26. Of course, it is also possible here that the slots 9 extend only over part of the length of the profile. In the two outer slots 26, for example, elements could be arranged on which the tray 5 is held. The central slot 26 could serve for the overhead shower. Again, the slots 9 are undercut so that brackets can be set at the edges of the slot.

Both the profile of Figure 2 and the profile of Figure 4 is formed symmetrically to a median plane.

The profiles can be mounted in the corner of a room, with the surfaces 12 then being able to fit against the walls of the room. But it is also possible to install the profile in front of a wall, so not in a corner. Then, the slots 14 may also serve to attach support members which support objects present at the front of the profile.

Figure 5 shows an embodiment in which the installation unit has a profile which is composed of two profile sections 31, 32. In the example shown, the upper profile section 31 includes a slot-like opening 33, which is open to the bottom 34. In return, the lower profile section 32 eliminates a slot 35, which is open towards the upper end face 36 of the profile section 32. Both profile sections 31, 32 are arranged in mutual extension and are connected to the control panel 4. In the operator panel, for example, there may be ports that receive leads leading to an overhead shower in the slot-like opening 33. The conduit may be partially mounted within the conduit. It is also conceivable to design the channel water-bearing itself.

Figure 6 shows a simplified profile, in which the slot-like opening 27 extends over the entire length of the profile. Here, a limitation of the opening in the profile surface opening can be achieved that from a front side a profile bar 28 is inserted into the channel behind the opening 27. This profile bar may have a cross section corresponding to the inner cross section of the channel, wherein a strip-like projection 29 at the front of the profile bar 28 may cover the slot-like opening 27. The surface of the projection 29 may be flush with the profile surface of the profile.

The embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 7 to 9 show a further possibility of how the installation unit according to the invention can be constructed and used. Instead of a relatively simple and small operating unit 4, see Figure 5, here a housing part 30 is attached to the profile 31, which projects laterally far beyond the side edge of the profile 31. The housing part is angled in its side wing so that the back 41 in a plane with the contact surface 12 is located. If the profile 31 is mounted in a corner of the room, then the rear side 41 of the lateral wing of the housing part 30 can rest on the wall and be fastened there.

The housing part 30 serves, for example, on its front side for receiving a shelf 42, possibly also for receiving side showers 43 or for receiving controls for side showers. The attachment of the housing part 30 to the profile can be done, for example, that at the front of the profile 31 facing the rear side of the housing part 30, a holder is provided which engages in the not shown in Figure 8 and 7 slot. It would also be conceivable that this housing part 30, which indeed has a relatively large size, would be guided in the slots 14 of the contact surfaces 12.

It is possible and within the scope of the invention, a housing part similar to the housing part 30 in such a way that it is formed in the region of its two ends for connection to a profile 31. Then, in an area corner or in a corner of the cabin with the aid of two profiles 31, an installation unit may be formed which has two parallel profiles.

The housing part 30 of the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 9 is designed so that it can also be mounted in the opposite orientation, so that the wing is not directed to the left in FIG. 7, but to the right in FIG. This can be achieved, for example, that the connection for the hose can be mounted both above and below.

It is likewise possible and within the scope of the invention to design a housing part 30 such that it has two lateral wings, which then extend both to the left in Figure 7 and to the right in Figure 7.

Claims (30)
