Definitions
- the invention relates to a superstructure for a drain located in the floor area of a washing or shower area, which is to be built into a wall element and has the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the superstructure structure comprises a cover box to be placed over the drain with a preferably closed rear wall, a ceiling wall and side walls connecting them.
- the cover box has an underside which is open towards the drain and a front side which is open towards the interior of the washing or shower area for receiving a plate-shaped cover flap of the superstructure.
- the cover flap has a first visible surface pointing outward in direction (R1), a second visible surface pointing inward in direction (R2) and a lower edge and, when installed, is oriented approximately perpendicular to a floor surface of the washing or shower area and is arranged in such a way that a drainage slot remains below the lower edge.
- the cover flap and the cover box are detachably coupled to one another via a suspension of the superstructure.
- the cover flap is movable about an axis of rotation.
- Compatible guide elements are provided on the side walls of the cover box or on the cover flap, each of which is arranged in a plane perpendicular to the rear wall and / or top wall of the cover box and can be fixed to the cover box or on the cover flap with an adjustment element of the superstructure.
- the suspension can be displaced via the first guide element in a direction perpendicular to the top wall and via the second guide element in a direction perpendicular to the rear wall.
- the position of the cover flap is thus compared to the cover box, both in terms of their distance from the top wall and in terms of their distance from the rear wall, can be predefined and fixed with the setting element.
- a superstructure of the aforementioned type is from the document DE 10 2011 051 496 B4 known to the applicant.
- the known superstructure construction has proven itself, but there is a need to simplify the adjustment options of the suspension, because the height, depth and inclination must be precisely adjusted and possibly readjusted with a template and then fixed with screws.
- the cover flap has two visible surfaces that can be used optionally. On the narrow sides of the cover flap, hanging hooks pointing to the rear wall of the cover box are arranged, with which the cover flap can be movably attached in a hanging device of the superstructure. Due to the rear-facing hooks, the cover flap is overall asymmetrical.
- cover flap with attached suspension hooks can only be installed in the superstructure structure in a direction predetermined by the attachment of the suspension hooks. If the cover flap is to be used with its second, "hidden", for example ceramic, visible surface, the hooks have to be unscrewed, turned around and reinstalled in order to reveal the ceramic visible surface instead of the metal one.
- hidden for example ceramic, visible surface
- suspension hooks protrude relatively far beyond the visible surface of the cover flap, they have a certain elasticity that can impair exact alignment.
- suspension point lies behind the center of gravity of the cover flap, so that the cover flap tends to be inclined in which its visible surface is not aligned with the surrounding wall.
- the adjustment is relatively complex overall and can cause undesirable dimensional differences and inaccuracies in the gap surrounding the cover flap.
- FR 2 916 458 A1 a drainage shaft known into which a sewer pipe opens.
- a removable filter is attached to a filter holder at the mouth of the sewer pipe leading to the drainage shaft.
- the filter has outwardly facing pins on its outer sides.
- the filter holder has corresponding receptacles that are open at the top, so that the filter can be inserted into the filter holder from above and is held there. Since there are two pins on each side of the filter, the filter is fixed in the holder. In this respect, the pins do not form an axis of rotation around which the filter could perform a pivoting movement.
- the bolts are arranged off-center, so that the filter can only be hung in the filter holder in a predefined orientation.
- the object of the invention is to propose a superstructure construction in which the adjustment and fixing of the cover flap in the desired position relative to the cover box is simplified.
- a problem-free attachment of the Cover flap can be guaranteed with the desired visible side without having to use tools.
- the adjustability of the cover flap with respect to the cover box, the wall element and at the same time the floor area of the washing or shower area is achieved by interlocking and displaceable guide elements forming a suspension.
- the distance between the cover flap and the rear wall of the cover box or the distance from the top wall of the cover box can be adjusted by means of the guide elements.
- At least one guide element is designed in the form of a first guide carriage guided in the side wall of the cover box.
- the guide elements are preferably designed as flat guide carriages which can be displaced both in the direction of the rear wall and in the direction of the top wall of the cover box in a plane arranged perpendicular to the rear wall.
- the mentioned plane can be understood as an X-Y coordinate system in which one guide carriage can be moved in the Y direction and thus up and down and the other guide carriage in the X direction and thus forwards and backwards.
- One of the guide carriages has a holder for the cover flap.
- the cover flap can thus be suspended with its suspension hooks or bolts in the brackets provided on the guide carriage.
- the guide carriages are freely accessible and can easily be adjusted so that the suspension points are exactly in the desired position. If the suspension points are in the desired position, the guide carriages and thus the suspension points are fixed. As a result, the cover flap can then be installed and removed as often as required and always takes the same position when it is attached.
- the first guide element serves to adjust the position of the cover flap with respect to the cover box with regard to its distance from the ceiling wall.
- a possibly provided second guide slide is preferably integrated into the first guide slide in such a way that the distance to the rear wall can be adjusted by means of the second guide slide.
- the first guide element is used to adjust the position of the cover flap with respect to the rear wall.
- an optionally provided second guide carriage for aligning the distance to the top wall of the cover box.
- the position adjustment can be carried out with the aid of a single adjustment element built into the side wall.
- a simple screw with a nut for example, can serve as an adjusting element.
- the screw penetrates the two sliding guide carriages and couples them to the side wall of the cover box.
- the screw can be mounted in a slightly loosened position in the first step, so that both guide carriages are only loosely held in their guideways and can be freely displaced in the guides in the X and Y directions.
- the suspension point is then brought into the desired position by simply moving it back and forth, possibly supported by a stop template. Once this position has been established, the screw is tightened and the position of the guide carriage is fixed.
- the side walls are preferably made of plastic as the support bodies carrying the suspension, for example as injection molded parts.
- the cover plate preferably has two different visible surfaces, for example a ceramic and a metal visible surface.
- the cover plate can be provided on its narrow sides with latching and stop elements protruding in the direction of the side walls, which, on the one hand, enable the cover plate to rotate about an axis of rotation and, on the other hand, ensure its vertical, stable alignment, so that the cover plate used with a surface of the wall element, for example, tile covering can be in alignment.
- the latching elements protruding over the narrow sides of the cover plate can be rigid or flexible.
- the cover flap can be held securely in a desired position on the one hand and, on the other hand, easily dismantled if necessary, e.g. to clean the drainage channel located inside the superstructure element.
- a rigid latching element can be formed, for example, by a rigid bolt protruding from the side surface of the cover flap.
- the latching function is implemented in this case in that the cover flap, which can be rotated about the axis of rotation of the suspension, makes contact with a bulge on the edge of a recess shortly before reaching its vertical end position. If the flap is rotated further, the bolt is guided along the bulge and the flap is raised a little. After overcoming the aforementioned bulge, the bolt engages in the depression behind the bulge due to gravity.
- a flexible design of a locking element can be implemented in that the locking bolt is supported against a spring element in the direction of the narrow side and is thus linearly movable.
- a counter bearing can be in the side wall of the cover box or in a Guide carriage be provided a bore.
- the ends or narrow sides of the cover plate and their visible surfaces are preferably constructed with mirror symmetry to one another.
- the side walls of the cover box with their guide carriages and setting elements are designed to be mirror-symmetrical to one another. This enables the visible surface to be changed easily by turning over and reinserting the cover plate in the suspension of the side walls.
- a shower area 50 is shown schematically in a separate representation in a ground-level version (without side walls), comprising a wall element 11 and a shower plate 49, which is provided at the factory with a channel 51 and drain installation elements (not shown) for a line drainage known per se.
- the wall element 11 ending in a cover box 16 and the shower tray 49 can be covered with ceramic or plastic coverings.
- the cover box 16 can have an overall width which is smaller than that of the wall element 11, so that it fits into a rectangular recess on the lower edge of the wall element 11. Another embodiment provides that the total width of the cover box 16 and the wall element 11 is the same.
- the Fig. 1 a projection 52, shown with dashed lines, of the wall element 11 onto the shower tray 49 can also be seen.
- the superstructure construction 100 makes it possible to dispense with the grate elements in the step area.
- the Figure 6a and 6b show a superstructure construction 100, comprising the cover box 16 built into the wall element 11 with a cover flap 20 suspended there.
- the superstructure construction 100 covers a schematically indicated drain 10 and at the same time the channel 51.
- the Figures 6a and 6b differ in the position in which the cover flap is attached.
- the cover flap 20 is attached with the visible surface 24 pointing in the direction R1 and thus visible from the shower area, while in FIG Figure 6b the visible surface 24 'points in the direction R1 and is thus visible.
- the elements of the superstructure 100 are also shown in Fig. 2 to see.
- the cover box 16 shown there is composed of a metal rear wall 17, a metal top wall 19 and two side walls 18, 18 'arranged mirror-symmetrically to one another.
- the cover box 16 has an underside 12 which is open towards the drain 10 and a front side 13 which is open towards the interior of the shower space 50 for receiving the said cover flap 20 (cf. Figure 6a and 6b ) on.
- the side wall 18, 18 ' (cf. Figures 3 and 5 ) comprises a rectangular support body 53 made of plastic with a plate-shaped, screw-on cover 36, as well as a first and second guide element 31; 32.
- a two-part structure consisting of a support body 53 and a screwed-on cover 36
- a one-piece design can also be provided in which the cover element is integrated into the support body 53.
- the cover 36 fits into a rectangular, elongated recess 39 of the support body 53 and can be fastened there by means of countersunk screws (not shown).
- the cover 36 has six with openings 55 of the support body 53 coinciding Openings 54 on.
- An elongated hole 33 runs between the openings 54 of the cover 36 and, accordingly, a guide groove 34 between the openings 55 of the support body 53, in which a nut 38 is displaceably arranged.
- the screw 37 shown is screwed in, the function of which will be described later.
- the recess 39 of the support body 53 is limited by two guide edges 48, 48 ', which protrude slightly beyond the inserted cover 36 and thereby provide a U-shaped guide for a in the Figures 3 and 5
- the flat first guide element 31 has two lateral, elongated projections 56 and a bore 29 and forms a first guide carriage 41.
- the elongated projections 56 in turn form a guide for a second plate-shaped guide element 32 that engages in the first guide element.
- the described guide element 32 functions as a second guide slide 42, the elongated hole 35 of which is directed perpendicular to the rear wall 17 of the cover box 16 in the assembled state of all guide elements.
- the interlocking guide elements 31; 32 form a suspension 30 of the cover flap 20.
- the guide elements 31; 32 lie in a plane E running perpendicular to the rear wall 17 and / or top wall 19 of the cover box 16 (cf. Fig. 8 ).
- the staggered arrangement of the slots 33; 35 is similar to a right-angled coordinate system (cf. Fig. 5 ), in which "X” denotes a direction perpendicular to the rear wall 17 and "Y” denotes a direction perpendicular to the top wall 19.
- the cover flap 20 is strip-shaped or cuboid (cf. Figures 7 and 8th ) and is mirror-symmetrical in relation to an in Fig. 2 line of symmetry marked "S".
- the Fig. 2 also shows a plate element 15 of the cover flap 20 having two longitudinal sides 22, 22 'and two narrow sides 23, 23'.
- the cover flap 20 is surrounded by a trough-shaped, metal frame 21, leaving a first visible surface 24, which is non-metallic in the present case (cf. Fig. 6 ).
- the frame 21 can for example be filled with a ceramic material (tile).
- a second visible surface 24 ′ opposite the first is therefore metallic, for example made of stainless steel.
- the cover flap 20 has on its two narrow sides 23, 23 'hanging elements protruding beyond the frame 21, namely a lower latching element 43 which, when the cover flap 20 is installed, is inserted into the recess 61 of the support arm 58 (cf. Figure 4b ) engages and an upper latching element 44, which in turn is supported on the arcuate support surface 69 and is arranged pivotably about an axis of rotation 27.
- the stop element 45 which is located above the upper latching element 44 and which makes contact with the stop surface 46 when the cover flap 20 is aligned, also protrudes over the frame 21.
- the plastic molded piece 62 shown (above) is installed in a form-fitting manner in the narrow side 23, 23 'of the cover flap 20 (cf. Fig. 7 ).
- the molded piece 62 comprises the aforementioned latching elements 43, 44 and the stop element 45.
- the cover flap 20 is also constructed symmetrically with respect to a center plane M, so that the two visible surfaces 24 and 24 'are at the same distance from the center plane M.
- the Figures 11 and 12 show an alternative embodiment of the in Figure 3 side wall 18, 18 'shown, namely the side wall 118; 118 '.
- the side walls 118 and 118 ' are constructed with mirror symmetry and delimit an interior space formed by the superstructure structure 100 on two sides.
- the side wall 118 forms one side wall and the side wall 118 'forms the other side wall of the interior.
- the side wall 118, 118 'each comprises a support body 153 as well as a first guide element 131 and a second guide element 132.
- a cover 36 cf. Fig.
- the surface facing the first guide carriage 131 is arranged somewhat deeper than the surface of the support body 153, so that the guide element 131 can be inserted largely positively into the support body 153 while leaving a free space that forms a loose fit.
- a slight free space is provided between the longitudinal sides of the guide element 131 and two guide edges 171 provided in the support body 153, so that there is a loose fit and that Guide element 131 represents a first guide carriage 141 which is linearly displaceable even when the side wall 118, 118 'is in the assembled state.
- the first guide element 131 has a rectangular and one-piece structure which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, is provided with a total of four projections 156 on two opposite sides. As an alternative to the example shown, a different number of projections 156 or other configurations are also possible. It is essential that the elements provided form a guide and thus serve the same purpose as the projections 56 of the first guide carriage 31 (cf. Fig. 3 ).
- the projections 156 thus form a guide track for the second guide element 132, which can also be inserted between the projections 156 of the first guide element 131 on the basis of a clearance fit. In the assembled state, the second guide element 132 thus forms a second guide slide 142 which is linearly displaceable with respect to the first guide slide 141.
- the two guide tracks of the guide carriages 141, 142 are offset by 90 ° to each other, so that a support surface 160 provided on the second guide element 132, which carries the cover flap 20 in the completely assembled state of the superstructure structure 100, can be adjusted in the XY direction and in particular adjusted in this way that the cover flap can be adjusted in exactly the desired position (see also Fig. 5 , XY system),
- the cover flap 20 shown can be used as an alternative to the in Fig. 3 Shaped pieces 62 shown also with the in Figures 11 and 12 be equipped fittings 162 shown.
- a cover flap 20 provided with molded pieces 162 also has essentially the same function as that in FIG Fig. 2 illustrated embodiment with molded pieces 62.
- the cover flap 20 should be easy to install and remove on the one hand and pivotable about an axis of rotation and fixable in a predefined position on the other hand.
- the preferred position in which the releasable fixation is to be realized is a position in which the cover flap 20 is oriented vertically.
- the shaped pieces 162 have latching elements 144 which are compatible with the support surfaces 160 of the second guide elements 132.
- the cover flap 20 suspended in the suspension can thus swing around the latching elements 144, the swinging movement being limited by a stop element 145.
- a stop element 145 attached to the molded piece 162 contacts a stop 146 integrated on the second guide element 132 and thus limits the pivoting movement.
- the latching element 143 is an alternative embodiment of the latching element 43 Fig. 3 .
- the latching element 143 integrated in the fitting 162 comprises a flexible tongue 173 with a projection 172 arranged at its end.
- the cover flap 20, more precisely the latching element 143 attached to the fitting 162 latches when the cover flap 20 is in a vertical position is pivoted into a recess 161 and thus fixes the cover flap 20 in this position. If the cover flap 20 is to be pivoted out of the fixed position, a force dependent on the flexibility or the resistance torque of the latching element 143 is required.
- the projection 172 of the latching element 143 located in the recess 161 slides out of the recess 161 and can slide along the surface of the second guide element 132 when the cover flap 20 is pivoted further. If the cover flap 20 swivels back into a vertical position, the projection 172 again engages in the recess 161.
- the cover flap 20 is oriented vertically with its ceramic visible surface 24, so that the visible surface 24 points outwards in the direction R1.
- the second visible surface 24 'facing inward in the direction R2 is "hidden" from the user.
- a drain slot 14 is located between a lower edge 25 of the cover flap 20 and a floor surface 26 of the shower tray 49.
- the ceramic visible surface 24 is aligned with a ceramic surface 47 of the wall element 11.
- the cover flap 20 is manually pressed inward in the region of its lower edge 25.
- the lower latching element 43 is made of the recess 61 (cf. Figure 4b ) pushed out so that the upper latching element 44 pivots about the axis of rotation 27.
- the cover flap 20 is removed and, by folding both ends 63, 63 '( Fig. 2 ) is used again until the lower locking element 43 engages in the recess 61 and the stop element 45 strikes against the stop surface 46.
- the cover flap 20 is first removed.
- the guide carriages 41, 42 and in particular also a screw 37 serving as adjusting elements 28 are then freely accessible and can be loosened.
- the screw connections only have to be loosened so far that there is no longer a clamp connection and the guide carriages can be moved in the X and Y directions (cf. Fig. 5 ).
- the screw 37 is inserted into the nut 38 through the elongated hole 33 of the cover 36, the bore 29 of the first guide carriage 41 and the elongated hole 35 of the second guide carriage 42.
- the adjustment element 28 screw 37 with nut 38
- the adjustment element 28 is tightened until the guide carriage 41; 42 with the support body 53 a clamping connection 40 (cf. Fig. 10 ) train.

Description
The invention relates to a superstructure for a drain located in the floor area of a washing or shower area, which is to be built into a wall element and has the features of the preamble of claim 1.
The superstructure structure comprises a cover box to be placed over the drain with a preferably closed rear wall, a ceiling wall and side walls connecting them. The cover box has an underside which is open towards the drain and a front side which is open towards the interior of the washing or shower area for receiving a plate-shaped cover flap of the superstructure.
The cover flap has a first visible surface pointing outward in direction (R1), a second visible surface pointing inward in direction (R2) and a lower edge and, when installed, is oriented approximately perpendicular to a floor surface of the washing or shower area and is arranged in such a way that a drainage slot remains below the lower edge. The cover flap and the cover box are detachably coupled to one another via a suspension of the superstructure. The cover flap is movable about an axis of rotation. Compatible guide elements are provided on the side walls of the cover box or on the cover flap, each of which is arranged in a plane perpendicular to the rear wall and / or top wall of the cover box and can be fixed to the cover box or on the cover flap with an adjustment element of the superstructure. The suspension can be displaced via the first guide element in a direction perpendicular to the top wall and via the second guide element in a direction perpendicular to the rear wall. The position of the cover flap is thus compared to the cover box, both in terms of their distance from the top wall and in terms of their distance from the rear wall, can be predefined and fixed with the setting element.
Since the suspension hooks protrude relatively far beyond the visible surface of the cover flap, they have a certain elasticity that can impair exact alignment. In addition, the suspension point lies behind the center of gravity of the cover flap, so that the cover flap tends to be inclined in which its visible surface is not aligned with the surrounding wall. Finally, the adjustment is relatively complex overall and can cause undesirable dimensional differences and inaccuracies in the gap surrounding the cover flap.

The object of the invention is to propose a superstructure construction in which the adjustment and fixing of the cover flap in the desired position relative to the cover box is simplified. In addition, a problem-free attachment of the Cover flap can be guaranteed with the desired visible side without having to use tools.
The aforementioned object is achieved with a superstructure construction with the features of claim 1.
Further technically advantageous developments are described in the subclaims.
The adjustability of the cover flap with respect to the cover box, the wall element and at the same time the floor area of the washing or shower area is achieved by interlocking and displaceable guide elements forming a suspension. The distance between the cover flap and the rear wall of the cover box or the distance from the top wall of the cover box can be adjusted by means of the guide elements.
According to the invention, at least one guide element is designed in the form of a first guide carriage guided in the side wall of the cover box. Preferably, not only one guide element, but rather both guide elements are designed as guide carriages. The guide elements are preferably designed as flat guide carriages which can be displaced both in the direction of the rear wall and in the direction of the top wall of the cover box in a plane arranged perpendicular to the rear wall.
Put simply, the mentioned plane can be understood as an X-Y coordinate system in which one guide carriage can be moved in the Y direction and thus up and down and the other guide carriage in the X direction and thus forwards and backwards. One of the guide carriages has a holder for the cover flap. The cover flap can thus be suspended with its suspension hooks or bolts in the brackets provided on the guide carriage. When the cover flap is removed, the guide carriages are freely accessible and can easily be adjusted so that the suspension points are exactly in the desired position. If the suspension points are in the desired position, the guide carriages and thus the suspension points are fixed. As a result, the cover flap can then be installed and removed as often as required and always takes the same position when it is attached.
It can be provided that the first guide element serves to adjust the position of the cover flap with respect to the cover box with regard to its distance from the ceiling wall. In this case, a possibly provided second guide slide is preferably integrated into the first guide slide in such a way that the distance to the rear wall can be adjusted by means of the second guide slide.
Conversely, it can also be provided that the first guide element is used to adjust the position of the cover flap with respect to the rear wall. In this case it is used an optionally provided second guide carriage for aligning the distance to the top wall of the cover box.
It is of great advantage that the position adjustment can be carried out with the aid of a single adjustment element built into the side wall. A simple screw with a nut, for example, can serve as an adjusting element. The screw penetrates the two sliding guide carriages and couples them to the side wall of the cover box. It is particularly advantageous that the screw can be mounted in a slightly loosened position in the first step, so that both guide carriages are only loosely held in their guideways and can be freely displaced in the guides in the X and Y directions. The suspension point is then brought into the desired position by simply moving it back and forth, possibly supported by a stop template. Once this position has been established, the screw is tightened and the position of the guide carriage is fixed.
The side walls are preferably made of plastic as the support bodies carrying the suspension, for example as injection molded parts.
The cover plate preferably has two different visible surfaces, for example a ceramic and a metal visible surface. The cover plate can be provided on its narrow sides with latching and stop elements protruding in the direction of the side walls, which, on the one hand, enable the cover plate to rotate about an axis of rotation and, on the other hand, ensure its vertical, stable alignment, so that the cover plate used with a surface of the wall element, for example, tile covering can be in alignment.
The latching elements protruding over the narrow sides of the cover plate can be rigid or flexible. By means of the locking elements, the cover flap can be held securely in a desired position on the one hand and, on the other hand, easily dismantled if necessary, e.g. to clean the drainage channel located inside the superstructure element.
A rigid latching element can be formed, for example, by a rigid bolt protruding from the side surface of the cover flap. The latching function is implemented in this case in that the cover flap, which can be rotated about the axis of rotation of the suspension, makes contact with a bulge on the edge of a recess shortly before reaching its vertical end position. If the flap is rotated further, the bolt is guided along the bulge and the flap is raised a little. After overcoming the aforementioned bulge, the bolt engages in the depression behind the bulge due to gravity.
A flexible design of a locking element can be implemented in that the locking bolt is supported against a spring element in the direction of the narrow side and is thus linearly movable. As a counter bearing can be in the side wall of the cover box or in a Guide carriage be provided a bore. When the cover flap is rotated about the axis of rotation, the outer point of the flexible locking bolt is supported on the wall of the cover box until the position of the hole is reached and the end of the locking bolt engages in the hole due to the spring force.
The ends or narrow sides of the cover plate and their visible surfaces are preferably constructed with mirror symmetry to one another. Likewise, the side walls of the cover box with their guide carriages and setting elements are designed to be mirror-symmetrical to one another. This enables the visible surface to be changed easily by turning over and reinserting the cover plate in the suspension of the side walls.
