Description

Klappschachtel für Zigaretten
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel für Zigaretten oder andere längliche Gegenstände, bestehend aus einem Zuschnitt aus dünnem Karton oder ähnlichem Verpackungsmaterial zur Bildung von Schachtelteil und Deckel, der mit dem Schachtelteil im Bereich einer Schachtel-Rückwand schwenkbar ist, wobei der Schachtelteil aus Schachtel-Vorderwand, Schachtel-Rückwand, Bodenwand sowie zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Schachtel-Seitenwänden und der Deckel aus Deckel-Vorderwand, Deckel-Rückwand, Stirnwand und mit den Schachtel-Seitenwänden korrespondierenden Deckel-Seitenwänden besteht. Weiterhin bezieht sich die Erfindung auf die Ausgestaltung eines Zuschnitts für eine Klappschachtel.
Klappschachteln sind seit langer Zeit eine standardmäßige, weltweit verbreitete Verpackung für Zigaretten. Der Packungsinhalt, eine Zigarettengruppe, ist üblicherweise von einem Innenzuschnitt (Stanniol/Papier) umgeben. Der so ausgebildete Zigarettenblbck bildet den Packungsinhalt. Die Klappschachtel selbst ist üblicherweise mit einem Kragen versehen, der meistens aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt besteht und im Schachtelteil verankert ist.
Überwiegend sind Klappschachteln quaderförmig ausgebildet mit rechteckigem Querschnitt und rechtwinkligen aufrechten Packungskanten. Zur Anpassung an die Form des Packungsinhalts, nämlich an die runden Zigaretten, sind bereits Packungsformen mit achteckigem Querschnitt bzw. mit abgerundeten aufrechten Packungskanten vorgeschlagen worden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine neue Form bzw. Gestaltung einer Klapp- schachte! für insbesondere Zigaretten vorzuschlagen, die eine verbesserte Anpassung an den Packungsinhalt gewährleistet und darüber hinaus im Gebrauch leicht zu handhaben ist.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass wenigstens eine der Schachtel-Seitenwände und korrespondierend der zugeordneten Deckel-Seitenwand aus zwei unter einem (stumpfen) Winkel zueinander gerichteten Wandschenkeln besteht. Vorzugsweise ist die Packung symmetrisch ausgebildet, also mit übereinstimmenden Seitenwänden, die jeweils einen dachförmigen, symmetrischen Querschnitt aufweisen mit einer Packungskante in einer gedachten mitt- leren Querebene der Packung und Wandschenkeln gleicher Breite.
Der im Übrigen in üblicher Weise ausgebildete Kragen ist an die Kontur der Klappschachtel angepasst, weist demnach im Bereich von Kragen-Seitenlappen eine dachförmige Abwinklung auf unter Bildung von zwei unter einem Winkel zueinander gerichte- ten Lappenschenkeln.
Gemäß einem weiteren Vorschlag der Erfindung können einzelne oder alle aufrechten Packungskanten abgerundet sein unter Anpassung an die Kontur der Zigaretten bzw. der Zigarettengruppe. Im günstigsten Falle sind alle (sechs) aufrechten Packungskanten gerundet einschließlich der korrespondierenden Kanten des Kragens.
Eine weitere Besonderheit besteht darin, dass Schachtel-Seitenlappen bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen zur Bildung der Seitenwände nur teilweise einander überdecken, nämlich im Bereich eines Wandschenkels, also jeweils bis zur mittleren Packungskante der Seiten- wand aufgrund eines schmalen innneren Seitenlappens. Weiterhin sind in besonderer Weise Ecklappen, nämlich Boden-Ecklappen und Stirn-Ecklappen gestaltet.
Weitere Merkmale und Einzelheiten der erfindungsgemäßen Klappschachtel sowie der Zuschnitte zum Herstellen derselben werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen nä- her erläutert. Es zeigt:

Eine Klappschachtel besteht im grundsätzlichen Aufbau aus einem (unteren) Schachtelteil 13 und einem Deckel 14. Der Deckel 14 ist über ein Gelenk 15 schwenkbar mit dem Schachtelteil 13 verbunden. Der Schachtelteil 13 besteht aus Schachtel-Vorderwand 16, Schachtel-Rückwand 17, schmalen Schachtel-Seitenwänden 18, 19 sowie aus einer unteren Bodenwand 20. Entsprechend besteht der Deckel aus Deckel-Vorderwand 21, Deckel-Rückwand 22, Deckel-Seitenwänden 23, 24 und einer Stirnwand 25. Das Gelenk 15 verbindet Deckel-Rückwand 22 mit Schachtel-Rückwand 17.
Zu einer Klappschachtel gehört weiterhin ein Kragen 26. Dieser besteht hier aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt (zum Beispiel Fig. 4). Der Kragen 26 bildet eine Kragen-Vorder- wand 27 und Kragen-Lappen 28. Der Kragen 26 ist innerhalb des Schachtelteils 13 fixiert (durch Klebung), derart, dass ein oberer Teilbereich aus dem Schachtelteil 13 herausragt und bei geschlossener Klappschachtel vom Deckel 14 umfasst ist.
Eine Besonderheit der vorliegenden Klappschachtel besteht darin, dass diese in der Querschnittsform durch entsprechende Gestaltung der Seitenwände 18, 19; 23, 24 an die Kontur des Packungsinhalts, nämlich an die Form der Zigarettengruppe 11 , ange- passt ist. Die Seitenwände des Schachtelteils 13 und des Deckels 14 sind zu diesem Zweck im Wesentlichen dachförmig ausgebildet, jedenfalls mit zwei unter einem (stumpfen) Winkel zueinander gerichteten Wandschenkeln 29, 30. In der konkreten Aus- führung bestehen die Seitenwände aus zwei gleich großen unter einem stumpfen Winkel zueinander gerichteten, also keilförmig oder dachförmig ausgebildeten Wandschenkeln 29, 30.
Das Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 ist in den Konturen scharfkantig aus- gebildet. Die Seitenwände 18, 19; 23, 24 bilden in einer gedachten mittleren Querebene der Klappschachtel eine nach außen gerichtete Mittelkante 35. In deren Bereich laufen die beiden Wandschenkel 29, 30 zusammen. Vorzugsweise sind die beiden Wandschenkel unter einem (Innen-) Winkel von (etwa) 120° gerichtet. Weiterhin wird eine opti- male Packungsgestalt dadurch geschaffen, dass auch die beiden (lnnen-)Winkel zwischen den Wandschenkeln 29, 30 einerseits und Vorderwand bzw. Rückwand der Packung andererseits (etwa) 120° betragen.
Die Schachtel-Seitenwände 18, 19 sowie die Kragen-Seitenwände 23, 24 bestehen aus Seitenlappen 31, 32 bzw. entsprechenden Deckel-Seitenlappen 33, 34. Diese liegen bei fertiger Klappschachtel aneinander und sind durch Kleben oder thermisches Siegeln miteinander verbunden.
Bei der vorliegenden Klappschachtel erstreckt sich der äußere Seitenlappen 31 und ebenso der äußere Deckel-Seitenlappen 33 über die volle Breite der Packung bzw. der Seitenwände 18, 19; 23, 24. Dieser äußere Seitenlappen 31 bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen 33 ist zu diesem Zweck mit einer (annähernd) mittig verlaufenden Faltlinie versehen zur Bildung der Mittelkante 35. Der innenliegende Seitenlappen 32 bzw. Deckel-Seitenlap- pen 34 hat eine deutlich geringere Breite als der äußere Seitenlappen 31 bzw. Deckel- Seitenlappen 33. Wie insbesondere aus Fig. 14 ersichtlich, erstrecken sich die inneren Seitenlappen lediglich im Bereich eines zugekehrten Wandschenkels 29 der äußeren Seitenlappen, nämlich etwa bis zur Mittelkante 35. In diesem Bereich sind die inneren und äußeren Seitenlappen miteinander verbunden.
Der Zuschnitt (Fig. 3) ist entsprechend der Kontur der Klappschachtel in besonderer Weise gestaltet. Wie üblich sind Schachtel- Vorderwand 16, Bodenwand 20, Schachtel- Rückwand 17, Deckel-Rückwand 22, Stirnwand 25 und Deckel- Vorderwand 21 als Einheit aufeinanderfolgend innerhalb des Zuschnitts positioniert. Die äußeren Seitenlappen 31 sind an der Schachtel-Vorderwand 16, die äußeren Deckel-Seitenlappen 33 entsprechend an der Deckel-Vorderwand 21 und die (schmalen) Seitenlappen 32 bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen 34 an Schachtel-Rückwand 17 bzw. Deckel-Rückwand 22 seitlich angebracht. An der freien Seite der Deckel-Vorderwand 21 befindet sich ein Deckel- Innenlappen 37, der bei der Klappschachtel gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorder- wand 21 gefaltet ist.
Bodenwand 20 und Stirnwand 25 sind an die Kontur der Klappschachtel angepasst, nämlich mit dachförmigen Seitenkanten 38 ausgebildet. Diese stoßen gegen obere bzw. untere Randbereiche der Deckel-Seitenwände 23, 24 einerseits und der Schachtel-Seitenwände 18, 19 andererseits, und zwar unter formschlüssiger Anlage.
Besonders ausgebildet sind Ecklappen, nämlich Boden-Ecklappen 39 und Deckel-Eck- läppen 40. Diese sind als Verlängerung der inneren Seitenlappen 32 einerseits und der inneren Deckel-Seitenlappen 34 andererseits vorgesehen. Die Ecklappen 39, 40 sind trapezförmig ausgebildet unter Anpassung an die Außenkontur der Seitenlappen 32, 34 und an die Kontur von Bodenwand 20 und Stirnwand 25. Die Ecklappen 39, 40 sind jeweils durch einen schräggerichteten Stanzschnitt 41 von Bodenwand 20 bzw. Stirnwand 25 getrennt. Die Ecklappen 39, 40 erstrecken sich demnach nur über die halbe Breite der zugeordneten Bodenwand 20 bzw. Stirnwand 25. Bei der fertigen Klappschachtel (Fig. 1) liegen die Ecklappen 39, 40 in einer schräggerichteten Stellung an der Innenseite von Bodenwand 20 bzw. Stirnwand 25 an und sind mit diesen verbunden.
Der Kragen 26 ist an die Querschnittskontur der Klappschachtel angepasst. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Kragen-Lappen 28 mit einer Zwischenkante 42 versehen, die im Bereich der Mittelkante 35 der Seitenwände liegt. Die Zwischenkante 42 ist durch eine entsprechende Faltlinie im Bereich der Kragen-Lappen 28 (Fig. 4) vorgeformt.
Die geometrische Gestalt der Klappschachtel ermöglicht eine besondere Formation der Zigarettengruppe 11. Wie aus Fig. 14 bis Fig. 17 ersichtlich, sind die Zigaretten 10 in drei Reihen 43, 44, 45 angeordnet. Die Zigaretten 10 benachbarter Reihen 43, 44, 45 sind versetzt zueinander positioniert (sogenannte Sattellage). Die mittlere Reihe 44 hat eine größere Anzahl von Zigaretten 10, nämlich zum Beispiel acht Zigaretten 10, und die bei- den äußeren Reihen 43, 45 weisen sieben Zigaretten 10 auf. Es ergibt sich dadurch ein Packungsinhalt, nämlich ein Zigarettenblock, der sich optimal an die Querschnittskontur der Packung anpasst. Auch die Innenumhüllung 12 folgt dieser Kontur von Packung und Packungsinhalt (Fig. 14).
Eine oben gebildete besondere Stirnfaltung der Innenumhüllung 12 besteht im Bereich von Schachtel-Vorderwand 16 aus einem trapezförmigen äußeren Längslappen 46 und benachbart zur Schachtel-Rückwand 17 aus einem entsprechend trapezförmig ausgebildeten inneren Längslappen 47. Im Bereich der Schachtel-Seitenwände 18, 19 bildet die Innenumhüllung 12 eine übliche Überlappung 48. Die Innenumhüllung 12 ist hier unter Bildung von zwei einander teilweise überdeckenden Eck-Zwickeln 49, 50 gefaltet. Diese werden jeweils von den ebenfalls dachförmig zueinander ausgerichteten Seitenbereichen der Innenumhüllung 12 innen gegen die Endflächen der Zigaretten 10 umge- faltet (Fig. 14).
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 5 bis Fig. 8 ist die Mittelkante im Bereich der Seitenwände 18, 19 bzw. 23, 24 unter Anpassung an die Kontur und Abmessung einer Zigarette 10 als Rundkante bzw. als Mittelrundung 51 ausgebildet. Die Packung bzw. die Seitenwände schmiegen sich in diesem Bereich an die Form der Zigarette 10 an, und zwar an die im Bereich der mittleren Reihe 44 jeweils außenliegende Zigarette. Aufrechte Packungskanten 52, 53 im Bereich des Übergangs der Seitenwände 18, 19 bzw. 23, 24 in Vorderwand und Rückwand sind bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel winklig bzw. kantig ausgebildet mit einem (Innen-) Winkel von etwa 120°.
Der Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 7 ist an diese Packungsform angepasst. Zur Bildung der Mittelrundungen 51 im Bereich von Schachtelteil 13 und Deckel 14 sind die Seitenlappen 31 und Deckel-Seitenlappen 33 mit Prägungen zur Bildung der Rundungen versehen, nämlich jeweils mit einer Gruppe von parallelen, eingeprägten Rillen 54. Entsprechend ist der Kragen 26 gemäß Fig. 8 ausgebildet, nämlich ebenfalls mit einer Gruppe von Rillen 54 an Stelle der Zwischenkante 42. Der Kragen 26 fügt sich demnach im Bereich der Kragen-Lappen 28 an die Mittelrundungen 51 von Schachtelteil 13 und Deckel 14 an.
Bodenwand 20 und Stirnwand 25 sind an die Querschnittskontur der Packung angepasst und weisen an Schmalseiten zungenartige Vorsprünge 55 auf mit einer gerundeten Spitze passend zu der Mittelrundung 51.
Die Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 9 bis Fig. 12 ist auch im Bereich der Packungskanten an die Kontur des Packungsinhalts angepasst, und zwar durch Eck-Rundungen 56, 57 als Übergang zwischen den Seitenwänden 18, 19 bzw. 23, 24 einerseits und den Vorderwänden 16, 21 bzw. Rückwänden 17, 22 andererseits. Der Zuschnitt für diesen Packungstyp ist entsprechend ausgebildet (Fig. 11). Die äußeren Seitenlappen 31 des Schachtelteils 13 und entsprechend die äußeren Deckel-Seitenlappen sind mit zwei Rill- gruppen 58, 59 versehen, je aus einer Mehrzahl von parallelen Rillen. Die Rillgruppen 58 dienen zur Bildung der Eck-Rundungen 56 an der Vorderseite der Packung und die Rillgruppe 59 zur Bildung der Mittelrundung 51.
Zur Bildung der rückseitigen Eck-Rundungen 57 sind Rillgruppen 60 im Bereich von Schachtel-Rückwand 17 bzw. Deckel-Rückwand 22 gebildet, und zwar jeweils etwa in Verlängerung der Rillgruppen 58. Bodenwand 20 und Stirnwand 25 sind entsprechend der Kontur der Packung so ausgebildet, dass die zungenartigen Vorsprünge 55 mittige Rundungen entsprechend den Mittelrundungen 51 aufweisen und darüber hinaus mit Randrundungen 61 in den Zuschnitt übergehen, passend zu den Eck-Rundungen 56, 57.
Die Ecklappen, nämlich Boden-Ecklappen 39 und Deckel-Ecklappen 40, sind abweichend von den vorstehend beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispielen durch einen schlitz- förmigen Zwischenraum 62 von Bodenwand 20 und Stirnwand 25 abgegrenzt, so dass die Ecklappen 39, 40 kleine, trapezförmige Gebilde sind.
Hinsichtlich der Dimensionierung der inneren Seitenlappen 32 und Deckel-Seitenlappen 34 unterscheiden sich die drei Ausführungsbeispiele voneinander. Bei dem Ausfüh- rungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis 4 bzw. Fig. 15 erstreckt sich der innere Seitenlappen 32 bzw. 34 bis in die Mittelkante 35, die hinsichtlich der exakten Positionierung der Seitenlappen 32, 34 eine justierende Wirkung ausübt. Bei den Ausführungsbeispielen gemäß Fig. 16 und Fig. 17 sind die Seitenlappen 32, 34 mit geringerer Breite ausgebildet, derart, dass sie außerhalb des Bereichs der Mittelrundungen 51 enden.
Analog gilt für die äußeren Seitenlappen 31, 33, dass sich diese bei den Ausführungsbeispielen gemäß Fig. 15 und Fig. 16 annähernd bis zu den benachbarten Packungskanten 52 erstrecken, während diese Lappen bei dem Beispiel gemäß Fig. 15 außerhalb des Bereichs der Eck-Rundung 57 enden. Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Klappschachtel für Zigaretten (10) oder andere längliche Gegenstände, bestehend aus einem Zuschnitt aus dünnem Karton oder ähnlichem Verpackungsmaterial zur Bildung von Schachtelteil (13) und Deckel (14), der mit dem Schachtelteil (13) im Bereich einer Schachtel-Rückwand (17) schwenkbar verbunden ist, wobei der Schachtelteil (13) aus Schachtel-Vorderwand (16), Schachtel-Rückwand (17), Bodenwand (20) sowie zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Schachtel-Seitenwänden (18, 19) und der Deckel (14) aus Deckel-Vorderwand (21), Deckel-Rückwand (22), Stirnwand (25) und zwei in Schließstellung an die Schachtel-Seitenwände (18, 19) anschließenden Deckel-Seitenwänden (23, 24) besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens eine der Schachtel-Seiten- wände (18, 19) und korrespondierend der zugeordneten Deckel-Seitenwände (23, 24) aus zwei unter einem (stumpfen) Winkel zueinander gerichteten Wandschenkeln (29, 30) besteht.
2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Wandschenkel (29, 30) einer Seitenwand (18, 19; 23, 24) gleiche Breite aufweisen,, derart, dass die Seitenwände (18, 19; 23, 24) im Querschnitt dachförmig symmetrisch ausgebildet sind mit einer Mittelkante (35) bzw. Mittelrundung (51) in einer gedachten mittleren Querebene der Packung.
3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens die Mittelkante (35) der Seitenwände (18, 19; 23, 24) gerundet ist unter Anpassung an die Abmessung einer Zigarette, derart, dass eine Mittelrundung (51) gebildet ist.
4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittelkante (35) der Seitenwände (18, 19; 23, 24) und/oder
Packungskanten (52, 53) als Übergang zwischen den Seitenwänden (18, 19; 23, 24) einerseits und Schachtel-Vorderwand (16) oder Schachtel-Rückwand (17) bzw. Deckel- Vorderwand (21) oder Deckel-Rückwand (22) andererseits gerundet sind unter Bildung von Eck-Rundungen (56, 57) unter Anpassung an die Form einer Zigarette (10).
5. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Bodenwand (20) und Stirnwand (25) an die Querschnittskontur der Klappschachtel angepasst sind und im Bereich von Schachtet-Seitenwänden (18, 19) bzw. Deckel-Seitenwänden (23, 24) dachförmige bzw. keilförmige Vorsprünge bilden, insbesondere mit Rundungen und dass Bodenwand (20) und Stirnwand (25) formschlüssig an die Seitenwände (18, 19; 23, 24) anschließen.

Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Schachtel-Seitenwände (18, 19) sowie Deckel-Seitenwände (23, 24) aus einander teilweise überdeckenden äußeren Seitenlappen (31) bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen (33) sowie inneren Seitenlappen (32) und Deckel-Seitenlappen (34) gebildet sind, wobei die innenliegenden Seitenlappen (32, 34) sich lediglich im Bereich eines zugeordneten Wandschenkels (29, 30) der betreffenden Seitenwand (18, 19; 23, 24) erstrecken.
7. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei Ausbil- düng der Seitenwände (18, 19; 23, 24) mit Mittelkante (35) die inneren Seitenlappen (32,
34) sich bis zur Mittelkante (35) erstrecken und an dieser ausgerichtet sind.
8. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei Seitenwänden (18, 19; 23, 24) mit Mittelrundung (51) die inneren Seitenlappen (32, 34) sich lediglich im Bereich eines zugeordneten Wandschenkels (29, 30) bis zum Randbereich der Mittelrundung (51) erstrecken.
9. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Ecklappen, nämlich Boden-Ecklappen (39) und/oder Deckel-Eck- läppen (40) lediglich im Bereich der inneren Seitenlappen (32, 34) an diesen angebracht sind und sich in Schrägstellung an der Innenseite von Bodenwand (20) bzw. Stirnwand (25) erstrecken, vorzugsweise bei trapezförmiger Ausgestaltung entsprechend der Kontur der angrenzenden Bodenwand (20) bzw. Stirnwand (25).
10. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Packungsinhalt eine Zigarettengruppe (11) vorgesehen ist, die aus drei Reihen (43, 44, 45) von Zigaretten besteht, mit versetzter Lage der Zigaret- ten von Reihe zu Reihe, wobei die mittlere Reihe (44) jeweils eine Zigarette (10) mehr aufweist als die beiden äußeren Reihen (43 und 45).
