Definitions

  • the invention relates to a motor vehicle door with a removable outer door skin and with a door body, the inner door skin of which has an opening that can be closed by a module carrier.
  • the invention can be used particularly advantageously if, on the one hand, the guide rail of a cable window lifter and, on the other hand, a door interior trim are pre-assembled on the module carrier.
  • a motor vehicle door with a box-shaped door body formed from a door inner skin is known, the base surface of the door inner skin having an assembly opening which can be closed by a support module connected to a window lifter.
  • the door body is completed by connecting the outer door skin and the inner skin of the door and by fastening the inner door trim.
  • the disadvantage here is that the components that are assigned to the door lining - such as electrical switches, tweeters or electronic control devices - cannot be combined with the components assigned to the door cavity - for example an electrically operated window regulator or lock - to form a highly integrated functional module. This would result in the advantage of a more complete system being able to be pre-tested, so that any errors in the interaction of the individual components would be recognizable even before the vehicle door was assembled.
  • a module carrier with a very high degree of integration is described in DE 195 09 282 A1.
  • On the two sides of a base plate practically all functional components of the door, in particular window regulator mechanism with drive unit, lock, electronic control with switch, inside opener with power transmission elements, loudspeaker and wiring harness, have been removed.
  • at least part of the door lining is also part of the module.
  • fastening points are provided along the edge of the base plate, which are then covered by clipable frame elements.
  • the disadvantage of this proposed solution is the need to provide additional design elements to conceal the fastening points.
  • the window panes which are becoming ever larger in relation to the door height, place increasing demands on the lifting height to be provided by the window lifter; i.e. that the guide rails of a cable window lifter are often significantly longer than the corresponding height of the cutout in the inner skin of the door that is to be covered by the module carrier.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of developing a motor vehicle door of the generic type which allows the formation of a highly integrated functional module as well as a comparatively large stroke range for the window pane both with a door panel mounted on a carrier plate and at the same time is easy to assemble.
  • the object is achieved by the features of patent claim 1.
  • the dependent claims represent preferred variants of the invention.
  • the upper or lower fastening area of the guide rail which serves for pre-assembly on the module carrier, is designed as a pivot bearing, the pivot axis running essentially horizontally and parallel to the door plane.
  • the guide rail of the cable window lifter is pivoted transversely to the door plane until it can pass through the assembly opening.
  • the upper edge of the door lining is hung into the parapet in the area of the shaft opening at the same time or only after the module carrier has been put on.
  • the parts of the pivot bearing on the module carrier side are integral parts of a module carrier made of plastic, as a result of which tight tolerances are ensured and additional handling and assembly effort is eliminated.
  • the advantages mentioned can also be achieved with regard to the parts of the pivot bearing on the guide rail side if they are designed as one-piece components of a guide rail made of plastic or of a cable deflection made of plastic and connectable to the guide rail. If the swivel bearing is made sufficiently stable, the swivel bearing can also take over the function of a conventional fastening point at which the connection to the module carrier is established by screws or rivets, thus further reducing the assembly effort.
  • the parts of the pivot bearing on the module carrier are also possible within the scope of the invention to design the parts of the pivot bearing on the module carrier as a separate unit and then to connect them to the module carrier.
  • This can be advantageous if the plastic module carrier should only have very simple contours to avoid expensive injection molds (the same applies to a module carrier produced by metal injection molding) or if the module carrier is to be produced from a metal sheet.
  • a particularly simple assembly is ensured by a swivel bearing, which on the one hand (e.g. on the module carrier) forms a bearing bush area which has a radial opening with respect to the swivel axis with a reduced width compared to the bearing bush diameter.
  • a e.g. bearing pins assigned to the guide rail are inserted with opposite flattened sides, so that the bearing pin is narrower in this area and deviates from the cylindrical bearing contour.
  • the width of the bearing pin between these flattened sides has approximately the width of the radially directed opening of the bearing bush.
  • the radial opening of the bearing bush expediently points upwards.
  • the flattened sides of the bearing pin are arranged with respect to the guide rail such that they run transversely, preferably orthogonally, to the orientation of the opening when the guide rail is in its use position, so that the guide rail is secured in the pivot bearing. This means that the guide rail can only be mounted or removed at an angle to the module carrier.
  • the pivot bearing can form the end of a cable deflection which can be connected to the guide rail or the end of the guide rail itself.
  • the pivot bearing can be arranged at a distance from the upper edge of the cable deflection or the guide rail.
  • sufficient clearance should be provided in the module carrier so that when the guide rail is pivoted around the angular range necessary for the assembly of the modular system, the end of the guide rail on the pivot bearing side or the corresponding cable deflection does not strike the module carrier.
  • a suitable bulge in the wall of the module carrier is suitable for this (if wet / dry room separation is provided in the door).
  • the pivot bearing serves primarily for the pre-assembly of the guide rail on the module carrier; the adjusting forces of the window pane are absorbed by a separate fastening element that fixes the guide rail to the inside of the door.
  • the fastening axis of the fastening point of the guide rail preferably runs through the cable deflection; in the case of using a rope pulley, its axis of rotation should be identical to the attachment axis.
  • a so-called transport lock which holds the pivotable guide rail in a defined position before the module carrier is installed, can ensure that the guide rails do not perform uncontrolled movements when handling the module system.
  • a transport lock should preferably be provided at a distance from the swivel bearing, preferably in the area of the other cable deflection, and e.g. be designed in the form of a clip connection.
