Definitions
- the invention relates to a sawtooth wire for a Walzengamitur a fiber-processing machine, in particular a carding, extending in the longitudinal direction of the sawtooth tooth root and a plurality of longitudinally of the sawtooth wire successively arranged teeth, each of which by an angle (breast angle (BW)) inclined tooth face and with respect to the longitudinal direction of the sawtooth wire at an angle (back angle (RW)) inclined tooth back, wherein the imaginary extension of the tooth face and tooth back converge to a tooth tip.
- BW tilt angle
- RW back angle
- Such shege leoparddrumblete be used for sets of cards, carding and the like.
- the sawtooth wires are wound side by side on the roller and form a so-called.
- Stgeyakdrahtgamitur in which the teeth are all oriented in one direction.
- the tooth face runs ahead.
- the back of the teeth runs ahead.
- the transfer between the fast-running tambour and the slow-moving customer is effected by the fact that the fibers are pushed from the tambur into the shege leoparddrahtgarnitur the customer.
- the invention is based on the object, in particular for such customer rolls or compression rolls, in which the fibers are passed over the tooth back on a slower-moving roller to provide a sawtooth available, with the transfer of the fibers is improved.
- the back of the tooth is formed in a straight line.
- the back of the tooth and the tooth face thus converge in a straight line from the root of the tooth and meet in the tooth tip.
- the large breast angle on a doffer roll is desirable since, as the fibers take over, the accepting roll can better absorb the fibers.
- the solution according to the invention allows the realization of a large breast angle to better take over the fibers at the same time large back angle for a better transfer of the fibers to the subsequent slowly running compression roll.
- the solution according to the invention can be implemented particularly simply if the tooth back has at least one kink.
- the back of the tooth can thus have from the tooth root to the kink a back angle that corresponds to a conventional sawtooth. From the kink to the tip of the back angle is greater, however, so that this upper part of the tooth back does not meet in the tooth tip on the tooth face. It has proved to be favorable if the kink is at least about 2/3 of the tooth height. However, the range of about 2/3 of the tooth height may be preferred. In this way, a sufficiently high stability of the tooth is achieved with simultaneously improved functionality in the transfer of the fibers to the next roll.
- the increase of the inclination angle (from RW1 to RW2) can amount to at least 10%.
- the ratio of the two angles of inclination of the backs of the teeth is about 3: 2.
- the invention has an effect on sawtooth wires, in which the angle of inclination of the tooth face ⁇ 40 ° is preferably ⁇ 45 °.
- the angle of inclination of the tooth back from the kink to the tooth tip is at least 36 °, preferably at least 40 °.
- the invention further relates to a garnished with a sawtooth wire roller according to the invention, in particular a doffer or compression roll, a card or carding.
- Fig. 1 the main elements of a card or carding are shown.
- This is the tambur 1, which normally operates at a peripheral speed of 800-1500 m / min, which rotates in the clockwise direction, and the downstream pickup 2, which rotates counterclockwise at a peripheral speed of usually 60-300 m / min ,
- Downstream of the pickup 2 is a first compression roller 3, which rotates clockwise and has a peripheral speed, which is usually between about 50-80% of the peripheral speed of the pickup 2.
- Behind the first compression roller 3 is a second compression roller 4, which rotates counterclockwise at a peripheral speed of 60-90% of the peripheral speed of the first compression roller 3.
- the tooth position of the individual rollers will be explained in more detail below with reference to the fiber flow shown in FIG.
- the tambour 1 has a presege leoparddrahtgarnitur in which the tooth face has in the direction of rotation.
- the fibers are taken through the tooth face of the clothing and transferred to the customer 2.
- This has a presege leoparddrahtgarnitur in which the tooth back 5 points in the direction of rotation, while the tooth face 6 of the tooth face of the sawtooth gambit of the tambur 1 faces.
- the fiber transfer between the tambour and customer 2 is effected in that the fibers are penetrated by the shege leoparddrahtgarnitur the tambur in the formed by the tooth face 6 of the shege leoparddrahtgarnitur the slower moving consumer pockets.
- Fig. 2 the sawtooth wire of the set of the pickup 2 of FIG. 1 is shown by way of example.
- the clothing of the first compression roll 3 can be formed.
- the embodiment of the sawtooth wire shown in Fig. 2 and described below is suitable for trimmings as such rollers, in which the takeover of the fibers from a faster-running roller and the transfer to a slower-moving roller takes place.
- the direction of movement of the clothing is indicated in Fig. 2 by the arrow 7.
- the sawtooth wire shown there has a sawtooth base 9 extending in the longitudinal direction 8 of the wire and a multiplicity of teeth 10 arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction 8 of the sawtooth wire. All teeth have a tooth face 6 and a tooth back 5, wherein the imaginary extensions of the tooth back 5 and the associated tooth face 6 meet in one point, namely the tooth tip 11.
- the tooth face 6 is inclined forward; it forms a pocket with the adjacent tooth back.
- BW is the angle of the breast and is measured between the tooth face 6 and an imaginary perpendicular to the tooth root 9.
- RW denotes the back angle and is measured between the back 5 of a tooth and an imaginary horizontal line connecting the tips 11 of the individual teeth.
- the tooth back 5 of the teeth 10 has a kink 12, approximately in 2/3 of the height of the respective teeth 10.
- the tooth back 5 extends from the tooth base 13 to the kink 12 in a straight line.
- the back angle of this portion of the tooth back is referred to as RW 1 and is 30 ° in the embodiment shown here.
- RW 2 From the kink to the tooth tip or the tooth tips 11 interconnecting imaginary line is the associated back angle designated RW 2 and is 70 °.
- RW 2 From the kink to the tooth tip or the tooth tips 11 interconnecting imaginary line is the associated back angle designated RW 2 and is 70 °.
- the tooth form deviates considerably from the previously customary tooth form, as indicated by the dashed line 14 in the right-hand tooth in FIG. 1.
- the back of the teeth 5 is significantly steeper at the top. In the embodiment shown here, the breast angle is 40 °.
- the tooth shape shown in Fig. 2 shows that the back angle in the upper region of the teeth 10 is independent of the breast angle BW.
- this tooth shape simultaneously allows a large breast angle but also to realize a large back angle.
- the great Chest angle facilitates fiber takeover from a faster moving roller, while the large back angle facilitates transfer of the fibers to a slower moving roller because the steeper back edge better fits the fibers into the trim of the subsequent slower running roller.

Description
US 6 035 493 A ).
- Fig. 1
