Claims (11)

Drehturm, insbesondere zur Verwendung in Stranggießanlagen und für Gießpfannen und / oder Verteilerrinnen, mit einer auf einem Fundament angeordneten, sockelartigen Stützkonstruktion, auf der ein oder mehrere Schwenkarme mit Aufnahmemitteln mittels einer Rollendrehverbindung oder einer Kugeldrehverbindung gelagert sind und mittels eines Drehantriebs in Schwenkstellungen drehbar sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Drehantrieb (7) mit seiner Wirkachse (8) auf der senkrechten Mittelachse (9) senkrecht nach unten oder nach oben gerichtet zur Rollendrehverbindung (6) im Innern (3a) der Stützkonstruktion (3) angeordnet ist und dass das Antriebselement (10) das Drehmoment auf einen diametral und horizontal verlaufenden, unmittelbar oberhalb der Rollendrehverbindung (6) angeordneten Mitnehmerarm (11) überträgt, der zumindest einendig an den drehbaren Oberteil (1a) angeschlossen ist.
