Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operating a dishwasher according to the preamble of claim 1 and a dishwasher, according to the inventive method is operated.
- Pre-rinsing is mainly a soaking of firmly adhering Dirt particles on the wash ware and mechanical cleaning easily removable contaminants from the wash ware.
- This stage of the process is generally not chemical Washing substances added to improve the prewash result.
- cleaning chemical washing substances are added, in this process section mainly cleaning the dishes from its adhering dirt particles.
- Intermediate rinsing removes residues of dirt particles and rinsing liquid residues with residues chemical washing substances from the cleaning process section.
- rinse aid should firstly Residues of washing substances during the program section Clean adhered to the wash ware, rinsed off become.
- rinse aid is known to be in the process section a chemical known as rinse aid added, which reduces the surface tension of the water and thus a better drainage of the adhering rinsing liquid on the wash ware.
- rinse aid added a chemical known as rinse aid added, which reduces the surface tension of the water and thus a better drainage of the adhering rinsing liquid on the wash ware.
- the drying section the water adhering to the wash ware and the residual moisture are removed removed the process liquid-carrying sections.
- EP 0 553 803 B1 describes a program sequence for cleaning freshly soiled washware known in a dishwasher, in the beginning two pre-rinse cycles with cold rinsing liquid immediately from two rinses with hot rinsing liquid be followed.
- This program flow is compared to the above-described programs, in which between Program sections with hot, d. H. by means of provided heating means heated rinsing liquid, those with cold, d. H. Switching fluid dependent on the supply temperature have an advantage from a purely energetic point of view.
- the dilution step is the one used for pre-rinsing Flushing liquid, which are contaminated to different degrees can, by feeding fresher, d. H. not polluted, Dishwashing liquid from the dishwasher's storage containers and / or the water supply line at least partially mixed with it. This results in a dilution of the contents in the dishwasher's washing container existing rinsing liquid with regard to their Contamination level.
- the diluted rinsing liquid has a lower degree of contamination and therefore has a better cleaning ability.
- Pre-rinsing for the rinsing liquid volume provided for the circulation is known to be about 4 1 for a dishwasher with space for 12 standard place settings. laboratory tests have shown that the cleaning result of the dishes is average is acceptable for all levels of pollution if the volume of the partially drained dirty washing liquid advantageously by an equal volume fresher, d. H. not soiled, rinsing liquid again is replenished.
- the duration of the pre-rinse program section is variably set. This can be done, for example, through user-specific selection the washing program depending on the degree of contamination of the set dishes, but also program-controlled depending various measurement parameters during the program run be recorded or in tables in a microprocessor are stored in a control device.
- the liquid level in the dishwasher which z. B. set to a pump speed of 1,900 rpm of a circulating pump laboratory tests have shown that it is with regard to good cleaning results it makes sense that a process section Pre-rinse with a dilution step at least longer than 10 minutes.
- the method section Pre-rinse by a dilution step or by complete Draining of the used rinsing liquid can be stopped.
- the former means that a partial volume of the rinsing liquid in the partly used the following program section cleaning again becomes what regarding the lowest possible water consumption is cheap.
- the pumping is complete the rinsing liquid used at the end of pre-rinsing, which is particularly the case with a high degree of contamination, e.g. B. due to a large amount of dirt particles, with regard to one particularly good cleaning result is useful.
- a Embodiment which is particularly for the most stubborn Soiling, e.g. B.
- the dilution step repeated several times during the pre-rinse and this with a complete pumping at the end of the process section Pre-rinse can be combined while at one low degree of contamination a dilution step, preferably at the end of the process section pre-rinsing is sufficient to to achieve a particularly good cleaning result.
- the rinsing liquid stays there and becomes finally pumped out completely or partially.
- the rinsing liquid is not circulated, so that the rinsing liquid is essentially coarse before being pumped out particles of dirt stuck in the sieve and now entrained during pumping, crushed and the fine sieve for filtering out of the rinsing liquid.
- the rinsing liquid supplied is only passively heated, d. H. there is no energy of the rinsing liquid, z. B.
- Temperature-controlled rinsing liquid is referred to below as lukewarm.
- the process section Sieve cleaning takes much less time than the preceding section of cleaning or the process thereon following rinse process section, because is energetic it is particularly beneficial to store residual energy for that Heating up the rinsing liquid in the following process section Use rinse aid.
- the volume of the supplied Flushing liquid is less than the maximum in each case existing volume of washing liquid in the dishwasher during of the process sections cleaning or rinsing, so that this means that the washing liquid stays in the dishwasher and thus the possibility of energy extraction, as well as the Total duration of this stage of the process is minimized in terms of reducing energy and water consumption, as already mentioned above, makes sense.
- the rinsing liquid temperature is essentially the temperature of the water inlet is dependent and is not activated by switching on the heating elements warmed up in the dishwasher.
- Rinsing liquid at least partially during the intermediate rinsing are used, so that in this section of the process Set wash ware with hot washing liquid becomes.
- the design of the temperature profile is in a lower temperature range essentially by the temperature of the water, of the inlet and in an upper area due to glass corrosion limited at approx. 65 ° C.
- this can Temperature profile can be designed differently, so that the Transitions from cold to lukewarm to hot via various intermediate stages the temperature is led.
- a dishwasher after at least one operated the method described above.
- a selection means for manual program selection according to an inventive Procedures should be provided that the operation after enables at least one of the proposed methods.
- the Selection by the user can also be made indirectly by the user Degree of contamination of the set items to be washed take place, so that a suitable one depending on at least one turbidity measurement Program selection is made.
- 1 to 4 are washing programs for the operation of each Household dishwasher set for cleaning purposes Washed goods shown.
- Fig. 1 the time is not drawn to scale on the ordinate, while on the one hand the rinse liquid volume and on the other hand the temperature is not drawn to scale.
- Curve A shows the course of the volume of the washing liquid in the dishwasher's washing container.
- the temperature profile of the rinsing liquid over time corresponds to the time profile of this curve A, which is shown in curve B.
- This is essentially determined by the temperature of the rinsing liquid as a result of heating by switching on the heating means provided, temperature changes due to the absorption and release of stored energy with the surroundings or the heat capacities of the dishwasher are only taken into account as a tendency.
- washing liquid is first fed to a washing tank until a predetermined volume of approximately 4 l is reached at time t 1 .
- This volume of rinsing liquid is circulated in the dishwasher at a temperature which essentially corresponds to the inlet temperature of the water, that is to say it is pressed from a sump via a feed line into spray arms and from there it is applied to the items to be washed.
- a point in time t 2 which can be chosen as desired during the pre-rinsing, the pumping-off of the volume of the rinsing liquid and thus a dilution step begins.
- the rinsing liquid volume is halved at a point in time t 3 , the end of pumping, and is refilled to the originally maximum rinsing liquid volume from a point in time t 4 , this state being reached at a point in time t 5 .
- the periods t 3 to t 4 (as well as t 7 to t 8 and t 11 to t 12 ) are dead times in relation to the volume of the rinsing liquid in the rinsing container, which are caused by the inflow of water or the filling of storage vessels outside the rinsing container with water.
- the temperature profile of the rinsing liquid is mainly dependent on the water temperature of the supply line during the pre-rinsing and is almost constant. After the end of pre-rinsing at time t 7 and an almost rinsing liquid-free time t 7 to t 8 of the rinsing container, after a dead time t 7 to t 8 fresh rinsing liquid with a maximum volume of approx. 4 l is again in the sump of the dishwasher in the period t 8 to t 9 for the cleaning process section. This rinsing liquid is heated from the water inlet temperature to approx. 45 to 55 ° C.
- the cleaning process stage is ended by a complete pumping out, with pumping off the heated washing-up liquid in a time period t 10 to t 11 , and energy consumption of the entire system in a section t 12 to t 13 when refilling with fresh washing-up liquid for the subsequent rinse aid must be compensated for by energy supply.
- the temperature of the rinsing liquid does not drop to the supply line temperature, since storage vessels in which the rinsing liquid has already been passively heated have been removed in the part of the rinsing liquid volume.
- the rinsing liquid heated to approx. 55 to 65 ° C. in the final rinse process section is also circulated in the time section t 13 to t 14 .
- a drying section of the process which does not carry the rinsing liquid and which is not shown here can follow the liquid-carrying process sections.
- the duration of the pre-rinsing is approx. 10 to 15 min, preferably 12 min, but can vary between approx. 10 to 20 min, whereby this section of the process should last significantly longer than conventional pre-rinsing programs which have a duration of approx. 4 to 5 min.
- the duration of the cleaning process section can be between 20 and 60 minutes and is preferably approximately 50 minutes in the exemplary embodiment.
- the duration of the final rinse process section varies between 10 and 25 minutes depending on the maximum rinse temperature provided.
- the duration of the cleaning and rinsing process sections is limited at least by the desired total duration of the washing program or by a desired maximum energy consumption. Since no energy has to be provided to preheat the rinsing liquid for the duration of the pre-rinsing, the duration of the prewash can be selected from any point of view from an energetic point of view, but is limited by a desired total duration of the rinsing program.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic course of a pre-rinse which contains two dilution steps, the scheme of the liquid volume of curve A and the temperature profile of curve B as shown in FIG. 1 being shown, the pre-rinsing from t 0 to t 6 being analogous to FIG Fig.
- FIG. 3 shows a pre-rinsing followed by cleaning analogous to FIG. 2 in the time period t 0 to t 11 .
- a process section for screen cleaning is interposed in the time period t 12 to t 15 .
- washing liquid is fed to the sump of the dishwasher in the time period t 12 to t 13 without the washing liquid being actively heated by switching on the heating means provided.
- the volume of the rinsing liquid is significantly less than the maximum volume in the rinsing container during pre-rinsing, cleaning and rinsing, and takes place until it reaches the level of the top sieve.
- the dwell time preferably being less than 2 min and likewise being significantly shorter than in the individual process sections pre-rinse, cleaning and rinsing
- the rinse liquid becomes complete in the time period t 14 to t 15 pumped out.
- the circulation pump is not in operation in the time period t 12 to t 15 , so that the wash ware is not subjected to wash liquid, and residues of wash liquid drip from the wash ware, the spray arm and in particular from the ceiling and walls of the washing container.
- the sieve cleaning process section is followed by a new filling of the sump with rinsing liquid to about 4 l, which is reheated and circulated in the rinsing container during rinsing.
- the temperature curve is similar to that of FIGS.
- FIG. 4 shows a schematic program sequence with successive program sections, pre-rinsing with a dilution step, cleaning, intermediate rinsing with a dilution step, rinsing.
- the pre-rinse and the cleaning section are designed analogously to FIG. 1 in the time period t 0 to t 11 .
- After pumping the rinsing liquid in the time period used in the process section cleaning t 10 to t 11 to time t 12 again rinsing the sump of the dishwasher supplied, which is in the time interval t 12 to t 15 in the washing passively heated.
- the rinsing liquid is refilled in the time period t 16 to t 17 , so that after a renewed dilution step in the period t 14 to t 17, a partial volume of the during of the intermediate rinsing liquid used in the following rinse cycle, which is diluted with fresh rinsing liquid.
- the dilution step is shown in dashed lines. Whether it is carried out can be determined by at least one result of a turbidity measurement.
- the intermediate rinsing program section shortens the duration of the cleaning and rinsing program sections, since energy supplied to the dishwasher is lost to the dishwasher system during the cleaning program section with the completely drained washing-up liquid at the end of this process section and the stored energy for passive heating of the rinsing liquid is almost used up in the intermediate rinsing process section.
- energy supplied to the system continues to be lost during the cleaning program section.
- the freshly supplied partial volume of rinsing liquid must be reheated during rinsing.
- the procedure with intermediate rinsing and additional dilution steps is therefore a compromise to achieve an improved washing result, while energy and water consumption are better coordinated.
- the intermediate rinsing prevents chemical residues from the cleaning program section, the dilution steps reduce water consumption compared to complete water changes.
- the volume of rinsing liquid that is to be pumped out and refilled is determined depending on the result of at least one turbidity measurement of the rinsing liquid. In the case of low turbidity, one or all dilution steps can alternatively be dispensed with. Due to the reduced water consumption, the energy consumption then drops with otherwise the same process parameters.
- the duration of the intermediate rinsing and rinsing is between about 10 and 35 minutes, depending in particular on the execution of a dilution step.
- the dilution steps are conceivable without restricting the invention at least without pumping out a partial volume beforehand to be carried out, so that more than approx in the dishwasher. Furthermore, the number the dilution steps in each liquid-carrying process section variable, especially between two process stages, the hot rinsing liquid is a dilution step energetically and with regard to water consumption cheaper than a full pumping and refilling with rinsing liquid, but this can include the cleaning result suffer, so depending on at least one turbidity measurement during the process section cleaning the further procedure for optimizing energy and water consumption designed with an acceptable wash result can be.
