Abstract

L'invention concerne un processus de production de documents selon lequel des données d'impression sont transmises d'un ordinateur (2) à une unité d'impression (4) pour l'impression sur un support (28). Le support (28) est amené à au moins une station de traitement (5, 6) avant et/ou après l'impression, cette station de traitement comprenant un dispositif de contrôle (12, 13, 14, 15) situé en un point de contrôle. Des données de contrôle sont envoyées, par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau informatique (21), du dispositif de contrôle (12, 13, 14, 15) à un dispositif de surveillance (7). Le dispositif de surveillance (7) coopère avec une banque de données (8), dans laquelle les données de contrôle sont enregistrées, pour surveiller le processus. Un fichier opérateur (11) est généré, fichier dans lequel sont enregistrées des données concernant l'opérateur affecté à l'unité d'impression (4) et/ou à la station de traitement (5, 6). Un fichier de rapport est généré, fichier dans lequel les données de contrôle générées par la machine ainsi que les données concernant l'opérateur affecté au dispositif surveillé et/ou au dispositif de contrôle de celui-ci sont stockées.
