Definitions

  • the invention relates to an auxiliary switch according to the preamble of claim 1, and an arrangement of auxiliary switches and service switching devices in an installation distributor.
  • Such auxiliary switches which are attached to the broad side of an electrical service switching device, serve as a signal or as a control switch and have terminals for incoming and outgoing conductors and in between at least one changeover switch whose movable contact piece between two fixed contact pieces is movable back and forth, depending on the switching position the installation device to which they are assigned.
  • About special coupling means arranged in the auxiliary switch switching mechanism is driven, whereby the movable contact piece between its two end positions is reciprocated.
  • Auxiliary switches are often mounted in an array of installation devices together with several service switching devices and possibly also with several other auxiliary switches together on a standard profile support rail and used as installation equipment network in distribution boards.
  • auxiliary switch Today known auxiliary switch have several terminals for incoming and outgoing conductors, the terminals for incoming and outgoing conductors are often arranged together on a narrow side. That's how it is EP0815576 an auxiliary switch known, the total 2 access and 4 outgoing terminals au utilizat, with one access and 2 outgoing terminals are arranged on each narrow side of the auxiliary switch. A similar terminal arrangement is also available in an auxiliary switch EP 0303965 known.
  • Electrical service switching devices have on at least one of its narrow sides a parallel to the mounting plane extending terminal, which is accessible via an access opening and in the example, a busbar or a busbar arrangement can be used as a cross-wiring. In this case, installation switching devices are known in which such terminals are arranged on both sides.
  • EP 0303965 is a composite of an auxiliary switch with several service switching devices on a standard profile support rail disclosed.
  • the access openings to the input or output terminals of the auxiliary switch are partially in line with the access openings to the terminals of the installation switching devices.
  • a common busbar or busbar assembly as used for cross wiring of service switching devices, consists essentially of an elongated conductor, which are arranged at regular intervals perpendicular to the longitudinal direction facing, short conductor pieces, which are all in a common plane, so that in total the busbar has a comb-like appearance.
  • the distance between the repellent conductor pieces corresponds to the locking dimension or the module width of the installation switching devices. If several service switching devices are arranged side by side in a distribution box on a standard profile mounting rail, the simultaneous connection of the terminals of all the installation switching devices can be made by simply inserting the busbar into the adjacent terminals of the installation switching devices.
