Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a formed package, associating a blank of paper or cardboard and a superimposed film, surrounding a stack of rigid products.
  • Such packages are commonly used in the field of agri-food techniques for packaging especially products such as biscuits.
  • This type of packaging has a number of disadvantages.
  • the biscuit levy is not particularly easy.
  • packaging is not compatible with an effective reclosing, so that the contents of the package once opened must be quickly consumed.
  • the present invention relates to a packaging device having a good level of tightness and allowing easy access to products, and possibly an easy reclosing.
  • the invention relates to a formed package which surrounds a stack of rigid products, and associating a blank of paper or cardboard and a film superimposed characterized in that the blank has a cutting zone defining a gripping region of the products. and in that the film has a band which is integral with it and which at least partially covers said cutting area, the film and the strip forming an opening device for clearing the cutting area, the sampling of successive products being able to perform by gravity by placing the package upright.
  • the presence of the cutting zone formed in the blank makes it possible to use any opening device, advantageously resealable, capable of clearing the cutting area and allowing access to the products.
  • the blank made of paper or cardboard makes it possible to ensure sufficient rigidity of the packaging while standing and to form a sort of self-supporting dispenser, even taking into account the localized weakening provided by the cutting zone.
  • the strip integral with the film may have an adhesive layer that secures the strip and the blank outside the cutting zone. This allows in particular to achieve a reclosing of the package.
  • the blank has a portion of sticky tape covered with a protective band, which is arranged for example in the vicinity of an edge of the blank or an edge of the blank. blank.
  • the strip may extend from a first edge to a second opposite edge of the film.
  • the contour of the blank fits into the contour of the film, and the blank and the film are superimposed so as to leave, at least at one end, a margin allowing the film to form by folding at least a package background.
  • the blank and the film may be superimposed so as to have a common edge.
  • the film may have a thickened strip which runs along said strip integral with the film, so as to limit the tearing of the film, towards one end of the film, in particular an end which forms a bottom of the pack.
  • the device is characterized in that the film has a cut tab substantially corresponding to the cutting area and in that the strip integral with the film is constituted by a label which adheres to the film on a surface in excess of the cut tab of the film so as to form an opening device - reclosing.
  • the package may be cylindrical or parallelepipedic, and at least one bottom of the package may be at least in part constituted by a folding of the film along an edge of said blank.
  • the film may have a region that overflows the blank and that overlaps with the film, with welding along the weld line.
  • the blank 1 made of paper or cardboard, and more particularly of paper or corrugated cardboard, has an opening constituted by a cutout 16 of width l and of length l 0 to the output of products, eg biscuits.
  • the length l 0 is at least equal to the half-perimeter of the package.
  • the width l is greater than or equal to their height.
  • the package is opened by pulling the film 2, in particular made of plastic, in particular polyolefin, of thickness for example of a few tens of microns, thanks to a tear initiation, for example cuts 27, located for example at the longitudinal seam 25 of the package.
  • the strip 3 may be secured only to the film 2, but preferably it may also be secured to the blank 1 outside the cut-out 16.
  • the portion of the strip 3 in the longitudinal edge of the blank 1 may beyond the edge 14 thereof, may also be coated with a tacky layer for reclosing the package after use.
  • the strip 3 is secured to the film 1, it is advantageous to provide the blank 1, in the vicinity of its edge 14 (or an edge 18 of the blank 18), a piece sticky tape 17 provided with appropriate protection. After opening the package for the first time, removes the protection of the piece of adhesive tape 17, so as to allow easy reclosing of the package.
  • the strip 3 is a single-sided strip bonded to the inner face of the film 2 and at the same level as the blank 16 of the blank 1.
  • the function of the strip 3 is to allow the tearing of the film 2 Outside the perimeter of the cut-out 16.
  • the films are generally made of materials for which the direction of propagation of a tear is not exactly predictable. With the band 3, the tear deviates little from the edges of the band 3, while not being able to penetrate the perimeter.
  • the length l 0 of the cut is greater than or equal to the half-perimeter of the biscuit and its height l is greater than or equal to that of a biscuit, in the case of a cylindrical packaging.
  • the removal of the adhesive tape 3 is done directly on the film 1.
  • the cutting of the opening 16 on the blank 1 can be carried out at the same time as the cutting of the contour of the blank 1 according to its length or separately.
  • the removal of the piece of protected adhesive tape 17 is done before or after cutting the contour of the blank 1 and / or the opening 16.
  • a thin adhesive strip 4 may be placed below the strip 3 used for opening in order to control the direction and orientation of the tear in the case of a film 2 bioriented polymer, so that the tear does not go to the bottom of the package.
  • the gripping region 16 thus released being located in the vicinity of a bottom of the package (for example at a distance equal to the thickness of one, two or even three products), the biscuits can be removed by gravity by placing the package standing.
  • a distance equal to the thickness of at least one product between the gripping region 16 and the bottom of the pack makes it possible to ensure sufficient rigidity despite cutting 16.
  • the film 2 has a cut tab 30, for example rectangular.
  • the tongue 30 is advantageously cut on an unclosed perimeter, for example on three cut sides 31, 32 and 33, leaving a hinge line 36 of the tongue 30 to the film 2 between the ends 34 and 35 of the sides 31 and 33.
  • the cut sides 31, 32, and 33 are advantageously secured at points 37 to the blank 2. These points 37 provide resistance negligible when opening.
  • the strip secured to the film 2 is constituted by a label 50 having a sticky inner surface superimposed on the cut tab 30 as shown in Figure 5b.
  • the label 50 has two edges 51 and 52 which are spaced from the edges 31 and 33 of the tongue 30, outside the perimeter thereof.
  • a gripping region 53 advantageously non-sticky on its inner face, is spaced from the edge 32 of the tongue 30, outside the perimeter of the latter.
  • the tongue 53 is bordered at least in part by weakening lines 55 (for example dotted lines or lines of low resistance) which serve in particular to tamper proof the package.
  • weakening lines 55 for example dotted lines or lines of low resistance
  • lines of weakness border a line 54 of articulation of the label 50 located directly above the line 36 or slightly beyond it outside the perimeter of the tongue. 30.
  • the user grasps the edge 53 of the label 50 and deploys it as shown in FIG. 6 by driving the tongue 30, the external face of which is secured by gluing the internal face of the label. 50, which releases the cutout 16 of the blank 1 and allows access to the products.
  • FIGS. 7a and 7b implements a sticky strip 3 for combining two materials, namely a blank 1 made of paper or cardboard, and more particularly of paper or corrugated cardboard and a film 2 in particular of plastic, in particular polyolefin, whose thickness is generally a few tens of microns.
  • the blank 1 and the film 2 are secured at a precut 15 made on the blank 1.
  • a tear primer made in particular at the longitudinal weld of the formed package allows, by pulling the film to cut it ci while tearing the precut 15 of the blank 1.
  • the movement is performed on all or part of the length l 2 of the blank 1 so as to allow access to the products, for example biscuits.
  • the reclosing can be carried out by applying the adhesive strip 3 in overflow of the blank 1 against the film 2 on which it is folded, for example at the longitudinal seam 25 of the package formed.
  • the precut 15 'of width (e.g., two dotted lines of weakness 15 or two thickness reduction lines) is formed on a part or all of the length l 2 of the package blank, and in any case on a sufficient length for the collection of products.
  • the width l is also dimensioned according to the products. For biscuits taken laterally, it is greater than or equal to the height of the biscuits.
  • the removal of the adhesive tape can be done first on one of the two materials with removal of the protection before contact with the other material.
  • the adhesive tape is first applied to the blank 1.
  • the length of the adhesive tape 3 deposited is less than or equal to the length L 2 of the film 2 used for packaging.
  • the length of the adhesive tape deposited 3 is less than or equal to the length l 2 of the blank 1.
  • the blank 1 has a width l 1 and a length l 2 and the pre-cut 15 'of width 1 extends from one end edge 11 to the other edge of the blank. end 14, parallel to the longitudinal sides 12 and 13, remaining spaced a distance m from the edge 13.
  • the assembly of the blank 1 and the film 2 is made by coinciding the edges 11 and 21 respectively of the blank 1 and the film 2 while leaving lower and upper margins M 1 and M 2 allowing a folding of the film 2 to at least partially form a bottom package at each end.
  • the film 2 has a width L 1 and a length L 2 , this length L 2 preferably being greater than the length I 2 of the blank 1 so that the adhesive tape 3 and the film can overflow to allow the film to stick to it. same, the length l 2 of the blank 1 substantially corresponding to the perimeter of the package formed around the products. In FIG. 1b, it can also be seen that the strip 3 is arranged so as to partially or completely cover the pre-cut region 15 of the blank 1.
  • a tear initiation for example cuts 27.
  • these cutouts 27 start from the edge 24 of the film 2.
  • FIG. 8 illustrates the case of a cylindrical package, in particular for round biscuits in the case where the length of the adhesive strip 3 is equal to the length of the film 2.
  • the cutouts 27, which here abut the edge 24 of the film 2 are formed at the longitudinal seam 25 of the pack whose bottoms are made by folding the ends of the film 2 which protrude from the edges 12 and 13 of the blank 2.
  • the consumer grasps the film 2 and the adhesive tape 3 at the cutouts 27 and perimetrically rips the film and pre-cuts 15 so as to come off the products 40, for example biscuits (see FIGS. 3 and 4), which which makes it possible to ensure gripping and lateral removal of these as soon as the torn precut length reaches the half-perimeter of the cylindrical bundle.
  • the gripping area 15 ' thus released being located near a bottom of the package, the biscuits can be removed by gravity by placing the package upright.
  • FIG. 9 illustrates the case where the length of the adhesive strip 3 is equal to the length l 2 of the blank 1.
  • the pre-cuts 27 can always be made at the longitudinal seam 25 but the beginning of the opening by pulling on the film 2 alone until the tear reaches the edge 14 of the blank 1 to then tear the entire film 2 and the precut 15 'to release the products 40 as in the case of the figure 2.
  • the length of the precut may be greater than or equal to the half-perimeter of the package, while in a square or rectangular package, the length of the precut may be greater than or equal to the length of one side of the packaging to ensure the collection of products.
