    characterized in that the recess (6) is arranged substantially lateral to and above a bearing surface (8) with which the purpose-made bricks (1) are placed on the lintel (2).
  2. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that the purpose-made bricks (1) are joined by bonding mortar with the lintel (2).
  3. A method according to one of the claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the purpose-made bricks (1) are joined among each other with a bonding mortar on the construction site.
  4. A method according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that one of the purpose-made bricks (1) is placed in a substantially flush way with the reveal which delimits the opening (4) of the building.
  5. A method according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that after producing the rolling shutter box the side parts (9) are introduced which are used for receiving the rolling shutter (17).
  6. A method according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that at least one sickle-shaped insulating element (16) is introduced into the recess (6) after the production of the rolling shutter box.
  7. An apparatus for producing a rolling shutter box, comprising the following elements:
    at least one lintel (2) which is designated for placement on the wall parts (3) which laterally delimit an opening (4) in the building;
    several independent purpose-made bricks (1) with a bearing surface (8) each for placing the purpose-made bricks (1) on the lintel (2), with the purpose-made bricks (1) having recesses (6) which are arranged substantially lateral to and above the bearing surface (8), and with side parts (9) for the lateral delimitation of the rolling shutter box and for receiving the rolling shutter (17).
  8. An apparatus according to claim 7, characterized in that the centre of gravity (S) of the purpose-made bricks (1) is situated above the bearing surface (8) in the installed position and that the recess (6) of the purpose-made bricks (1) are preferably located partly to the side next to the bearing surface (8) and partly above the bearing surface (8).
  9. An apparatus according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the purpose-made bricks (1) comprise an outside wall (7) on the side of the recess (6) which is opposite of the bearing surface (8), which outside wall projects downwardly beyond the bearing surface (8) with the thickness (I) of the lintel (2).
  10. An apparatus according to one of the claims 7 to 9, characterized in that at least one sickle-shaped insulating element (16) is provided in the recess (6) on the building side.
