Definitions
- the invention relates to a calender with a roll stack from at least two rollers in the area of their axial ends are mounted in stands, and a connection arrangement, the one with at least one roller Fluid connection and at least one roller a drive connection having.
- Such a calender is used to make a material web, for example, a paper web to satinize.
- the material web is replaced by at least one Nip led, which is formed by two adjacent rollers is that are pressed against each other.
- Nip led which is formed by two adjacent rollers is that are pressed against each other.
- a Roll stack which has more than two rolls, there is a correspondingly higher number of nips, in to which the material web can be loaded.
- At least one of the rollers is driven.
- the at least one roller is driven over one end of the roller, i.e. it is a drive connection provided in one of the two stands.
- This drive connection can, for example, be an electrical one or hydraulic engine that directly or is connected to the roller via a gear.
- at least the end rollers are used as deflection adjustment rollers educated. With a deflection adjustment roller the roller shell is over hydraulic lubricated support shoes on a yoke or support supported. There is a constant supply of hydraulic fluid here required.
- the rolling bearings of the Lubricating oil must be continuously fed to the rollers.
- a roller in the roller stack For improvement of surface properties of a paper web it is common to have at least one roller in the roller stack to heat.
- a heat transfer medium for example a hot liquid, such as water or oil, or Introduces steam into the roller.
- a Fluid connection for the supply of the hydraulic fluid, for the supply of the lubricant or for the supply of the heat transfer medium is a Fluid connection required, which is also in the area one or even both stands is arranged.
- Such a fluid connection can, for example, be a rotating union with which it is possible to Fluid from the stationary stand to the rotating one Transfer roller.
- the calender increases with faster and faster working Risk of damage to components of the calender. For example, lines can break or bearings to be damaged. This can lead to dangerous situations to lead.
- the invention is based, safety increase in operation.
- connection arrangement is arranged in a room that is closed by a Housing is bounded.
- the stand preferably forms part of the housing.
- the stand must have a certain for mechanical reasons Have stability. It therefore forms a mechanical one very effective barrier between the connection arrangement and the actual work areas of Rollers, so that the rollers when damage occurs protected from consequential damage on the connection arrangement are.
- the stable stand gives the whole case itself also a certain stability, so that the others Can run walls of the housing inexpensively. These walls just have to be suitable for flying around To prevent parts from leaking outside and if necessary, to offer a certain resistance to a fire.
- the room preferably has an extinguishing agent feed.
- an extinguishing agent feed In the event of a fire, a measure is provided by the extinguishing agent feed to extinguish this fire relatively quickly.
- the extinguishing agent can be tailored to the specific application. It can be, for example, CO 2 or an extinguishing foam, that is to say an extinguishing agent whose harmful effects on the connection arrangement can be kept low.
- the roll stack is preferably opposite to the direction of gravity inclined and the housing has one accordingly inclined lid, which serves as the basis for a Stair arrangement serves. So you use the case for a second purpose, namely to provide access to the To facilitate rolling. Such access is for example cheap when an operator Want to carry out maintenance work or a material web insert into the nip (s) of the roll stack would like to.
- the lid is preferably displaceable. You get then from above access to the connector arrangement what is particularly favorable if one of the components of Wants to handle the connection arrangement with the indoor crane.
- the lid in Axial direction of the rollers is displaceable.
- a shift the lid can usually be used with a perform less force than "opening".
- the Handling is simplified.
- the lid is mounted on rails is.
- the rails form a guide option for the lid so that it is exactly in position can be held.
- the Rails also have a sliding or rolling surface that prevents movement the lid relieved.
- the rails are preferably outside the cross section arranged and extend the roll stack across the width of the calender. So you can Slide the cover over the rollers and so the cover can also be used as a work platform for inspection or To carry out maintenance work on the rollers or thread the material web into the nips. Because the rails arranged outside the cross section of the roll stack they hinder the operation of the calender not and also allow free access on all rollers from above. Handling the rollers with the indoor crane is not hindered.
- the lid preferably has a sealing arrangement to the rest of the housing. This seal arrangement seals the cover to the housing. Because the lid should be movable relative to the housing, it is practical not possible to adjust the lid here to make the housing so that no gaps arise. The sealing arrangement is now able to seal such gaps so that, for example the risk of flame penetration remains small. Also the risk of flying parts is reduced flung out through a gap between the housing and cover become.
- the seal arrangement preferably has a seal that can be pressurized. You can get the seal relieve pressure if the lid is to be moved, and pressurize if the seal assembly the lid should seal against the housing. This is a relatively simple measure to open of the lid.
- At least some middle rollers of the Roll stack stored on levers and between each other protective levers are arranged next to each other.
- This Protective pillows are able to fly around Components dampen when such components in Release the area of the levers.
- the protective cushions a very effective tool for consequential damage reduce or even avoid altogether.
- the protective cushion fill a space between levers.
- the protective cushion is inflatable are designed, i.e. put under pressure can. It is also possible to use preformed, however still use deformable elements and put them between the levers. If there is no space between the Levering, the loosening of components is prevented.
- a calender 1 according to FIGS. 1 to 5 has a roll stack with ten rollers 2-11.
- the top three rollers 2-4 are removed.
- the roll stack is one in relation to the horizontal Angled at an angle of approximately 45 °.
- the top end roller 2 and the bottom end roller 11 designed as a deflection adjustment roller.
- the bottom end roller is a piston-cylinder arrangement 12 with a force in a press plane 13 acted on in the axes of virtually all rollers 2-11 lie.
- the rollers 4, 6, 8, 10 are designed as heating rollers, to which a heating medium is supplied via lines 14, for example hot water, hot oil or steam.
- the Lines 14 are via rotary unions, not shown connected to the rollers 4, 6, 8, 10.
- the rollers 5, 9 have drives 15, 16, for example as electric or hydraulic motors are trained. Of course, others can, or even all rollers are driven.
- the top roller 2 and the lower roller 11 are with hydraulic connections 17, 18 provided here for reasons of clarity only are shown as an arrow. About the hydraulic Connections becomes hydraulic fluid under pressure fed.
- the top roller 2 and the bottom roller 11 are designed as deflection adjustment rollers, at which the roller jacket over support shoes on one Supports the carrier. The interface between the Support shoes and the roller jacket is continuously through the hydraulic fluid is lubricated.
- the rotating unions through which the heating fluid is supplied from the lines 14, the drives 15, 16 or the connections 17, 18 form a connection arrangement, who are at risk of harm is. This is especially true if the calender 1 is more demanding, for example with a relatively high operating speed must run.
- the rollers are mounted in a stand 19 which (See Fig. 2) forms a wall of a housing 20.
- the Housing 20 encloses a space 21 in which the connections (the above-mentioned connection arrangement) arranged are, i.e. the fluid connections to the lines 14, the drive connections to the drives 15, 16 and hydraulic connections 17, 18.
- the housing is on all sides closed. If parts of the Loosen rotary unions, then you can also use higher speed no major damage Arrange outside the calender 1 because they are inside of the housing 20 are held.
- Extinguishing agent feeds 22 are also provided in the housing 20, through which an extinguishing agent, for example an extinguishing foam or a gas such as carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), can be fed into the space 21 when a fire is detected in the space.
- an extinguishing agent for example an extinguishing foam or a gas such as carbon dioxide (CO 2 )
- CO 2 carbon dioxide
- a door 23 is provided in the housing 20 for an operator To provide access to room 21.
- a staircase 24 which a user can enter to access all connection arrangements to obtain.
- window openings provided by the outside an optical control of the connection arrangement is possible.
- the window openings 25 are through panes closed, preferably from a non-flammable and very impact-resistant plastic.
- the housing is closed at the top by a cover 26, on which a staircase 27 is arranged. Laterally next to the stairs 27 are work platforms 28 (FIG. 2) formed, each associated with a roller 2-11 is. An operator can therefore via the stairs 27 to the Work platforms 28 arrive and from there in stock 29 of the rollers, which, as I said, in the stand 19 are stored.
- the cover 26 is slidable on rails 30, 31. He is provided with rollers 32 for this purpose.
- the rails 30, 31 extend substantially parallel to the axes of the rollers 2-11. You are outside the cross section of the roll stack, i.e. between the rails 30, 31 there is access to all rollers of above, so that the rollers 2-11 handled by an indoor crane can be without using the rails 30, 31 in Conflict. It is therefore possible, like this is shown with dashed lines in Fig. 2, the Rails 30, 31 across the entire width of the calender to extend so that the cover 26 across the calender 1 can be accessed to access the To get rollers 2-11 also in the range of their working width. This can be useful, for example, if one into the material web between the rollers 2-11 want to introduce formed nips.
- the cover 26 instructs its underside seals 33, 34, which as Hoses are formed and a sealing arrangement form.
- the seals 33, 34 can then, if the Lid 26 in its closed position on the housing 20 is arranged to be pressurized to such a seal between the cover 26 and the housing 20 to effect. It is not necessary that the seal between the cover 26 and the Housing 20 is hermetically sealed. You should just prevent that flames are released from room 21 can and that in room 21 flying parts to the outside can reach.
- the protective cushions 38, 39 have multiple tasks. You fill the space between the Lever out 35-37. If parts of the Loosen rollers 5-7 in the area of the bearings will fly away such parts through the protective cushions 38, 39 prevented. If with some pressure, the can be quite small, fitted between the levers 35-37 then they also act as damping elements against lever 35-37 vibrations.
- the Vibration damping is another safety aspect because with less vibration with less damage is to be expected.
