Le montage du dispositif s'effectue comme suit :

  • on encastre la ferrure 1 dans la lumière de montage 16 de la paroi frontale 15 de l'ouvrant, et l'on fixe le boítier 3 à ladite paroi ;
  • on assemble la fourche 5 et la tringle 19 comme expliqué ci-dessus. Il est à noter que la tringle et la fourche peuvent être emballées et livrées pré-assemblées,
  • on place la tringle le long du chant 23 en insérant l'extrémité 7 de fourche 5 dans les ouvertures 18, 4 et 35, en déplaçant si nécessaire la fourche 5 en profondeur de façon à la positionner en regard de l'ouverture 35 du coulisseau de commande. Ce positionnement de la fourche par rapport à l'ouverture 35 peut s'effectuer en faisant coulisser les gorges 13, 14 le long des bords 37, 38 manuellement ou au moyen d'une pince permettant de tenir la partie des extrémités 6a, 6b des branches 8, 9 en saillie de la tringle 19. A cette fin, lesdites extrémités 6a, 6b présentent préférentiellement des moyens de préhension (non représentés) adaptés pour coopérer avec les mors de la pince utilisée (complémentarité de forme entre lesdites extrémités et lesdits mors),
  • on agence les moyens de montage et de guidage (non représentés) de la tringle sur le chant. Ces moyens comprennent notamment au moins une glissière couvrant la tringle et dotée de lumières oblongues pour le passage et les mouvements des pênes 31, 32 et des vis de fixation de la glissière au chant 23 de l'ouvrant traversant des lumières de la tringle adaptées pour permettre les déplacements de la tringle en translation,
  • on introduit la vis pointeau 21 depuis la façade frontale 40 de la ferrure dans l'alésage 42 ménagé dans le coulisseau, et l'on serre ladite vis 21. Cette dernière traverse le logement 28 du coulisseau de commande entre les deux branches 8 et 9 de la fourche, à proximité de l'âme 10 de liaison desdites branches. Elle présente un plus grand diamètre au moins égal, de préférence supérieur, à l'écartement -mesuré dans un plan de section perpendiculaire à la direction de coulissement et passant par ladite vis pointeau- que présentent les branches 8,9 lorsque les gorges 13, 14 sont en appui contre les bords 37, 38. Le serrage de la vis pointeau 21 permet tout d'abord de plaquer la fourche 5 contre le fond 39 du logement 28 du coulisseau de commande, et d'interdire des déplacements relatifs de la fourche et du coulisseau en profondeur et selon la direction longitudinale de translation. Il permet ensuite de bloquer la fourche 5 dans la tringle 19 et d'interdire leur déplacement relatif (en profondeur et selon la direction longitudinale de translation), lesdites branches 8, 9 exerçant des forces opposées contre les bords 37, 38 selon la direction longitudinale sous l'effet de la vis 21. Enfin, les pinces 11 et 12 de la fourche 5 emboítant les bords 37, 38 de la lumière 20 de la tringle, dont la position relativement au chant 23 selon la direction de coulissement est maintenue fixe par les moyens de montage de ladite tringle, la vis pointeau maintient la fourche 5 dans une position fixe selon la direction de coulissement par rapport au coulisseau de commande. Ainsi, la vis pointeau (en combinaison avec les pinces 11, 12 et le fond 39 du logement 28) permet de réaliser des liaisons rigides entre la fourche et le coulisseau de commande et entre la fourche et la tringle.

    a fitting (1) intended to be inserted into a slot (16), known as a mounting slot, of a front face (15) of the door, said fitting comprising means (25, 26, 27, 29) for fixing to the front face and a control runner (2) slidably mounted in a case (3) of the fitting in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of translation of the bar (19), said control runner having a housing (28) opening laterally onto an opening (4) made in one side (22) of the case intended to be opposite the edge of the door,
    means (20, 5, 35, 28, 21) for connecting in translation the bar (19) and the control runner (2) in the longitudinal direction, suitable for preventing relative movements of the bar and the control runner in the longitudinal direction of translation, such that the bar may be driven in translation by the movements of the control runner, said connecting means comprising, on the one hand, at least one connecting part (5) separate from the control runner (2) and from the bar (19), intended to cooperate with the housing (28) of the control runner, and, on the other hand, means for assembling (7, 35, 21, 28) said connecting part (5) to the control runner (2), suitable for preventing relative movements of the control runner and the connecting part in the longitudinal direction of translation and in a direction, known as the depth, at right angles to a front plane of the door,
    the connecting means comprising means (6, 20) for assembling at least said connecting part (5) to the bar (19), suitable for preventing relative movements of the bar and the connecting part in the longitudinal direction of translation and to allow, at least during assembly, a relative positioning in depth of the bar and the connecting part.

Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the means for assembling at least said connecting part (5) to the bar comprise means for coupling (20, 11, 12) the bar (19) and the connecting part (5), suitable for allowing relative movements in depth of said bar and said connecting part and locking means (21), suitable for preventing said relative movements after assembly.
  3. Device according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the connecting means comprise a single connecting part (5).
  4. Device according to claim 3, characterised in that said connecting part comprises a plate having:
    on the one hand, a first end intended to be inserted into the housing (28) of the control runner, in the sliding direction and from the opening (4) of the side of the case, said first end having a size corresponding, to within the clearance, to the volume of said case (28),
    and, on the other hand, a second end intended to pass, in the sliding direction, through an aperture (20) made in the bar (19) having a longitudinal dimension at least substantially equal to a longitudinal dimension of the second end and a depth considerably greater than a depth of said second end.
  5. Device according to claim 3, characterised in that:
    the connecting part comprises a fork (5) with two rigid prongs (8, 9) intended to oppose one another in the longitudinal direction of translation, said prongs having, on the one hand, joined ends (7) intended to be inserted into the housing (28) of the control runner, in the sliding direction and from the opening (4) of the side of the case and, on the other hand, free ends (6a, 6b) intended to pass, in the sliding direction, through an aperture (20) made in the bar (19) and to bear against two opposing edges (37, 38) of said aperture (20) in the longitudinal direction, said aperture (20) having a depth considerably greater than a depth of said free ends,
    the locking means comprise a pointed screw (21) intended to be mounted from a front face (40) of the fitting, so as to pass through the control runner (2) between the two prongs (8, 9) of the fork in order to allow said prongs to be separated, said pointed screw (21) having a diameter equal to or greater than a spread of said prongs, known as the locking spread, for which the free ends (6a, 6b) of the prongs bear against the opposing edges (37, 38) of the aperture (20).
  6. Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the free end (6a) of at least one prong (8) of the fork is equipped with an external groove (14) extending according to the depth, intended to cover an edge (37) of the aperture (20) and to form a double limit stop preventing relative movements of the bar (19) and the fork (5) in the sliding direction.
  7. Device according to any one of claims 5 or 6, characterised in that the dimension of the aperture (20) is at least greater than a minimum size of the free ends (6a, 6b) of the fork.
  8. Method for mounting a device according to any one of claims 4 to 7 in a door (17), characterised in that it comprises the following chronological steps:
    the fitting (1) is inserted into the mounting slot (16) from the front face (15) of the door (17),
    the fitting (1) is fixed in the door (17) by corresponding fixing means (25, 26, 27, 29),
    the connecting part (5, 7) is inserted in the sliding direction into the housing (28) of the control runner (2) from an opening (18) made in the edge (23) of the door (17) opposite said housing (28) and from the opening (4) of the side of the case (3),
    the means for mounting the bar (19) are fitted on the door (17) and the bar (19) is placed along the edge (23) by inserting the connecting part (5, 6) into the aperture (20) of the bar (19),
    if applicable, the means for locking (21) the connecting part (5) are fitted.
  9. Method for mounting a locking/unlocking device according to any one of claims 4 to 7, in a door (17), characterised in that it comprises the following chronological steps:
    the fitting (1) is inserted into the mounting slot (16) from the front face (15) of the door (17),
    the fitting (1) is fixed in the door (17) by corresponding fixing means (25, 26, 27, 29),

Method for mounting according to any one of claims 8 or 9 a locking/unlocking device according to any one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the pointed screw (21) is introduced into the control runner (2) from a front face (40) of the fitting (1) and said pointed screw (21) is tightened until the fork (5) is locked in the bar (19) and the control runner (2).
  11. Sliding door characterised in that it comprises a locking/unlocking device according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
