Description

The invention relates to fences formed by assembling posts and lattice panels.

To date, there are many types of fences.

But, whatever the chosen fence, we know only two ways to proceed to its installation.

The first method is to put the fence to progress, that is to say, to first put a set of poles (for example all the available poles) and then mount the panels.

The second method is to put the fence continuously, that is to say to ask alternately a pole, then a panel, and a post, and so on.

It is recognized that the pose to the progress is faster than the continuous pose.

As we will see, some types of fences are suitable for continuous installation, while others are suitable for installation.

According to a first type of fence, the mesh panels are connected and fixed in pairs on the front portion of a post of rectangular, triangular or other section, using a flange cooperating simultaneously with the horizontal son of two adjacent panels.

Ce type de clôture est connu notamment de la demande de brevet européen publiée sous le n° EP-0 368 778.This type of closure is known in particular from the European patent application published under No. EP-0 368 778.

This solution, adapted to the laying to the progress, however, has a major drawback. Indeed, it is necessary to position the horizontal son of the adjacent panels to the same height, which makes difficult the so-called step operation consistent, it is recalled, to position two adjacent panels at different heights to adapt the fence to the terrain configuration.

Another type of fence allows the connection of panels without tools and accessories. The post is shaped with two V-section walls facing each other. Notches are provided in the walls of the V to allow passage to the horizontal son lattices.

Although it is suitable for laying down, this solution, known in particular from the French patent application published under the number FR-A-2 710 938, also has drawbacks.

Firstly, in summer weather, the mesh panels may expand, so that their horizontal threads progressively diverge from the bottom of the notches in which they are engaged, causing a floating effect under the action of the wind. other solicitations, and generates noise.

Second, given the spacing between the notches, it is not possible, in case of recess to adapt the configuration of the fence to that of the ground, to shift at will vertically panels.

Third, protection against intrusions is insufficient. Indeed, a strong thrust in the center of the lattice panel is enough to clear the horizontal son of their notches, the panel being thus released.

Another type of fence still proposes to make in the side walls of the post a plurality of T-shaped notches with a longitudinal oblong slot in which are engaged the horizontal son of the panels.

This solution is entirely satisfactory for its ease of installation, strength and reliability; it is especially possible to put the fence continuously.

However, there is moisture seepage through the notches, which can cause not only the appearance of rust spots on the post, but also its bursting frost.

Another solution proposes to report on a wing of the T-section pole a passer with an inner groove in which is able to be housed a horizontal wire of the trellis panel, as described in the application for a certificate of addition published under No. FR-A-2 641 306.

However, given the layout of the passer and the orientation of its inner groove, it appears difficult, if not impossible to follow the fence a curved path, the panel must indeed be systematically perpendicular to the pole so that its horizontal wire can be lodged in the groove.

In addition, this document is silent on the installation of the fence. In any case, the pose to the progress seems impossible, taking into account in particular the respective configurations of the post and the passers-by.

Furthermore, the lattice panel locking device described in EP-A-03935 038 also comprises rectangular openings spaced and pre-established in the wings of the columns with both the problem of adaptation to the terrain and that of infiltration of moisture.

In the document EP-A-0.649.954, which discloses a fence with all the features of the preamble of claim 1, jumpers for mounting poles on poles have a groove for a horizontal wire from where a floating panel of lattice to the poles under the action of various stresses that inevitably generate noise.

Specifically, the invention aims to provide a fence which, while overcoming the aforementioned drawbacks, is both solid and reliable, insensitive to the weather, and whose installation is both simple, fast and can be performed at will to advancement or continuous.

For this purpose, the invention proposes, in a first aspect, a fence comprising a plurality of poles and lattice panels each clean to connect two poles in pairs, and at least one attached fastener for fixing each panel to a post, each post having a side wall having a free edge, each panel having at one of its ends a vertical end wire, the fastener having a groove, characterized in that said groove is adapted to be engaged both on said end wire and secure the side wall of the post to maintain the end wire at the free edge of the side wall.

This fence can be posed, as desired, continuously or in progress.

When it is put in progress, it allows a substantial saving of time, of the order of 30%.

Moreover, it is not necessary to make notches in the posts, which represents a substantial saving and avoids the infiltration of moisture.

It is also possible to make recesses at will to adapt the fence to the configuration of the terrain, including the hollows and bumps of it.

In addition, it is possible to vary the orientation of the panels relative to the poles, so that it is possible to follow at the close curved paths corresponding precisely to the profile of the perimeter of the land to be fenced.

According to one embodiment, the fastener has a U-profile section and has two facing branches connected at the end to form said groove.

A through hole is for example made in at least one of the branches for the passage of a fixing screw of the fastener to the side wall of the post.

Furthermore, the fastener may have a bearing face by which it is adapted to ensure the support of the panel.

In addition, a plurality of fasteners may be provided for attaching a panel to a post.

The invention also proposes, according to a second aspect, a method for laying a fence as described above, this method comprising the steps of
  • first implant the poles,
  • then mounting the panels on the posts, the implantation of the posts being carried out in such a way that the distance separating the side walls facing two neighboring posts is equal to the distance separating the vertical end threads of a panel, the mounting each panel comprising the steps of:
  • position the end wires of the panel at the free edges of the side walls of the columns,
  • attaching each end wire to the side wall by means of at least one attached fastener.

The assembly of the panels is thus particularly simple and fast.

  • introduire un fil d'extrémité du panneau dans la gorge du poteau ;
  • faire pivoter le panneau pour amener son fil d'extrémité opposé en regard de la gorge du poteau voisin ;
The post may have a vertical groove bordered by a side wall, the positioning of the end wires of each panel then comprising the steps of:
  • introduce an end wire from the panel into the groove of the post;
  • rotate the panel to bring its opposite end wire opposite the groove of the neighboring pole;
  • move the panel to bring the end wires to the free edges of the side walls of the posts.

  • engager l'attache sur le fil d'extrémité de telle sorte que celui-ci se trouve pris entre la gorge et le bord libre de la paroi de côté du poteau ;
The fixing of the panel comprises the steps of:
  • engage the tie on the end wire so that it is caught between the groove and the free edge of the side wall of the post;
  • attach the clip to the side wall of the pole.

It is also possible to support the panels by means of the fasteners. Thus, the panel having a horizontal wire and the fastener having a bearing face, the panel rests on the bearing surface via the horizontal wire.

In addition, it is possible to use a plurality of fasteners reported to ensure the attachment of each end wire to the side wall of the post.

A fence 1 whose installation will be described later is shown in Figures 1 to 3. This fence 1 comprises a succession of posts 2 connected in pairs by mesh panels 3 having a welded assembly of horizontal metal son 4 and vertical 5 intersecting .

Divers types de panneaux de treillis 3 peuvent être employés ; on en a représenté trois types sur les figures 1 à 3.Various types of trellis panels 3 may be employed; three types have been shown in Figures 1 to 3.

Thus, the panel 3 shown in Figure 1 comprises near its upper edge a series of rings 6 having a function both decorative and reinforcement.

The vertical son 5 of the panel 3 shown in Figure 2 have, near their upper end, a recess 7 in trapezoidal shape having essentially a stiffening function.

Tel est également le cas des fils horizontaux 4 du panneau 3 de la figure 1.The horizontal son 4 of the panel 3 shown in Figure 3 are doubled, also for purposes of stiffening. This is also the case of the horizontal wires 4 of the panel 3 of FIG.

Each panel 3 has two opposite ends 8, 9 through which it is mounted on the two adjacent posts 2 which it connects.

At each of its ends 8, 9, the panel 3 comprises a vertical wire 10 which either constitutes itself the end 8, 9 of the panel 3, or is slightly set back with respect to the ends 11 of the horizontal wires 4 Thereafter, this vertical wire 10 will be called end wire.

Each post 3 is made in one piece by folding a metal sheet so that it has a section in T-shaped or mushroom.

The post 3 comprises a central core 12 formed by two parallel sheet metal sections, extended on the one hand by a foot 13 of rectangular section or in the form of a half-moon and, on the other hand, opposite the foot 13, by a head 14 formed by two folds 180 °, symmetrical, and which each form, on either side of the central core 12, a side wall 15 which extends towards the foot 13, facing the central core 12 and substantially parallel thereto.

Each side wall 15 has a free vertical edge 16 which looks towards the foot 13, the width of the post 2 at its head 14, that is to say the distance separating the two side walls 15, being equal to its width at its foot 13, that is to say, the largest dimension of the latter.

Le pied 13 et la tête 14 définissent ainsi, conjointement avec l'âme centrale 12 et de part et d'autre de celle-ci, deux gorges 17 symétriques dans chacune desquelles est apte à venir se loger, de manière classique et connue en soi, une dalle de soubassement (non représentée) qui se trouvera calée entre le pied 13 et le bord libre 16 de la paroi de côté 15.The foot 13 and the head 14 thus define, together with the central core 12 and on both sides thereof, two symmetrical grooves 17 in each of which is adapted to be housed, in a conventional manner and known per se , a base plate (not shown) which will be wedged between the foot 13 and the free edge 16 of the side wall 15.

The fence 1 can be placed continuously or in progress.

To put fence 1 in progress, we proceed as follows.

The first step is to implant the posts 2 so that the distance separating the free edges 16 of the side walls 15 opposite two adjacent posts 2 is equal to the length of a panel 3, that is to say to the distance separating its opposite end vertical wires.

The panels 3 are then mounted on the posts 2.

To mount each panel 3, one begins by positioning its opposite end wires 10 to the right of the free edges 16 of the side walls 15 of two adjacent posts 2.

Given the space available between these two posts 2, it is not possible to directly mount the panel 3 directly, that is to say to bring simultaneously, horizontally, the two vertical end wires 10 to right of the free edges 16 of the corresponding side walls 15.

The panel 3 is then tilted in the space provided between adjacent posts 2 by first introducing one of its end wires 10 into the groove 17 of one of the posts 2, as shown on FIG. Figure 12.

The panel 3 is then rotated to bring the opposite end wire 10 opposite the groove 17 of the adjacent post 2, as shown in FIG. 13.

The panel 3 is then centered to bring the end wires 10 in the extension of the side walls 15, that is to say right and opposite their free edges 16, as represented in FIG. 14 .

Each end wire 10 is then attached to the corresponding side wall 15 by means of a fixing device 18 which comprises at least one attached fastener 19, as represented in particular in FIG. 15.

This fastener 19 is in the form of a rigid jumper made of a block by molding or machining from a resistant material such as a composite material, a steel, an aluminum, or the like.

This jumper 19 has a section with a U-shaped profile and has two parallel branches facing each other, namely a so-called internal branch 20 and a so-called external branch 21, connected at the end by a bottom wall 22 and thus defining a groove 23 which opens at the opposite of the bottom wall 22.

For fixing the mesh panel 3, the jumper 19 is engaged frontally on the vertical end wire 10, then on the side wall 15 so that its inner branch 20 is introduced into the groove 23, between the wall of the side 15 and the central core 12 of the post 2.

In this configuration, the outer leg 21 of the jumper 19 is applied against the side wall 15, while the inner leg 20 is itself applied against the core 12 (Figure 9). The relative dimensions of the post 2 and the rider 19 are of course chosen accordingly.

The external branch 21 of the jumper 19 is then fixed to the side wall 15, which is itself engaged in the groove 23 of the jumper 19. This operation may be performed by riveting; however, the screwing is preferred, and, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 9 in particular, a through-hole 24 for the passage of a screw 25 is formed in the outer branch 21 of the jumper 19, a countersink 26 being provided for the support of the screw head 27.

According to an alternative embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 10 and 11, there is also practiced in the inner branch 20 a through hole 28, which extends in the extension of the first hole 24, and forming a passage for the body 29 of the screw 25. However, the diameter of the screw 25 will be chosen less than the diameter of the hole 28, so that it will be floating, for n ' to be truly engaged only with the side wall 15.

It is preferable to use a perforating screw which, when it is put in place, pierces the side wall 15, so that it is not necessary to make prior openings therein.

Par ailleurs, afin d'assurer l'inviolabilité de la clôture 1, il est possible de prolonger la rotation de la vis 25 de sorte que son pas de vis se trouve faussé par frottement contre la tranche du trou 30 réalisé dans la paroi de côté 15.Moreover, to ensure the inviolability of the fence 1, it is possible to extend the rotation of the screw 25 so that its screw pitch is distorted by friction against the edge of the hole 30 made in the side wall. 15.

For this purpose, it is possible to use a screw of the bi-metal type, the body 29 of which is made of hardened steel and whose head 27 is made of stainless steel.

An alternative may be to destroy the footprint of the screw head 25, to prevent the introduction of the tip of a screwdriver.

In fine, le cavalier 19 se trouve fixé à demeure sur la paroi de côté 15 du poteau 2.Finally, the rider 19 is fixed permanently on the side wall 15 of the post 2.

Un tel étrier est commercialisé par la demanderesse sous l'appellation PREFIXO (marque déposée).To ensure the temporary support of the panel 3 before the attachment of the jumper 19, one can use a stirrup of the type of that described in the French patent application in the name of the applicant, published under No. FR-A-2,770 559, which rests the panel 3 by means of one of its horizontal son 4. Such caliper is marketed by the plaintiff under the name PREFIXO (registered trademark).

It is preferable to position a jumper 19 under a horizontal wire 4, close to the latter, so that when the stirrup is removed and the trellis panel 3 is released, the latter descends by gravity to come to bear, via the horizontal wire 4, against an upper bearing surface 31 of the rider 19 which, thereby, provides support for the mesh panel 3.

To ensure vertical blocking of the panel 3, it is possible to position an additional jumper 19 above a horizontal wire 4, so that the panel 3 is caught between two jumpers 19 against which the corresponding horizontal wires 4 abut .

The number of jumpers 19 of the device 18, used for fixing a mesh panel 3 to the same post 2, is left to the discretion of those skilled in the art, but it is of course preferable to have several on the same vertical end wire 10 to ensure proper maintenance of the latter and thus prohibit any movement of the panel 3.

The width of the groove 23, that is to say the distance separating the branches 20, 21, is chosen as a function of the diameter of the vertical end thread 10; in practice, the width of the groove 23 is slightly greater than this diameter.

Moreover, one can take into account the expansions or contractions of the mesh panel 3 as a function of temperature.

For this purpose, the groove 23 of the rider 19 may have, on the side of the bottom wall 22, a recess 32 in which is adapted to be housed the vertical wire end 10 in case of expansion (or, conversely, contraction) of the panel 3, the groove 23 thus having in section an L-shaped profile, as shown in FIG. 11.

In addition, the rider 19 may include stiffening ribs 34 to prevent inadvertent spacing of the branches 20, 21, especially in the case of a forced intrusion attempt. According to an embodiment illustrated in FIG. 6, three ribs 34 are provided, which extend at the junction between the inner branch 20 and the bottom wall 22.

Enfin, afin d'assurer l'étanchéité et une finition visuelle agréable du poteau 2, ce dernier peut être coiffé d'un couvercle 33 dont la forme est complémentaire de la section du poteau 2, tel que représenté sur les figures 1 à 3.Finally, in order to ensure the seal and a pleasant visual finish of the post 2, the latter can be capped with a cover 33 whose shape is complementary to the section of the post 2, as shown in Figures 1 to 3.

It has been described a method for laying the progress of the fence 1. However, it can be laid continuously, especially when it is desired to bring back slabs base, it is not possible to pose between two posts already implanted.

Only the order of the installation of the posts 2 and panels 3 is different.

Thus, for the laying of a fence 1 according to the invention further comprising underbody slabs, firstly a first post 2 is implanted, then the end of a slab is introduced laterally into its groove 17 .

The next post 2 is then implanted by engaging its groove 17 on the opposite end of the slab.

Finally, a trellis panel 3 is mounted in the same manner as previously described.
