  • the free end of the ramp portion 15 rests on the floor of the slot 31 so as to receive the toe portion 15 of the clip 10 as it is introduced into the slot 31.
  • the toe portion 15 of the clip 10 rides up the ramp portion 25 and over the ridge 23 it exerts pressure on first the ramp portion 25 and then the plate portion 21 of the device 20 and the device 20 tilts so that the underside of the plate portion 21 of the device 20 lies flat against the rail foot 65.
  • the ridge 23 may not extend the entire length of the plate member 21; for example, it might extend only the length of the toe portion 15 of the clip 10.
  • the ramp 25 may be omitted and the clip pulled up and over the ridge 23.

  • the angle of the surface contacted by the legs 16, 17 of the clip 10, when it is fully installed in the slot 31, is typically 30 ⁇ . If the legs 16, 17 of the clip 10 have substantially square edges, those edges will dig into the walls of the slot 31 on installation of the clip 10. However, this can be avoided by rounding the profile of the legs 16, 17, so as to more closely approximate the profile of the slot 31, for example as shown in Figures 4 and 6.

Claims (14)

  1. Vorrichtung, umfassend eine Eisenbahnschienen-Befestigungsklammer (10) und eine Eisenbahnschienen-Grundplatte (40) der Bauart mit einem mittigen Schienensitzbereich (41), dessen Längsseiten jeweils eine Rippe (30) aufweisen, durch die ein Schlitz (31) quer zur Schiene (60) verläuft, so dass der Schlitz (31) im unteren Bereich (31b) breiter ist als im oberen Bereich (31a), wobei die Klammer (10) ein längliches Bauteil aufweist, das derart gebogen ist, dass erste und zweite Endbereiche des Bauteils jeweils untere und obere Arme (11, 12) ausmachen, wobei der untere Arm (11) einen Basisabschnitt (19) der Klammer (10) zum Eingreifen in den Schlitz (31) in der Grundplatte (40) bildet, und der obere Arm (12) weiter ausragt als der untere Arm (11), so dass an seinem freien Ende ein Zehenabschnitt (15) der Klammer (10) erhalten wird, der einem Schienenfuß (65) aufliegt,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    der Zehenabschnitt (15) der Klammer (10) nicht gegabelt ist, und der Zehenabschnitts (15) der Klammer (10) schmaler ist als der obere Bereich (31a) des Schlitzes (31) in der Grundplatte (40), wohingegen der untere Arm (11) der Klammer (10) breiter ist als der obere Bereich (31a) des Schlitzes (31) in der Grundplatte (40).
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Grundabschnitt (19) der Klammer (10) mittig gegabelt ist, so dass man ein Paar Schenkel (16, 17) erhält.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, wobei die Schenkel (16, 17) abgerundete obere Außenränder aufweisen.
  4. Vorrichtung nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei sich die Breite von mindestens Abschnitt (14) der Klammer (10) stufenweise zwischen dem Grundabschnitt (19) und dem Zehenabschnitt (15) verjüngt.
  5. Vorrichtung nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei der Zehenabschnitt (15) der Klammer (10) eine konstante Breite aufweist.
  6. Vorrichtung nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei der Basisabschnitt (19) der Klammer(1 0) eine konstante Breite aufweist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, wobei die Klammer (10) aus einem länglichen plattenförmigen Material besteht.
  8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, umfassend in der Reihenfolge von ihrem ersten zum zweiten Endbereich, zuerst einen im Wesentlichen flachen Basisabschnitt (19), einen gebogenen Hinterabschnitt (13), dann einen im Wesentlichen flachen Zwischenabschnitt (14), und schließlich einen gebogenen Vorderabschnitt (15).
  9. Eisenbahnschienen-Befestigungsbaugruppe, umfassend die Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 und eine Vorrichtung (20), umfassend einen Plattenabschnitt (21) zum Unterbringen auf dem Schienenfuß (65), wobei der Plattenabschnitt (21) eine Anlegefläche (23') aufweist, an der der Zehenabschnitt (15) der Eisenbahnschienen-Befestigungsklammer (10) anliegt, damit ein versehentliches Wegziehen der Klammer (10) von der Schiene (60) verhindert wird.
  10. Baugruppe nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Anlegefläche (23') der Vorrichtung (20) durch eine Seite einer Leiste (23) gebildet wird, die sich auf ihrem Plattenabschnitt (21) befindet.
  11. Baugruppe nach Anspruch 10, wobei die Leiste (23) längs eines Randes des Plattenabschnitts (21) verläuft.
  12. Baugruppe nach Anspruch 9, 10 oder 11, zudem umfassend einen Rampenabschnitt (25), der so angeordnet ist, dass er seitlich vom Plattenabschnitt (21) absteht, so dass der Rampenabschnitt (25) nach unten ragt, befindet sich der Plattenabschnitt (21) auf dem Schienenfuß (65).
  13. Baugruppe nach Anspruch 12 in Verbindung mit Anspruch 11, wobei der Rampenabschnitt (25) vom Rand des Plattenabschnitts (21) nahe der Leiste (23) ausgeht.
  14. Baugruppe nach Anspruch 12 oder 13, umfassend eine Klammer (10) nach Anspruch 2 oder nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 8 in Verbindung mit Anspruch 2, wobei bei Gebrauch der Rampenabschnitt (25) der Vorrichtung (20) zwischen den Schenkeln (16, 17) der Klammer (10) verläuft.
