Definitions
- the present invention relates to a U-shaped support profile for forming a Light channel according to the preamble of claim 1 or a light channel system.
- a known light channel system which is known by the applicant under the name "Canal" is shown in Figs. 14 and 15.
- the basic structure of this The light channel system forms an elongated support profile 100 which is open towards the underside, which is inserted in the opening of a ceiling or suspended with steel cables is attached to a ceiling.
- A runs within the support profile 100 Through wiring 101, which power supply lines and data lines for which contains various lights.
- the support profile 100 is divided into several so-called Module fields divided into which light inserts 103 to 105 or light modules be used.
- the light insert 103 has, for example, an emitter 106 which by means of a gimbal 107 around a perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the Carrying profile 100 or the light insert 103 axis I extending can.
- the light insert 103 is designed such that it is around a further axis II running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support profile 100 is pivotable. Due to this suspension, the radiator 106 can be made almost continuously swung out on a horizontal plane and individually on one to be illuminated Object to be judged. The overall lighting achieved can thus be individual and can be easily adapted to changing conditions.
- the flexibility of the light channel system is further increased by the fact that Different light inserts are available, which are in the module fields of the Support profile 100 can be used.
- the light insert 104 shown in FIG. 14 has, for example, a compact fluorescent lamp with which a certain one Area can be irradiated over a large area.
- Analogous to that previously described Light insert 103 with the radiator 106 is also the light insert 104 parallel to the Longitudinal axis of the support profile 100 axis pivotable.
- Another Light insert 105 has, for example, two spotlights 106, which are similar to the individual radiator 106 of the first light insert 103 are pivotally mounted.
- the various light inserts are easily interchangeable. change For example, the spatial situation or the furniture within the illuminating room so a now unsuitable luminaire insert without greater effort to be replaced by another that has better illumination allows.
- the individual support profiles 100 can be individually one light channel structure matched to the room to be illuminated become.
- the present invention is based on the object, the known To develop light channel systems in such a way that a simple and safe Handling of the system and a further increased flexibility in the design of the Light channel and the lighting obtained is obtained.
- the stand the technology to be developed in such a way that a swiveled or a ceiling-integrated installation of the light modules in the support profile is possible is.
- This task is accomplished by a U-shaped support profile to form a light channel solved according to claim 1 or a light channel system according to claim 9.
- the main idea of the invention to achieve the stated object is the support profile to be designed such that the luminaire modules in several different installation depths can be arranged within the support profile. This is achieved in that the support profile on its inside several, arranged at different depths Has engaging elements, which is a latched holder of the lamp module enable.
- the free choice of installation depth ensures even better illumination of the room to be illuminated, because - if the lighting modules are in the lowest Position are - the adjustment options of the individual lights fully used can be. If, on the other hand, the luminaire modules become deeper in the support profile sunk, so there is the possibility of adding additional light to the underside of the light channel Light influencing agents such as To provide grids or colored cover plates, which provides a wide range of design options for the light channel.
- the support profile is preferably in three parts designed and consists of two separate side elements over a yoke-like Connecting element are interconnected.
- the advantage of this multi-part Design is that the individual parts cut off in a simple manner and can be individually adjusted to a desired length.
- the Support profile according to the invention can be suspended from a ceiling by means of steel cables attached or alternatively sunk in a ceiling.
- the luminaire modules intended for use in the support profile can be the same Have adjustment or pivoting options, as they are from the prior art Technology are known.
- a lamp module with a spotlight is preferred provided, which is rotatable relative to the housing of the lamp module and additionally is pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis.
- a particularly beneficial one Training then consists in the fact that the lamp module has a locking mechanism has through which the spotlight in the event that the lamp module is not in the outermost position is arranged on the support profile, held in a rotational position is in which the pivot axis of the radiator parallel to the longitudinal axis of the Luminaire module or the support profile.
- the spotlight can only be used in all of them Directions are adjusted when the lamp module is in the lowest position is located, however, with a partially or completely submerged arrangement of the spotlight in the support profile limited or completely suppressed pivoting becomes. This avoids that the radiator on the inner region of the support profile is directed and thus ensures overheating of the light channel. The This significantly increases operational reliability of the entire system.
- the locking mechanism preferably comprises two bars on which pins are arranged are in an extended position of the latch the swivel joint for the spotlight To block.
- the side walls of the support profile point in their lower areas corresponding recesses on the extension of the bolt exactly then enable if the lamp module is arranged in the outermost position. in the Contrary to the recesses for the pawls with which the lamp module is locked in the support profile, the recesses for the bolt of the Locking mechanism only provided in the lowest position.
- this unlocking mechanism is by means of a Push button can be actuated and causes the holding pawls assigned to it to be moved in an unlocked position and thus releasing the latching of the lamp module with the support profile.
- a slider is formed which has several obliquely arranged or oblique edges having openings, which with pins arranged on the holding pawls in cooperate in a suitable manner.
- the same mechanism can do that can also be used to release the lock on the swivel joint for the spotlight.
- the push button or the slide of the unlocking mechanism according to the invention is preferably accessible from the outside. This is the case with the light channel system
- the present invention is particularly advantageous because the Luminaire modules can be arranged very deep within the support profile, so that a Solving the modules with a tool is difficult to accomplish.
- the Unlocking mechanism according to the invention thus contributes to a simple Handling the entire system.
- Support profile 1 is for a rimless and flush installation intended. This variant is therefore suitable, for example, for installation in smooth Plaster ceilings or other ceilings with a homogeneous bottom view.
- the support profile 1 has a U-shape open at the bottom with two Side walls 2 and a bottom side 3.
- the two side walls 2 and the bottom side 3 are each formed by separate parts that are modular to the U-shaped Structure.
- the side parts 2 have on their upper sides an arcuate profile 4, in the clamping projections 5 of the yoke-shaped Connecting part 3, which forms the bottom side of the support profile 1, engage.
- the advantage this multi-part design is that the side parts 2 and Connection element 3, viewed in isolation, are very flat and therefore simple Way - for example at the installation site itself using a chop saw - in a desired length can be cut or cut to length. This can Support profiles in individual lengths can be created with little effort.
- the two side parts 2 have a sawtooth-shaped structure in their lower region with several superposed recesses 6, with a stop forming contact surfaces 6a each limit each saw tooth to the outside. As will be explained in detail later, these recesses provide 6 engagement elements represents, in the corresponding pawls to be inserted into the support profile 1 Luminaire modules can intervene. At the lower end of the side walls 2 is also an additional smaller recess 7, the function of which is also further below will be explained later.
- a connection from the Cable runs to the luminaire modules used in the support profile 1 can be.
- a Cover plate 9 are used in the support profile 1, which between two Projections 10 of the two side elements 2 is clamped.
- the rimless, flush installation of the support profile 1 is carried out with the help of several Retaining bracket 11, which are attached to the ceiling 20 of the room and to the then the support profile 1 is screwed on.
- the attachment of a bracket 11 on the ceiling 20 in turn takes place via two support brackets 12, the two Side walls of the bracket 11 are screwed.
- the support bracket 12 on their vertically upward legs 13 offset a hole pattern with several arranged holes 14, the screwing of the support bracket 12 to the Retaining bracket 11 takes place via the correspondingly suitable holes 14.
- the support bracket 12 is attached to the ceiling 20 with the aid of a (not shown) fixing screw, which by the ceiling plate 20 and the horizontal support surface of the support bracket 12 is screwed through.
- a handle 15 is provided with which the bracket 11 can be pulled down in the direction of the ceiling plate 20. After fastening of the bracket 11 on the ceiling 20, the handle 15 before inserting the Support profile 1 removed.
- the mounting profile 1 is fastened to the holding bracket 11 with the aid of Screws 17 through elongated openings 18 in the bottom side 3 of the support section 1 and reach through two holes 19 in the bottom side of the bracket 11.
- Screws 17 are further on the bracket 11
- Two detent springs 21 are provided, which when inserting the support profile 1 in the Retaining bracket 11 through longitudinal openings 22 in the side walls 2 of the support section 1 reach through and lock with it.
- the later locking using the two Screws 17 is then used to finally secure the support profile 1 to the Brackets 11. In this way, a simple installation flush with the ceiling Light channel allows.
- the bracket 11 has the function of holding the Support profile 1 also a stabilizing function and prevented by Increase the lateral rigidity by pushing the two side walls 2 away.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 characterized in that here the support profile 1 is suspended from a ceiling by means of steel cables 26 becomes.
- the support profile 1 is suspended from a ceiling by means of steel cables 26 becomes.
- two are on the outside of the bottom 3 of the support profile 1
- Fastened mounting clips 25 which are attached to the steel cables 26.
- This second variant of the support profile 1 according to the invention is preferably used in Ceiling systems are used, which by nature do not form a homogeneous visible surface.
- both variants are identical.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 shows the variant shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 on the inside of the two Side walls 2 a sawtooth-shaped profile, which means different installation depths for the light modules.
- FIG. 5 shows an elongated lamp module for this purpose 30, which has a rod-shaped fluorescent tube 31 as a light source. Behind the Fluorescent tube 31, a concavely curved reflector 32 is arranged together with the fluorescent tube 31 from an arcuate elongated Reflector housing 33 is held.
- the reflector housing 33 is two curved guide rails 34 having pivoting mechanism pivotable in a frame housing 35 mounted so that pivoting of the lamp 31 together is made possible with the reflector 32.
- Figures 6a and 6b show different pivot positions of the reflector housing 33.
- the light generated by the lamp 31 emitted laterally for example when illuminating walls or at an angle objects arranged below the light channel is desired.
- the pivoted position is the light emitted by the lamp 31 however, radiated homogeneously downwards.
- the reflector 32 can also be designed asymmetrically, which provides better illumination of walls that are to the side of the light channel are arranged, is made possible.
- the lamp module 30 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 it extends the fluorescent tube 31 over the entire length of the housing 35.
- One for operation of the fluorescent tube 31 provided electronic ballast 36 is in this Case within the reflector housing 33 on the side facing away from the light source 31 of the reflector 32 arranged.
- the electronic ballast 36 is in this case thus pivoted together with the fluorescent tube 31 and the reflector 32.
- a Compact fluorescent lamp can be provided as a light source, which is only a part the total length of the lamp module extends.
- it can Fluorescent lamp receiving and possibly swiveling reflector housing occupy only a part of the lamp module 30, while in the other part of the lamp module, an electronic ballast for operating the Fluorescent lamp is arranged, which in this case is not with the lamp is pivoted.
- the luminaire module 30 is held in the support profile 1 with the aid of holding pawls 40, each arranged in the two end areas of the lamp module 30 are and protrude sideways. As shown in Fig. 1, for example, these are Holding pawls 40 complementary to the undercuts 6 of the profile of the two Side walls 2 are formed and accordingly ensure a latching between the lamp module 30 and the support profile 1. As can also be seen in FIG. 1, can the lamp module 30 due to the sawtooth-like structure of the side walls 2nd can be arranged at different installation depths.
- the holding pawls 40 are biased outwards by means of a spring, so that they are at a suitable arrangement with respect to the undercuts 6 of the support profile 1 independently lock with this. In addition, by pretensioning the holding pawls 40 prevents an independent release of the locking so that the Luminaire modules 30 are held securely in the light channel. Solving the Locking takes place through an unlocking mechanism, which is subsequently based on the Figures 7a and 7b to be explained.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 Luminaire module 30, Fig. 7a in the assembled state and Fig. 7b in Exploded view.
- the end area basically consists of an end plate 41, which is rigidly connected to the housing of the lamp module, and one on the End plate 41 arranged by means of screws 43 but opposite to the end plate 41 Slider 42 which can be moved up and down.
- the movability of the slider 42 opposite to the end plate 41 is arranged by elongated in the end plate 42 Bores 44 defined.
- the end plate 41 also serves to hold two holding pawls 40 which are in one Longitudinal direction of the end plate 41 is also slidably mounted and over a Compression spring 45 are biased outwards. They are also parallel to the two Holding pawls 40 two latches 47 stored in the end plate 41, which, however, for the Fastening of the lamp module 30 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 has no function to have. In particular, in the case shown here, the two bolts 47 are not behind biased outside. The task of these two bars 47, to which in the Fig. 7a and 7b variant could also be dispensed with, is further below explained in more detail.
- Both the holding pawls 40 and the latch 47 demonstrate inside projecting pins 46 and 48, which through corresponding openings 49 and 50 in reach through the slider 42, as shown in FIG. 7a.
- On the slider 42 is also a further inwardly projecting pin 51, the function of which however, is also only explained below.
- the mode of operation of the release mechanism for releasing the latching between the support profile 1 and the lamp module 30 is as follows. Will be on the slide 42 exerted no force, the two holding pawls 40 by the Compression spring 45 pressed outwards, so that the arrangement shown in Fig. 7a results. If a force is now exerted on the top of the slide 42 and this is followed pressed down, the pins 46 act with the obliquely arranged openings 49 of the Slider 42 together such that the pins 46 are pressed inwards and thus the Holding pawls 40 are retracted. Depressing the slide 42 causes thus retracting the pawls 40 and thus releasing the locking with the Support profile 1.
- Luminaire module 30 can be removed from the support profile 1 without further measures. If the slide 42 is then released again, it now presses again predominantly spring force, the two holding pawls 40 to the outside and the slide 42 upwards, so that again the arrangement shown in Fig. 7a results.
- the actuating mechanism shown thus enables a simple tool-free removal of the luminaire modules arranged in the support profile.
- there is no direct access to the to release the locking connection Locking elements necessary This is particularly advantageous if the Luminaire module was inserted very deeply in the support profile 1, since here a loosening of the Connection with tools is difficult to achieve.
- the underside of the support profile Light influencing agents such as To provide grids or colored cover plates, which provides a wide range of design options for the light channel.
- Fig. 8 shows two lamp modules 60 of another type, which is used in the Support profile 1 according to the invention is suitable.
- An emitter 61 serves as the light source here which is rotatably and pivotally mounted in an end region of the housing 62.
- the remaining area of the housing 62 is controlled by a control unit (not shown) occupied to operate the light source arranged in the radiator 61.
- the lamp 63 and the reflector 64 surrounding them are shared by a reflector housing 65 held, which is completed at the front with a ring 66. That ring 66 also serves to hold disks arranged in front of the lamp 63, in which there are can be, for example, color filters or space protection fuses.
- Adjustment of the radiator 61 is made possible by a double joint which is shown in more detail in Fig. 9 is shown.
- the emitter 61 is turned relative to the Housing 62 of the lamp module 60 by one of two horizontal disks 66 and 67 existing first swivel enables.
- the outside of the housing 62nd arranged first disc 66 is shown in Fig. 8 and with four pins 68 with the connected second disc 67, which is arranged in the interior of the housing 62.
- Both disks 66 and 67 can be applied with little effort compared to the Housing 62 are rotated to the radiator 61 in a desired rotational position bring.
- a pivoting of the radiator 61 is caused by one on the inner pane 67 articulated arm 72 allows. This allows the radiator 61 in a any position on an object to be illuminated.
- the radiator 61 is in the event that the Luminaire module 60 was mounted very deep in the support profile 1, at least partially or even entirely within the light channel. The emitter 61 would then be pivoted such that it irradiates the inner region of the support profile 1, so this would lead to undesirable heating of this. For this reason the lamp module 60 shown in FIG. 9 has a special locking mechanism on, which limits an adjustment of the radiator 61 in a suitable manner so that the previously described case cannot occur.
- FIGS. 7a and 7b show this now extended mechanism, that of the one shown in FIGS. 7a and 7b Mechanism is very similar. The main difference here is that now also the two lower bolts 47 to the outside via a compression spring 73 are biased. The other elements correspond to those already shown in FIGS. 7a and 8b and also have the same function. It should be noted that this modified end region, in which the lower bars 47 are also prestressed, in the light module 60 only in the end region adjacent to the radiator 61 is used. The opposite end region 74, however, is identical to the front parts of the lamp module 30 shown in Fig. 5, i.e. here too the lower bolts 47 have no function.
- Another component of the locking mechanism to block the adjustment options for the radiator 61 is also one of the horizontal disk 67 of the swivel joint edge 69 standing vertically upward, the one two opposite ones Notches 70 and four elongated openings 71, the arrangement of which in Fig. 9 is shown. These notches 70 and openings 71 form together with the Pins 48 of the bolt 47 and the arranged on the slide 42 pin 51 den Locking mechanism, which are explained below with reference to Figures 11 and 12 should.
- 11a shows the lamp module 60 arranged in the support profile 1 in section
- 11b shows the arrangement of pins 48 and 51 in this case with respect to FIG Disc 67 under supervision.
- Luminaire module 60 in the lowest position within the support profile 1, so that the Holding pawls 40 in the lowermost recess 6 of the sawtooth-like profile of the two Engage the side parts 2 of the support profile 1.
- two bars 47 arranged at the level of the smaller recesses 7 and are by the spring force of the compression spring 73 is pressed outward so that it is in this Engage recesses 7.
- the slide 42 is thereby in its uppermost Position with respect to the housing 62.
- the ones arranged on the bolts 47 are then located Pins 48 in a position in which they are outside the upstanding wall 69 of the horizontal disc 67 lie.
- the pin 51 arranged on the slide 42 is located also in a position above the edge 69 so that neither the pin 51 engage the notches 71 and the pins 46 in the openings 71 of the edge 69.
- the result of this is that the disk 67 can be freely rotated relative to the housing 62.
- a pivoting of the radiator 61 over the articulated arm 72 is also in this Position not hindered. Accordingly, the radiator 61 is in the event that Luminaire module 60 is in the lowest position within the support profile 1, free adjustable.
- the locking between the lamp module 60 and the support profile 1 is released thus only possible if the radiator 61 has previously been arranged by the arrangement of the Notches 70 predetermined rotation position was brought.
- This turning position is characterized in that the pivot axis of the radiator 61 parallel to Longitudinal axis of the support profile 1 is, so that - as later with reference to FIGS. 13a to 13c is explained, with a recessed arrangement of the lamp module 60 Adjustment options for the radiator 61 are limited by the support profile 1.
- the lamp module 60 can removed from the support profile 1 or moved to a lower position in the support profile 1 as is the case, for example, in FIG. 12a.
- the holding pawls 40 by spring force again outwards into the corresponding undercuts 6 of the sawtooth-like profile pressed so that the lamp module 60 is locked with the support profile 1 again.
- the two latches 47 no longer move completely out of the Front area of the lamp module 60, because the upper area of the profile of the Side walls 2 has no opening corresponding to the recess 7.
- the pins 48 of the latches 47 do not become the pins 46 of the holding pawls 40 pushed more outwards.
- starting position is still possible because the openings 50 of the Slider 42 for the pins 48 in contrast to the elongated shape of the openings 49 for the pins 46 of the holding pawls 40 have a triangular shape.
- the locking mechanism ensures that the radiator in the event that the lamp module 60 is not in the outermost position within the support profile 1 is held in a rotational position in which the pivot axis of the radiator is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the lamp module 60 or the support profile 1. Which resulting effects on the adjustment options for the radiator 61 are to be explained below with reference to FIGS. 13a to 13c.
- 13a first shows the situation in which the lamp module 60 is in the lowest Position within the support profile 1 is arranged. As previously explained, in in this position the swivel joint for the radiator is not blocked, i.e. the steel 61 can be freely rotated and - as shown - swiveled freely.
- Fig. 13b shows a case in which the lamp module 60 within the support profile little has been moved up. Twisting of the radiator 61 is - as before explained - no longer possible and the radiator 61 is inevitably in one Position in which its pivot axis is parallel to the support profile 1. However, since the the locking mechanism previously explained does not apply to the swivel joint for the radiator 61 accesses, pivoting of the radiator 61 is still possible. This Pivoting is, however, by the dimensions of the support profile 1 and Reflector housing 63 of the radiator 61 limited.
- the locking of the swivel thus makes the possible Predetermined pivoting direction and indirectly pivoting of the radiator 61 suppressed the further the lamp module 60 is sunk into the support profile 1.
- a pivoting in the longitudinal direction of the support profile 1 is only possible if the lamp module 60 is in the lowest position.
- the locking mechanism according to the invention an unintentional irradiation of the Avoid the interior of the light channel.
- This locking mechanism also stands out just like the unlocking mechanism due to its simple structure and can can be operated in a simple manner.
- the present invention thus provides an overall concept for Light channel system represents a variety of application and lighting options offers and is characterized by easy handling.
