Zu diesem Zweck sind die Druckbogenanleger 3 mit steuerbaren Elektromotoren ausgerüstet, mit denen die einzelnen Druckbogenanleger, beispielsweise aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften der Druckbogen, an die Bewegung bzw. Geschwindigkeit der Fördervorrichtung angepasst werden können.
Im Interesse kurzer Betriebs-, Rüst-, Montage- und Austauschzeiten sind die Druckbogenanleger 3 in einem Maschinengestell 8 lösbar befestigt, wobei mit dem Maschinengestell 8 die Fördervorrichtung 2 verbunden ist, entlang welcher die gesammelten Druckbogen unterhalb der Druckbogenanleger 3 transportiert werden.
In Fig. 2 ist ein Maschinengestell 8 gezeigt, das zur Aufnahme von zwei Druckbogenanlegern 3 ausgeführt ist; dieses dargestellte Maschinengestell 8 kann auch als Gestellteil 9 für eine Sammeleinrichtung 1 mit mehr als zwei Druckbogenanlegern 3 verwendet werden. Hierzu werden mehrere Gestellteile 9 aneinandergereiht und fest miteinander verbunden.
Das in Fig. 2 dargestellte Gestellteil 9 ist am linken Ende für den Anbau weiterer Gestellteile 9 ausgebildet, wobei die fehlende Abstützung durch einen Maschinenfuss 10 des anschliessenden Gestellteils 9 beigestellt wird, und das Ganze als modularer Aufbau für ein Maschinengestell 8 bezeichnet werden kann.
Das gleiche Konstruktionsprinzip des Gestellteils 9 könnte auch für nur einen Druckbogenanleger 3 angewendet werden.
Die Druckbogenanleger 3 sind auf einem ihnen zugehörigen Ständer 11 aufgebaut, der die feste Verbindung eines Druckbogenanlegers 3 mit dem Maschinengestell 8 bzw. einem Gestellteil 9 übernimmt.
Zur Einstellung oder Aenderung des Abstandes zwischen einem Druckbogenanleger 3 und der die Druckbogen sammelnden Fördervorrichtung 2 ist eine Verstellvorrichtung 12 zwischen Druckbogenanleger 3 und Ständer 11 vorgesehen, mit welcher die Höhe und Seitenlage des Druckbogenanlegers 3 gegenüber der Auflageposition eines Druckbogens an der Fördervorrichtung 3 eingestellt oder geändert werden kann. Wie schon oben erwähnt, könnte die Einstellung oder Aenderung des Abstandes manuell oder motorisch, oder mittels programmierter Steuerung vorgenommen werden; solche Möglichkeiten sind bei Sammelheftern nicht unbekannt.
Zur Aufnahme einer Steuervorrichtung der Druckbogenanleger 3 eignet sich der hohl ausgebildete Ständer 11 ganz besonders. In Fig. 2 ist an der Aussenseite des Ständers 11 eine für die Steuervorrichtung bestimmte Steckeranordnung ersichtlich. Aus der Darstellung in Fig. 2 ist eine aus Druckbogenanleger 3, Verstellvorrichtung 12 und Ständer 11 zusammengebaute Anlegereinheit erkennbar, die sich mittels Hubwagen oder Hubstapler oder einem anderen Hebezeug leicht ausbauen resp. ersetzen lässt.
Der Einbau einer Anlegereinheit erfolgt jeweils zwischen zwei Seitenschildern 13, 14 eines Gestellteils 9, der auch für eine Anlegereinheit ausgebildet sein kann und demnach etwa halb so lang wie der dargestellte Gestellteil 9 ist.
Die Gestellteile 9 weisen im Bereich des Maschinenfusses Nivelliervorrichtungen 15 auf, um die Gestellteile 9 gegenseitig auszurichten.
Zur Führung von Druckluft und Vakuum zum Betrieb der Druckbogenanleger 3 weisen die Gestellteile 9 die Seitenschilder 13, 14 parallel zur Fördervorrichtung 2 durchsetzende Rohrleitungsabschnitte 16 auf, an denen Rohrstutzen 17 zur Entnahme eines Mediums angeordnet sind. Weiterhin sind an den Seitenschildern 13 steuerbare Ventile 18 befestigt, mit denen die gewählte Energie über nicht ersichtliche Schläuche den pneumatischen Druckbogenführungen 19 oder Saugern eines Druckbogenanlegers 3 (nicht ersichtlich) zugeführt wird. Die Rohrleitungsabschnitte 16 einer Anlegereinheit lassen sich mittels Kupplungen mit Rohrleitungsabschnitten benachbarter Anlegereinheiten verbinden. Selbstverständlich sind die Rohrleitungen am Ende mit einer Abschlussvorrichtung (nicht ersichtlich) versehen.
FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate a collecting device 1 for a saddle stitcher, which has a plurality of printing sheet feeders 3 along a conveying device 2. The laterally juxtaposed printed sheet feeder 3, of which only one is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, determine the length of a conveying path in the present conveying device 2. The sheet feeder 3 are rotational angle equal or variable driven and controlled synchronously or clock synchronously with the conveyor 2. For this purpose, the sheet feeder 3 are equipped with controllable electric motors, with which the individual sheet feeder, for example, due to the different properties of the sheet, can be adapted to the movement or speed of the conveyor.
In the interest of short operating, set-up, assembly and replacement times, the sheet feeder 3 are detachably mounted in a machine frame 8, wherein the conveyor device 2 is connected to the machine frame 8, along which the collected sheets are transported below the sheet feeder 3.
In Fig. 2, a machine frame 8 is shown, which is adapted to receive two sheet feeders 3; This illustrated machine frame 8 can also be used as a frame part 9 for a collecting device 1 with more than two sheet feeders 3. For this purpose, several frame parts 9 are strung together and firmly connected.
The frame part 9 shown in Fig. 2 is formed at the left end for the cultivation of other frame parts 9, wherein the lack of support is provided by a machine base 10 of the subsequent frame part 9, and the whole can be referred to as a modular structure for a machine frame 8.
The same construction principle of the frame part 9 could also be used for only one sheet feeder 3.
The printed sheet feeder 3 are constructed on an associated stand 11, which takes over the fixed connection of a sheet feeder 3 with the machine frame 8 and a frame part 9.
To adjust or change the distance between a sheet feeder 3 and the sheet collecting the sheet conveying device 2, an adjusting device 12 between the sheet feeder 3 and stand 11 is provided with which the height and lateral position of the sheet feeder 3 against the support position of a sheet on the conveyor 3 set or changed can be. For receiving a control device of the sheet feeder 3, the hollow-shaped stand 11 is particularly suitable. To guide compressed air and vacuum to operate the sheet feeder 3, the frame parts 9, the side plates 13, 14 parallel to the conveyor device 2 passing through pipe sections 16, on which pipe socket 17 are arranged for removal of a medium. Claims (9)

  1.   2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the adjusting device (12) is designed for height adjustment and lateral adjustment relative to the conveying device (2).

  4. Device according to claim 3, characterised in that the printed sheet feeder (3), the stand (11) and at least one part of the adjusting device (12) comprise an interchangeable unit.
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that the stands (11) of the printed sheet feeders (3) are each arranged between side shields (13) of two chassis members (9).
  6. Device according to claim 5, characterised in that the chassis members (9) are designed able to be levelled.
  7. Device according to claim 6, characterised in that the chassis member (9) and the stand (11) are designed able to be joined together.
  8. Device according to claim 7, characterised in that the machine chassis (8) is designed for the guiding of compressed air and vacuum for the printed sheet feeder (3).
