Dadurch wird der oben liegende Druckbogen 7 mit seiner Hinterkante 8 an den Mitnehmer 5' versetzt. Der an dem Mitnehmer 5' anstehende Druckbogen 7 hebt nun anschliessend durch die Fortbewegung der Fördervorrichtung 6 mit der Vorderkante 10 des Druckbogens 7 den Anschlag 33 gegen die Kraft der Drehfeder 34 durch eine Schwenkbewegung aus der Förderbahn des Schenkels 11. Die Kraft der an einer die Schwenkachse des Anschlages 33 bildenden Schraube 42 eingespannten Drehfeder 34 kann durch Drehen der Schraube 42 geändert werden. Der Anschlag 33 kann durch eine lösbare Klemmverbindung 36 sowohl in der Höhe als auch seitlich verstellt werden (siehe Fig. 4).
Am in Förderrichtung F weisenden Ende der Führungsleiste 15 weist diese eine Ausnehmung 37 auf, in die der Anschlag 33 in der Betriebslage ragt, sodass der vom Aufstossen betroffene Schenkel 11 bis zum Auftreffen an der Führungsleiste 15 vollständig anliegen kann.
Zur Begünstigung der Steifigkeit des Schenkels 11 zum Auftreffzeitpunkt ist gegenüberliegend von der Führungsleiste 15 etwa auf der Höhe der Ausnehmung 37 eine Leitschiene 38 vorgesehen, die den Schenkel 11 an die Führungsleiste 15 hält. Die Leitschiene 38 ist an dem Support verstellbar befestigt.
To carry out the process, a feeder A (not shown) on the right-hand side of FIGS. 1 and 2 places a first printed sheet 3 astride the collecting section 2 and then immediately detects it on the rear edge by a driver of the conveying device. Although there are relatively favorable sliding conditions between the support 4 and the first printed sheet 3, feeder A can already be assigned to the push-open device according to the invention, which, however, cannot be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2. Print sheet 3 has already reached the effective area of the push-open device 9, which is symbolically marked with an arrow B, and is inserted with the front edge 10 of one leg 11 between the support 4 and a guide device 12 spaced from it on one side. The guide device 12 is adjustably connected to the frame 14 of the device 1 by a carrying device 13. 1, 2 and 3 show the means used to adjust the guide device 12. A guide bar 15 serving as a line for compressed air forms with the support a lateral guide gap 16, through which a leg 11 or more legs 11 lying one on one another are collected by the conveyor device, which have been released by the upstream investors - here investors A- 6 is transported or become. The front end of the guide bar 15 in the conveying direction forms a funnel-shaped inlet opening 17 with the support 4. Behind the inlet opening 17, a protruding plate 18 is fastened to the outside of the guide bar 15, which for adjusting the height of the guide bar 15 in a guide slot 19 of a lever arm projecting downwards 20 is vertically adjustable. For changing the guide gap 16 with respect to the distance from the guide bar 15, the lever arm 20 is mounted at the upper end in a support 21 fastened to the frame 14. To mount the lever arm 20, a fitting screw 22 screwed to the support 21 is provided, which has a clamped plate spring 23 between the screw head and the lever arm 20 seated on the bearing section. The lower end of the lever arm 20 is provided with a ball handle 24.
A hexagon screw 25 passing through the lever arm 20 meets at the thread-side end on a stop surface 26 formed on the support 21 and causes a change in the distance between the support 4 and the guide bar 15 when rotating. The guide gap 16 can, as can be seen in FIGS the guide bar 15, which is designed as a line, compressed air are supplied. For this purpose, a bore 27 extending to approximately the length of the guide bar 15 is provided, which extends to the rear end of the guide bar 15. The at least in the rear area of the guide bar 15 upwardly directed outlet openings 28 for supplied compressed air line is supplied via connected connection bores 29 in the plate connected to the guide bar 15. The connection bores 29 are in turn connected to a switchable compressed air source (not visible). Additional, downwardly directed and distributed over almost the entire length of the guide bar 15 outlet opening 39 of a separate bore 40 with a separate connection 41 can prevent possible folding of the printed sheets at the corners, in particular the inner hanging legs 11, by compressed air supplied.
The pushing device 9 has a stop device 31, which acts on the leg 11 of a printed sheet 3 and is lifted from the support 4 by the latter, and which forms part of the pushing device 9. The stop device 31 has a stop 33 which can be pivoted on an adjustable support arm or support 32 connected to the frame 14. In the working position, this passes through the conveyor track 2, which is approximately parallel to the collecting section 2, of the leg 11 of a printed sheet 3 hanging down over the guide bar 15 under the pressure of a torsion spring 34 against a swivel limiter 35 on the support arm 32. As a result, the printing sheet 7 located at the top is displaced with its rear edge 8 to the driver 5 '. The pressure sheet 7 at the driver 5 'then lifts the stop 33 against the force of the torsion spring 34 by a pivoting movement from the conveying path of the leg 11 by the movement of the conveying device 6 with the front edge 10 of the pressure sheet 7. The force of the one on the Swing axis of the stop 33 forming screw 42 clamped torsion spring 34 can be changed by turning the screw 42. The stop 33 can be adjusted both in height and laterally by a releasable clamping connection 36 (see FIG. 4).
At the end of the guide bar 15 pointing in the conveying direction F, the guide bar 15 has a recess 37 into which the stop 33 projects in the operating position, so that the leg 11 affected by belching can rest completely against the guide bar 15 until it strikes.
To favor the rigidity of the leg 11 at the point of impact, a guide rail 38 is provided opposite the guide bar 15, approximately at the level of the recess 37, which holds the leg 11 against the guide bar 15. The guardrail 38 is adjustably attached to the support.

Claims (14)

  1. Device (1) for gathering and conveying printed sheets (3, 7) astride a gathering section (2), constituted by a conveying device (6) that is charged by feeder guides arranged along the gathering section (2) and incorporates a saddle-shaped rest (4) for the printed sheets (3, 7) and power-driven dogs (5), and incorporating a guide mechanism (12) that raises at least one side (11) of a printed sheet (7) placed over the rest (4) or a printed sheet (3), characterised in that arranged on the gathering section (2) is a stop mechanism (31) that juts out into the path of the raised side (11), takes hold of and transfers the printed sheet or sheets (3, 7) by the leading edge (10) in the direction of travel, and is adapted to be switched off by the printed sheets (3, 7) being conveyed.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that a transfer mechanism (9) constituted by the guide mechanism (12) and limit stop mechanism (31) is operatively associated with at least the feeder guide (B) that follows the first feeder guide (A) in the direction of travel (7) of the printed sheets (3, 7).
  3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the guiding mechanism (12) is arranged on at least one side of the saddle-shaped rest (4) and forms with the latter a guide aperture (16) for the sides (11) of gathered printed sheets (3, 7).
  4. Device according to claim 3, characterised in that the guide aperture (16) is at least variable by laterally adjusting the guide mechanism (12).
  5. Device according to either of claims 3 and 4, characterised in that the guide mechanism (12) is configured as a line or lines (27, 40) carrying compressed air, with outlets (28, 39) directed upwards and/or downwards as necessary.
  6. Device according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that in the direction of travel (F) the end that is situated at the front of the guide mechanism (12) constructed in the form of a guide bar (15) is configured to act as a funnel-type inlet (17).
  7. Device according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the limit stop mechanism (31) incorporates a latch-type limit stop (33) which, viewed in the direction of travel (F), operates on the leading edge (10) of at least one side (11) of the printed sheets (3).
  8. Device according to claim 7, characterised in that the limit stop (33) is adapted to be lifted against a force out of the path of the sides (11 ) of the printed sheets (3) by the leading edge (10) of the printed sheets (3) being conveyed.
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterised in that the force that moves the limit stop (33) into the operating position can be varied.
  10. Device according to either of claims 8 and 9, characterised in that the operating position of the limit stop (33) is determined by a swivel limit mechanism (35).
  11. Device according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the limit stop (33) is attached to an adjustable support member (32).
  12. Device according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the end of the guide bar (15) located at the rear in the direction of travel (F) incorporates a recess (37) that is operatively associated with the limit stop (33).
  13. Device according to any of claims 7 to 12, characterised in that a guard rail (38) operating on the sides (11) of the printed sheets (3) that are lifted sideways from the rest (4) is operatively associated with the guide mechanism (12) in the direction of travel (F) ahead of the limit stop (33), or rather in the region of the outlets (28) provided for the compressed air.
  14. Method for gathering and conveying printed sheets astride a gathering section on which are arranged a plurality of feeder guides that charge a conveyor device (6) consisting of a saddle-shaped rest and drivers (5) attached to a revolving traction unit one after the other with printed sheets (3, 7) at least one of whose sides (11) is kept away from the rest (4), characterised in that the side (11) is only placed onto the rest (4) once a limit stop mechanism (31) directed at the leading edge (10) of the printed sheet (3) has operated.
