Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bookbinding method of a saddle stitch book with high safety and little damage, and an improvement of the saddle stitch book.
[0002]
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
For example, among the textbooks for elementary school students lent by the Ministry of Education, the curled-up textbook is exposed as it is inside the textbook. However, since there is a risk of pulling out the staples and breaking up the book, or injuring the fingertips while playing mischief, the Ministry of Education recently has been using the Instructs the saddle-stitching from the inside to the outside. However, this kind of saddle-stitched book, as is well known, is saddle-stitched by the body signature feeder, cover signature feeder, and the corresponding two-fold eclectic feeding chain mechanism and stitcher mechanism, and is used as a three-way cutter. However, it is not possible to obtain a reverse saddle-stitch textbook as instructed by the Ministry of Education, if you use a conventional device and fold it as it was before. In the manufacturer, the signature is first collated to the transport chain mechanism by the cover signature feeder, contrary to the conventional one, and then the text signature is collated sequentially on this. Saddle-stitched by the stitcher mechanism in the same way as the conventional binding method, the entire saddle-stitching textbook is folded again in the opposite direction, and the book is stretched over the entire length of the back of the book to cover the bent end of the binding needle that appears on the surface. Cross tension I had gotten a reverse in spelling textbook perform the three-way cutting from.
However, since the folds themselves are mechanically folded, the folds are strong and sharp, and the saddle-stitched book obtained by stacking a large number of folds with such folds from the folds again. Folding in reverse is a difficult task, and it is impossible to completely flip it along the first fold, so when you open the obtained book, the pictures on the adjacent pages do not agree. There are many inconveniences such as misalignment or unnecessary part of other pages exposed, especially in the case of a map, etc. In addition, there was a problem that the cost was increased due to an increase in the number of processes.
[0003]
In response to such a problem, a hollow needle having a screw groove on the outer periphery is pierced upward from the lower side of the eclectic group operated on the guide plate having a mountain shape, and the liquid discharged from the hollow needle Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 47-29445 discloses a means for performing saddle stitching without using a staple by allowing an adhesive to penetrate into the piercing hole. It is recognized that the saddle-stitched book obtained by this apparatus is safe and inexpensive because the staples are not exposed and the pictures are not damaged by the staples, and the staples are not used. However, since the hollow needle is provided with a thread groove, when this hollow needle is pulled out while rotating, it may cause an inward crease in the fold and impair the aesthetics such as the picture. In addition, there are inconveniences that the finish cutting is performed by three-way cutting before the liquid adhesive is dried, the pages of the middle folded portion are bonded, and the page is damaged when the book is opened. However, there is a problem that the cost of books is high overall.
[0004]
Furthermore, a saddle stitch bookbinding apparatus using a saddle stitching machine performs saddle stitching and bookbinding by a stitcher mechanism after stacking a signature as a cover sheet on the upper side of a group of folded signatures. It is a thing. This kind of thing is bad because the staple appears on the back side of the cover. However, in recent years, there is a saddle-stitching book in which only the front cover is glued with glue without using the saddle stitching machine to bind the cover at the same time as other folds. A book with no cover is bound to the book with a glue by another machine, and this type of book is not only inefficient but also expensive because it is divided into at least two bookbinding operations. There was an economic inconvenience such as the need for a bookbinding machine.
[0005]
[Prior art and its problems]
As means for solving the problems as described above, the reverse saddle stitching device disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-5900 and the cover shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-29169 are bound and bound, and the binding needle does not appear on the surface. Such a saddle stitch binding apparatus has been proposed by the present applicant. The former reverse saddle-stitching device collates text folds and cover folds, which are sequentially supplied from a folding machine (feeder) onto a chevron-shaped guide plate, sequentially by means of two parallel conveying chain mechanisms. The stitcher mechanism is provided in the middle of the conveying chain mechanism line and the saddle stitching is performed by the stitcher mechanism that reciprocates the required stroke along this line. A staple member for saddle stitching is disposed on the lower side of the guide plate, and a collapsing member for the staple needle corresponding to the staple member is disposed on the upper side of the guide plate.
[0006]
In the saddle stitch book obtained by the former reverse saddle stitching device, the bent ends of the binding needle are exposed as they are on the back side surface of the cover, so that the folding of the saddle from the inside of the saddle stitch book can be prevented. However, the bent ends of the staple appearing on the surface are easy for children to be mischievous, rather the risk of breaking the book or injuring the fingertips while mischievous is increased. The issue remains as before.
[0007]
On the other hand, the configuration of the latter saddle-stitch book apparatus is a pusher plate that horizontally runs horizontally with respect to the machine frame and engages and operates on both sides of the upper end of the rear edge of the signature that is suspended at equal intervals. A desired number of eclectic feeders are arranged above the upper end of the endless chain provided with a stitcher mechanism, and a stitcher mechanism is arranged on the lower side of the elongate feeder group so that it can be raised and lowered, and the lower side of the stitcher mechanism A gluing device having a coating member that is elastically mounted so as to be movable up and down, in contact with the back side of the surface of the stacked folds that are moving, A cover fold feeder for supplying cover folds is arranged on the lower side, and the lower side of this cover fold feeder is mounted in a vertically movable manner to press the back side of the cover fold from the surface. A pressing roller having a cross section is provided.
[0008]
The saddle-stitch book obtained by this latter device has the advantage that the binding needle appearing on the back surface is concealed by the cover and a high-quality saddle-stitch book is obtained, but the bent ends of the staple are inside. Because it is exposed as it is, it has not yet resolved the risk of injuries to the book's roses and fingertips due to mischief by children. Furthermore, since the means for adhering glue in this apparatus is a contact type, the means for dealing with the change in the thickness of the stacked fold group is complicated, and since the paste is applied over the entire surface of the fold, When trimming the top and bottom of the saddle stitch book by three-way cutting, which is a subsequent process, the glue adheres to the cutter, impairing the cutter's sharpness, and the work of the entire machine, including cleaning the cutter, is forced to be interrupted, hindering bookbinding efficiency There is inconvenience such as doing.
[0009]
An object of the present invention is to provide a bookbinding method capable of rationally preventing the damage of the saddle stitch book caused by mischief of children and the occurrence of injury due to the staple by simple means and further improving the bookbinding efficiency. is there.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The object of the present invention is, as in claim 1, the step of stacking and feeding the body signatures sequentially from the plurality of body signature feeders arranged on the conveying means having the pusher plate below, stroke and to hide the dorsal stroke to obtain a positive binding saddle stitching book by the saddle stitch from above by stitcher at the positive binding by a single structure Tsuzurihari exposed on the back side the inner surface of the Chutsuzurihon folded sheet in binding the binding method in consisting of, said step for concealment is induced transported upward along the elevating guide means disposed in the middle portion of the conveying means, between the positive binding in spelling present and the transfer mechanism A space is formed , and a crease is attached to the center of the space while being conveyed in a direction opposite to the operation of the saddle-stitched bookbinding from another eclectic feeder , and a paste is attached to the upper surface of the fold . It said to submerge the folded sheet of the one-piece space Is supplied to the position of the conveying means, it is conveyed simultaneously positive binding in spelling present on folded sheet and the elevating guide unit which is supplied to the space by the pusher plate of the transfer means, the positive binding in past the elevating guide means A binding that allows the binding book to drop onto the signature on the conveying means, bonds the back inner surface of the saddle stitching book and the back side of the signature binding, and is exposed to the back inner surface of the saddle stitching book. This is accomplished by concealing the needle with a signature.
The above object is as described in claim 2, wherein a parallel two-chain conveying chain mechanism provided with pusher plates at appropriate intervals is horizontally installed on the machine frame, and a plurality of texts are provided at the upper upstream side of the conveying chain mechanism. A stapler that is arranged on the back side of the saddle stitch book by arranging the stitch feeder for arranging the signature signature group on the downstream side of the signature signature feeder is arranged on the downstream side of the signature signature feeder. In the bookbinding apparatus for the saddle stitch book that conceals the paper with a single-sheet signature, the concealment structure guides the saddle stitch booklet upward to a required downstream side of the stitcher and places it between the conveyance chain mechanism. the elevating guide means for forming a space for submerge the folded sheet of the single structure provided, whereas, supplied in the direction opposite to the conveying direction of the conveying chain mechanism folded sheet of the one-piece above the transport chain mechanism While providing an eclectic feeder Means for attaching a fold in the center of the folded sheet adjacent the downstream side of the folded sheet feeder, the folded sheet into the space induced transport, dorsal side of the conveying means and folded sheet supplied to the conveyance chain mechanism This is achieved by sequentially providing glue spraying means for spraying the glue on the sheet.
[0011]
