Description

The invention relates to a device for supplying printed sheets for the production of book blocks, books or the like. Printed matter, arranged with a plurality of above and along a conveyor at intervals one behind the other on a machine frame, the conveyor with individual printing sheets cyclically charging Druckbogenanlegern, which staggered to receive printed sheet associated with a stacking device and which is designed to remove individual sheets from the stacking device by a loading device.

Devices of the type mentioned are used in different applications for collating individual sheets for the production of printed products. Their task is to separate provided in a stack formation area pre-printed products, such as envelopes, folded sheets, cards, CD / DVD or similar sheet products, to collect in a conveyor and transferred to a processing machine, for example one to perfect binder. The conveyor is formed by a transversely to the conveying direction horizontal or inclined channel through which the printed products are pushed by means attached to a traction means drivers. The channel is designed to be open at the top and the pressure precursors are located therein by their own weight and / or guide arrangements in a stable position. Alternatively, the pre-printed products can also be dispensed to circumferentially driven compartments and collected on this.
In a first prior art, such as in the EP 1 520 817 is described, such devices used for the collection of printed precursors, such as sheets, cards, CD / DVD or similar sheet products to loose book block. For this purpose, arranged along a conveyor feeder with stored in a stack print precursors, which singulate the printing precursors and cyclically feed the conveyor, the stack is oriented perpendicular to the conveying direction. The conveyor has at regular intervals on a peripherally driven traction means mounted receiving points, where the print precursors are fed in the order provided by the investors. The feeders are arranged above the conveyor at short mutual distances, which may be so short that successive feeders overlap in a scaly manner. The disadvantage of this compact design manifests itself in limited accessibility to the conveyor, in the case of maintenance work or in the elimination of disturbances that require intervention in the area of the conveyor.

The EP 536 863 A1 or the EP 536 463 A1 Form a second prior art, in which a means for collating and feeding of different envelopes to a perfect binder is provided. This is required if, in the same production run, different envelopes have to be fed to the book blocks to be bound, depending on the recipient. Along a conveyor investors are arranged with stored in a stack envelopes. The stacks are formed by on a table scaly superimposed envelopes, which are separated by the feeder and fed to the conveyor, wherein a machine control those. An investor who contains the sort of envelopes intended for a printed product to be produced. As in the described first prior art, the feeders are arranged above the conveyor at short mutual distances, which may also be so short that successive investors overlap in an imbricated manner. In the case of maintenance work or in the elimination of disturbances that require an intervention in the area of the conveyor, also the same disadvantages arise. In a further development of the device described above, it is known that the table is designed to be able to be pushed upwards about a horizontal axis arranged in one of its end regions. This allows free access to the conveyor, with the table having to be emptied in advance and finally refilled, which may require a very large amount of operator intervention. It goes without saying that when processing identical envelopes, all investors can also be used and thus a larger storage capacity of the investors can be achieved.

A system for horizontally moving sheet feeders arranged along a collating machine is disclosed in US Pat WO2008 / 024313A2 , which forms a third prior art disclosed. The configuration of a gathering machine should be able to be adapted to the orders to be processed by moving a feeder. The sheet feeder is fixedly connected thereto via a horizontally displaceable adapter element with a machine frame arranged next to the collection line of the collating machine. In a working position, the center of gravity of the sheet feeder is not located above the machine frame but in the vicinity of the collection line. Before moving the sheet feeder, the center of gravity of the sheet feeder can be moved with the adapter element on the machine frame. As a result, the fasteners with which the sheet feeder is fixed on the machine frame, can be easily solved without the sheet feeder tilts or must be additionally held with a hoist.

It is an object of the invention, in collecting devices for printed products, with directly above the conveyor overlapping arranged sheet investors, in a simple way to provide free access to the conveyor.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that at least one stacking device of a printing sheet feeder decoupled from the feed device by means of a guide arrangement connected to the machine frame is displaceable into an inoperative position provided laterally of the conveyor.

The Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show a collating device 1 for feeding of printed sheets 3 for the production of book blocks, books or the like. The conveyor 2 connected to the machine frame 10 is essentially formed by a channel and with arranged at regular intervals on a circumferentially driven traction means 14 drivers 13, the respectively supplied from the sheet feeder 4 sheet 3, respectively. Enveloping envelopes along the over the length of the conveyor 2 extending channel sliding. The sheet feeder 4 has to accommodate the staggered in a scale formation 8 supplied sheet 3, a stacking device 5 forming, inclined to the charging device 6 conveyor table 9. At least the stacking device 5, resp. the conveyor table 9 of the sheet feeder 4 is transverse to the conveying direction F in the direction of displacement by means of a guide assembly 7 connected to the machine frame 10 and formed by guides 12 V in a side of the conveyor 2 provided Aussersbetriebslage displaceable. Preferably, the conveyor table 9, resp. the stacking device 5 is decoupled from the loading device 6 in an effective manner in the out of operation position provided on the side of the conveyor 2. In a further embodiment, it is provided that the conveyor table 9 can be decoupled from the loading device 6 so as to be displaceable counter to the conveying direction F. This is according to Fig. 1 the conveyor table 9 with rollers 19 mounted on rails 18 connected to the machine frame 10 horizontally or slightly rising against the conveying direction F slidably, with any other type of linear guides is also conceivable. Alternatively, after Fig. 2 the displaceability of the conveyor table 9 can be achieved by means of a pivotable about pivot axes 16 lever 17 formed hinge assembly 15. The end positions of the levers 17 are preferably selectable such that the axes 20 in the two end positions lie on different sides to the pivot axes 16 and, as a result of gravity, both end positions are stable. The drive for the displacement of the conveyor table 9 in the conveying direction F and / or displacement direction V can be done manually, electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically. Also conceivable is a displacement of the stacking device in a direction between the conveying direction F and displacement direction V, respectively. a superposition of the movements of the two directions, a rotation about a substantially vertical axis or a lifting. The FIG. 3 to FIG. 5 show a collating device 1, for collating sheet 3 in a predetermined order to loose book block, which are then fed to an adhesive binder and bound by this. The collating device 1, which is connected with the adhesive binder in a manner that promotes effective handling, has at least one printed sheet feeder 4, wherein the sheet feeder 4 a staggered the printed sheets 3 receiving stacking device 5 and the printing sheet 3 of the stacking device 5 and taking a conveyor 2 approximately in the same direction to the conveying direction F feeding feeder 6 has. The printed sheets 3 are separated by the sheet feeder 4 and fed to a arranged below the sheet feeder 4 conveyor 2. The conveyor 2 connected to the machine frame 10 is essentially formed by drivers 13 which are arranged at regular intervals on a traction means 14 driven in rotation and which push the printed sheets 3 supplied by the sheet feeder 4 along a channel extending over the length of the conveyor 2. In an alternative embodiment of the conveyor 2 may be formed as fixed at regular intervals on the traction means 14 filing tables on which the sheet 3 are collected to loose book block. In terms of a space-saving design, the sheet feeder 4 are arranged with such short distances one behind the other that they overlap vertically partially. To provide easy access to the conveyor 2 is after Fig. 5 the stacking device 5 or the charging device 6 of the sheet feeder 4 mounted on a machine frame 10, formed by guides 12 guide assembly 7, mounted displaceably in the direction V transverse to the conveying direction F and displaceable in a side of the conveyor 2 provided Ausserbetriebslage. In the gathering device 1 according to the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 the stacking device 5 and the loading device 6 are inseparably connected to each other and thus the sheet feeder 4 as a unit in a side of the conveyor 2 provided for decommissioning position displaceable. Although in all the Fig. The Ausserbetriebslage seen in the conveying direction F is provided on the left of the conveyor 2, the invention also relates to a shutdown position on the opposite, right side of the conveyor. 2
