Definitions

  • the invention relates to an extended nip roll press for dewatering a fibrous web according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such an extended-nip roller press is known for example from DE 35 03 240 C2, which has a driven counter-roller, which is assigned a fixed support body with a press shoe guided therein.
  • the press shoe is hydraulically pressed against the counter roll.
  • To the support body is passed around an endless roll shell.
  • the press shoe forms with the corresponding roller portion of the backing roll an extended press nip, through which the fiber web to be dewatered, embedded between webs of material is guided together with the roll shell in the web running direction.
  • the press shoe has an upper part which has a slideway along which the roll jacket runs.
  • the slideway is selectable depending on the desired Preßdruckverlaufs on the press nip width and gives the press shoe an effective shoe width.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a long-nip roller press of the type mentioned, the roll shell is subject to less wear.
  • an extended-nip roll press which stabilizes the Walzenmantellauf the extended-nip press roll by direct support of an outer roll shell portion of the backing roll, so that Walzenmantelverform12.
  • the roll shell is guided in the area between the effective shoe width of the press shoe and the Endabitesbefest Nathan by the support ring in an orbit, which leads the Walzenmantelauslenkung edge of the nip on the diameter of the end walls.
  • a substantially kink-free transition of the roll shell from the nip to the respective Endabismebefestist can be ensured.
  • the cost advantage resulting from the use of narrow webs instead of alternatively over the entire width of the backing roll extending webs remains intact.
  • the support ring is formed such that it allows a continuous extension of the roll shell outside the nip.
  • the support of the roll shell edge side of the nip preferably takes place by means of a radial thickness of the support ring, which has at least beßschuh character a height which connects to the in the press nip by the lying on the mating surface material web (s) and the arranged fibrous web conditional height.
  • the roll shell thus undergoes a support which is adapted to the predetermined in the press nip location.
  • the support ring can not only support the roll shell, but also lead simultaneously, by a targeted radial change in thickness of the support ring, whereby the Walzenmantelausschung defined by the press nip for Endabitesbefest Trent is executed. Since the roll shell is preferably inflated using at least a slight overpressure, the roll shell attaches itself to the support ring of the counter roll and follows its guide path in the transition region between effective shoe width and Endabexcellentbefest combat.
  • the mating roll further has, in each case following its mating surface on an annular recess, whereby the web edges of the guided with the fibrous web material web (s) receive a freewheel.
  • the felts preferably used as material web (s) have at their Brurändem often thickenings, which originate from selvedges, edges, etc., and thus are production-related. To avoid prints on the roll shell, the web edges therefore preferably run over a free space. A sufficient axial extension of the free space ensures that remain at an elongation or shortening of the web during operation, the web edges of the webs of material over the free space. In addition, the web overhang simplifies the position control of the material web (s).
  • Fig. 1 shows an extended-nip roll press for dewatering a fibrous web, in particular a paper web, which may be part of a papermaking plant. Shown and explained below is a left half of the extended-nip roll press. The right half is formed mirror-symmetrically to the dividing line T, so that the following statements apply to the left half for the right half accordingly.
  • the extended-nip roll press comprises an extended-nip press roll 1 and a driven counter-roll 2, which cooperate in a press nip 3.
  • a press nip 3 Through the press nip 3, at least one material web is guided together with the fibrous web to be pressed. If only one material web is provided, it is a so-called simply felted press.
  • two webs 4, 5 are provided, between which the fibrous web 6 to be pressed is guided.
  • the material webs 4, 5 are preferably made of felt.
  • the extended-nip press roll 1 comprises a fixed support 7 and a roll shell 8 which can be rotated about the support and consists of a flexible material, eg rubber or plastic.
  • the roll shell 8 is formed tubular and fixed with its end portions on rotatably seated on the support 7 end walls 9 to a closed long-nip press roll. 1 to build.
  • a space 10 between the carrier 7 and roll shell 8 is preferably supplied with compressed air, whereby the roll shell 8 is inflated to obtain a cylindrical shape.
  • a press shoe 11 On the support 7, a press shoe 11 is provided, which is supported on a support strip of a plurality of spaced-apart hydraulic support elements 12 on the carrier 7 and can be pressed in the direction of the counter-roller 2.
  • the press shoe 11 has an effective shoe width 13 (compare Fig. 2 and Fig. 3), which forms a sliding surface on which the roll shell 8 is supported in the region of the press nip 3.
  • the support elements 12 are in a known manner via pressure medium lines 14 to a hydraulic pressure means, e.g. Oil or water, connected.
  • the press shoe 11 forms with the corresponding shell portion of the backing roll 2 the extended press nip 3, through which the two webs 4, 5 and to be dewatered fibrous web 6 are performed together with the roll shell 8 in a web running direction.
  • the counter roll 2 is here designed as a bending compensating roll with a fixed roll core 20 and a roll core 20 rotatable roll shell 19, which is supported on the edge side via pivot bearings 21, 22 and along its lateral surface via a support bar hydraulic support elements 18 on the roll core 20.
  • a roll neck end 15 is mounted in a bearing 16.
  • An unillustrated drive can attack the roll shell 19 in a known manner.
  • the roll shell 19 is also preferably provided with an elastic coating 17.
  • the hydraulic support elements 18 are connected in a known manner to pressure medium lines 23.
  • the counter-roller 2 has one of the effective shoe width 13 of the press shoe 11 opposite counter surface 24, which is the press nip 3 on the counter-roller. 2 limited.
  • the mating surface 24 is here formed on the upper side of the elastic covering 17, which engages with the material web 5 facing it (see FIG.
  • the counter-roller 2 also has, in each case at the edge and at a distance adjacent to the effective shoe width 13 of the press shoe 11 opposite mating surface 24 on a radially projecting support ring 25 which forms an abutment for direct support of an outer roll shell portion 28 on the mating roll 2.
  • the radial thickness of the support ring 25 is selected such that a continuous extension of the roll shell 8 between Preßschuh 11 and Endabroughbefest Trent is achieved at the end walls. This is achieved as shown in FIG. 1, characterized in that the radial thickness of the support ring 25 picks up the height of the roll shell 8 in the press nip 3 assumes due to its positioning on the webs 4, 5 and the intermediate fibrous web 6.
  • the support ring 25 thus preferably has a Radial thickness, which transmits the predetermined from the material webs 4, 5 and the fibrous web 6 roll jacket layer in the edge region of the backing roll 2.
  • the axial extent of the support ring 25 extends to the front end of the roll shell 19 of the backing roll 2 and may also extend beyond.
  • the radial thickness of the support ring 25 is preferably only at least press shoe side in the region of a height formed by the fibrous web and the receiving webs of material on the counter-roller, and incidentally falls outwards in each case.
  • the roll shell 8 receives a guide in the direction of attachment to the end wall 9, relative to the roll shell 8 is pressed in the press nip. Since in the interior 10 of the roll shell, preferably an at least slight internal pressure prevails, the roll shell 8 is outside pressed the pressing gap 3 against the support ring 25, as the arrows illustrated in Fig. 2 and 3 illustrate.
  • the support ring 25 is preferably made of a plastic material, in particular epoxy resin or polyamide.
  • the support ring 25 is spaced from the effective shoe width 13 of the press shoe 11 arranged that an end-side freewheeling section for the fibrous web 6 receiving webs 4, 5 remains on the backing roll 2.
  • the counter-roller 2 in the region of the freewheeling section on an annular recess 29.
  • the resting on the counter surface 24 of the backing roll 2 webs 4, 5 then have such a width that they run with freely overhanging ends on the annular recess 29.
  • the above statements apply to Fig. 1 accordingly.
  • Fig. 3 differs from the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, characterized in that the support ring 25 is integrally formed with the elastic covering 17.
  • the above statements apply to Fig. 1 accordingly.
