Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and apparatus for stacking flat Articles, in particular for stacking printed products.
- the bottom of the Stacking shaft for example, designed rotatable, and it is at least one of the shaft removable intermediate floor provided.
- the false floor is optionally in the stacking shaft lowered and then pulled out of the shaft and thus stacked on it Lowered printed products on the rotated stack.
- the feed stream is also divided into two stack shafts, so that the one slot printed products are fed while a finished stack of the other stack shaft is ejected.
- a stacking device with a stacking shaft is known, wherein the articles to be stacked fed to the stacking shaft from the one side and the stacks optionally from this one side or from the other side of the stacking shaft be ejected.
- CH-473043 is a stacking device known in which the stacks are created on a conveyor belt equipped with stops, wherein the conveyor belt for the stacking is stationary and for the ejection of a finished Stack is driven. Both mentioned stacking devices have auxiliary devices on, which take over the stacking during ejection or prevent.
- the invention is now the task of a method for stacking flat To create objects, the device with very simple means, the take up little space, is feasible and still high unit performance can provide. Furthermore, it is the object of the invention to provide a device for Implementation of the inventive method to create.
- the flat objects are the stacking shaft Loose on a feed pad or between two feed pads held clamped, for example, in imbricated formation with overhead, leading edges, fed.
- the feeder pad is for example a conveyor belt and guides the objects obliquely from above against a feed side the stacking shaft and advantageously over the stacking shaft, where the feed sheet ends.
- the flat objects are fed through the feed pad driven beyond its end against the feed side driven opposite side of the stacking shaft and fall from the feed pad in the stacking shaft, at the latest when its leading edge has reached this opposite side.
- the finished stacks are directed in one of the feed direction Ejection direction (ejection direction opposite to the projection of the feed direction on the level of the bottom of the stacking shaft), ie through the feed side the stacking shaft through, ejected.
- Ejection direction ejection direction opposite to the projection of the feed direction on the level of the bottom of the stacking shaft
- a slider whose ejection movement begins at the feed side of the stacking shaft opposite side and directed against the feed side.
- the slide in its starting position returning movement runs outside the stacking shaft, for example under the stacking shaft or laterally from the stacking shaft.
- the inventive Method especially advantageous for stiffer objects.
- Stacking shaft advantageously parallel to its folding edge (that is, for easy folded tabloids or for double-folded newspapers: in the longitudinal direction), because these products have a significantly greater rigidity parallel to the fold edge as transversal to it.
- Such a feeder brings the further advantage that too the Stapelausstossung is directed parallel to the folding edge, in the direction so, in which also the stability of stacks of folded printed products is greatest.
- the inventive method is thus particularly suitable for stacking of folded printed products, these fed parallel to their folded edges and the stack in the opposite direction, in turn, parallel to the fold edges is ejected.
- the printed products are used to create cross stacks advantageously already in a scale flow with alternating groups supplied by correspondingly oriented products, wherein in this scale flow there are already gaps for feeder interruptions or where the printed products temporarily stowed to produce supply interruptions.
- the device for carrying out the method according to the invention has a Stacking shaft and one from diagonally up against the feed side of the shaft leading and over the opening of the stacking shaft (directly on the feed side or between the feed side and opposite side) ending feed sheet on. Further, an opposite direction in one of the feeding direction Ejection direction provided by the stacking shaft movable ejection means, its return movement to its starting position on the supply side opposite Side of the stacking shaft is not passed through the stacking shaft. Possibly The device also has a means for interrupting the supply current of objects.
- FIGS 1 to 3 show successive phases of the preparation of a stack 1 of flat objects 2 according to the inventive method.
- the figures each show a stacking shaft 10 with an ejection means 11, a feed pad 12 (conveyor belt), which leads obliquely from above against the feed side of the stacking shaft 10, and means 13 for interrupting the feed stream during a first part of the ejection of a finished stack from the stacking shaft.
- Figure 1 shows the formation of the stack 1.
- the leading edges of the objects meet immediately above the stacking surface on the supply side opposite side of the stacking shaft, while the trailing edge leaves the end of the feed pad 12 at this time at the latest.
- the leading edge is no longer moved.
- the free fall of the object is guided by the already positioned, leading edge.
- the free fall is longer and also affects the leading edge.
- Figure 2 shows the tray of the last article 2 on the stack 1. From this figure it can be seen that the end of the feed pad 12 at least at this time must have a position that allows the trailing edge of this article, from the feed pad 12th to separate and fall on the stack 1.
- the feeder becomes of objects interrupted, for example, by introducing a defogger 13 in the feed stream of objects 2.
- This stowage means 13 is here directly positioned above the stacking shaft 10. Of course it can continue act upstream.
- Figure 3 shows the ejection of the finished stack 1, which is shown in that position, after its passage, the supply of objects 2 can be restarted. Obviously, the remainder of the ejection movement can be performed without any further supply of articles 2 coming into conflict with the stack 1 to be ejected.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 illustrate the relationship between the orientation and position of the feed pad 12, the stacking path and the stack ejection. Identical parts are designated by the same reference numerals as in FIGS. 1 to 3.
- the feed pad 12 of Figure 4 forms with the bottom of the stacking shaft a feed angle ⁇ and is positioned so that the leading edge of a first article to be stacked (not shown) immediately above the ground the stacking shaft 10 on the supply side opposite side of the Stacking shaft hits.
- a feed angle ⁇ is positioned so that the leading edge of a first article to be stacked (not shown) immediately above the ground the stacking shaft 10 on the supply side opposite side of the Stacking shaft hits.
- ⁇ the leading edge of a first article to be stacked
- the position of the end E of the feed pad 12 is defined by the length L and the Stiffness of the objects to be stacked given in such a way that the trailing Edge of the last item of a stack can still fall from this end.
- the distance between the trailing, upper edge of the stack to the end E of the feed pad 12 must therefore be at least equal for stiff objects as the length of the objects in the feed direction. For flexible items this distance can be smaller.
- the end can be the feed pad 12 optionally during stacking from an initial position E 'moved closer to the stacking shaft 10 in the above-defined end position E. become.
- FIG. 5 shows that the position P is also displaced further against the side of the stacking shaft 10 opposite the feed side, ie the feed interruption necessary for the ejection can be further shortened if the feed direction is not directed against the stack shaft bottom, as shown in FIG is, but the supply side opposite side of the stacking shaft 10 hits at a height H above the stack bottom.
- the optimum parameters are ⁇ and H to determine.
- FIG. 6 shows in a three-dimensional representation an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention.
- the figure shows two superimposed stacking shafts 10 and 10 ', each with a feed pad 12 and 12', on which feed streams of objects to be stacked 2 are supplied.
- the articles 2 are folded printed products with folded edges F.
- the printed products are in the illustrated supply streams in groups of 180 ° rotated before.
- the stream also has gaps L, which are sufficient as supply interruptions for the ejection and possibly exploited for the Stapelausstossung. Between two gaps, several product groups can follow each other without gaps, so that at each gap a finished stack is ejected.
- the resulting stacks 1 and 1 ' are cross stacks.
- FIG. 6 illustrates the particularly advantageous use of methods and Device according to the invention for the stacking of folded printed products, the in a feed stream parallel to their fold edges F and already for formation fed by cross stacks and shows how easy and space saving the device according to the invention.
- the feed stream in which the printed products are rotated in groups by 180 ° and in the gaps the skilled person knows applicable methods.
- a preferred one Method is the subject of a co-pending application for the present application.
- FIG. 7 very schematically shows a further, exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention.
- the supply stream of the articles 2 to be stacked is first fed parallel to the ejection direction and the articles 2 fall in a region above the stacking shaft 10 onto the feed base 12, from which they are conveyed further in the opposite direction and fed to the stacking shaft.
- the great simplicity of the device and the space-saving arrangement comes into the eye.
