Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a weft insertion element for weaving machines stationary supply spools in the area of a fabric edge, with Gripper bars moving in from both sides of the fabric at the same time Reach in the shed and move against each other with the hook heads on the gripper bars, designed as a delivery head or as a slave head, the in the center a weft thread presented by the head of the Hand over the slave head, with means on the bringer head to capture a Weft on the fabric edge and to present this weft in the section, with centers for taking over and clamping the from Bringer head presented weft thread on the slave head, with bevels on the means for presenting and taking over the weft to limit the risk of collision between delivery head and Slave head, with guide surfaces on each gripper head for guiding the same on the warp threads delimiting the shed and with guide rails on each gripper head to guide it on the fins of the reed.
Weft insertion elements of this type are, inter alia, by the
The relative in cross section because of the need for low mass weak and slightly trained gripper bars are made of fiber-reinforced Plastic. The best possible vibration-free guidance is to One with fixed guide means on the side outside of the shed and on the other hand within the shed through the reed and through guide plates engaging in the shed, which in turn have guide rails interact in the head area of the grippers, guaranteed.
The guide rails in the area of the rapier head are the reed facing. You have a guide surface opposite the slats of the Reed and a along the direction of movement of the rapier Groove on the opposite side. This serves to engage the feet of the guide boards mentioned.
Such leadership has not proven itself. The boards must be relative be tightly arranged so that at least in every phase of the movement two of the feet are engaged with the groove. The large one required Number of guide plates that the warp threads in the upper and reach through in the lower compartment level, limits the space for the guidance of these threads during the change of subject. The guide boards mainly splice the large-volume and less rotated Pile threads and u. U. also the binding warp threads. There are errors in Form of stripes in the fabric. The expected effects in terms of Weft insertion performance is not achieved.
In practice, double-carpet weaving machines have prevailed, to assign guide rails to the gripper head, at least only slide on the reed during thread transfer. to Guiding the hook head between the thread levels of the shed guide plates were attached, which were arched against the warp thread sheets are directed. In the event of a deviation of the gripper head from the In the normal path, the warp threads set the hook head a certain amount Resistance to. The gripper heads move at previously acceptable Speeds approximately in the middle of the compartment openings.
You have a lot to improve the guidance of the rapier heads in the shed taut warp threads - e.g. B. the threads of the filling or tension chain - the Path of the gripper heads arranged immediately adjacent. Thereby achieved one - at least in one of two consecutive weft entries operated in one compartment or in one of two at the same time Fan - a smoother running of the gripper heads.
Durch diese Maßnahmen nehmen die Abmessungen des Greiferkopfes im Querschnitt jedoch erhebliche Ausmaße an.The means for taking over and presenting the weft thread on the head and the means for taking over the weft thread and for clamping of the thread up to the subject exit on the opposite side with regard to the mutual interaction in the weft transfer provided in the center with such a game that not even extreme vibrations of the rapier head in the shed Collision of these gripper bars. Take through these measures however, the dimensions of the gripper head in cross section are considerable Dimensions.
To ensure that the gripper heads function properly on a regular basis
one tried not to exceed certain weft insertion frequencies.
The shed has been kept in a size that the
usual speeds for the stroke of the shafts, the stroke of the strands
of jacquard machines and loads that are still acceptable for the weaving shop
revealed. Up to now, the selected parameters have generally been used
- especially by moving the sley parallel to itself
(
The object of the present invention is a weft insertion member with gripper heads that can be moved against each other for the central weft transfer propose that significantly smaller cross-sectional dimensions and in a smaller shed at high weft insertion frequencies low vibration with high reliability can.
This object is solved by the features of
If you also ensure - according to claim 2 - that the vibration possibilities of the rapier heads in the shed thanks to an almost form-fitting Leadership in the shed can be further reduced Rapier heads and the shed (opening angle and / or shed stroke) reduce significantly. While maintaining the high reliability of the Handling the weft thread when inserting the weft becomes the drive elements for shed training and / or for weft threading relieved. With the smaller working strokes for these drive elements in return, higher working speeds can be achieved.
There is also an advantage on weaving machines where three are used at the same time or multiple shots entered in superimposed weaving compartments become. The reduced mass of the gripper heads has an effect here and on the other hand the reduced subject height in a positive sense. Also on these machines, which allow a much greater variety of ties, are higher working speeds than before by the invention possible.
If one forms the centerings according to
Zentrierungen gestattet u. a. die Anwendung einfacher Herstellungsverfahren
The design of the gripper heads and their defined in
reduzierte Abmessungen aufweisen. Die Fachhöhe ist weiter reduzierbar. The modification of the gripper heads according to
With the arrangement of the center of gravity of the gripper head according to
The arrangement of the centering pins on the slave head - essentially parallel to the receiving hook - according to claim 8 optimizes the arrangement the means of presentation and takeover on the gripper heads.
The use of molded plastic parts - according to claim 9 - reduced on the one hand the mass of the gripper heads and on the other hand the manufacturing effort. With an appropriate choice of material, an additional damping effect occurs on.
Claim 10 shows a further design option, the reduction the mass of the gripper head and to reduce the tendency to vibrate when accelerating the rapier into the shed leads into it.

mittels Schrauben 45 aneinander gehalten.The
Der Nehmerkopf 4 besitzt in der Querschittsebene der Greiferstange 40
einen unbeweglichen Mitnehmerhaken 431 und einen federnd beweglichen
Klemmschieber 432.
Kollisionen an seiner Spitze ebenfalls abgerundet. The
Paraliel to the
When both gripper heads 3, 4 face each other in the middle of the compartment

With this design and the way it works, it is possible to

As we see from Figures 1 and 2 and also from Figures 6 and 7
can recognize the possibilities of centering despite the achieved
and described advantages are still limited. It is therefore sought
the possibilities for swinging the rapier heads 3, 4 in the shed
by improving the usual management elements
limit. This applies in particular to the guidance of the gripper heads
3, 4 on the
For this purpose, first the compartment size of the reduced form and Size of the gripper heads 3, 4 adjusted. Furthermore, you have to make sure that significantly more warp threads than previously common in the process of guiding the gripper heads 3, 4 are included.
For this purpose, the gripper heads 3, 4 have in the area of the centering
The
The manner in which the warp threads are guided is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 for different gripper head shapes. It is clearly too recognize that the gripper heads 3, 4 and 5, 6 at obviously the smallest Friction can be guided almost positively in your shed.
As shown in FIG. 3, the centering 31, 41 is located laterally outside
of the cross-sectional area of the gripper bars 3, 4, their
Dimensions can be chosen relatively small. They reach the top management
inside and thus ensure small compartment opening angles and a relative
small stroke of the
mittels Weblade.4 is a variant of the present

The execution of a to the
The
The advantage of this variant is that almost all
Elements of the gripper heads 5, 6 on the longitudinal axis of the gripper bars 30,

the rapier heads 5, 6 noticeable in the shed where the
In diesem Fall
The centering
Figures 6 and 7 show the same working elements as Fig. 1. One separate description of this figure is not required. The way of working and the structure are based on the description formulated for FIG. 1 became easy to understand.
The essence of the present invention is that the gripper heads 3, 4; 5, 6 almost form-fitting in a very limited shed, so the natural deviations of the gripper heads per se on one Minimum are reduced.
Die verbleibenden Abweichungen werden durch die Zentrierungen 31,41;
kleinsten Abmessungen ausgestaltet werden können.The remaining deviations are indicated by the centering 31, 41;

gegenseitigen Bewegungsrichtung elastisch ausgebildet.
