Description

The invention relates to a rapier weaving machine with at least a gripper belt that drives a gripper that by means of Fasteners is held and its center of mass lies above the top of the gripper belt, and with a drawer that carries a reed and on the Guide means are attached, the guides for the gripper belt have, with guides on the reed facing away Side of the top of the gripper belt, guides the Bottom of the gripper belt and guides side flanks one downward projecting rib are assigned.

A rapier weaving machine of the type mentioned above is used the applicant for the rapier weaving machines currently marketed. The construction corresponds essentially U.S. 5,413,151. In the extension of the gripper belt is a Guide part attached, in the longitudinal center of a gripper attached is. The guide part, the width of which is the width of the Corresponds to the rapier belt on the reed facing away A rib protruding downwards. The guide part and the rapier belt are attached to the sley hook-shaped guide means led to reed are open. The hook-shaped guide means have Guides, the top of the guide part and the gripper belt and the underside of the guide part and the Gripper belt are assigned. Another tour is the side surface of the gripper belt facing away from the reed and assigned to the guide part. Guided tours are also provided which guide the rib of the guide part in the transverse direction, so that the guide part is guided on all sides with the gripper is. This construction works reliably. There is a problem however, in that with this type of construction - as with all other practically used types - relative Rapid wear occurs so quickly that the guide part must be replaced.

With another practical construction, such as that from the US 4,834,146 is known are hook-shaped guide elements attached to the sley, which is the top and bottom enclose the gripper belt almost completely. The Bottom of the gripper belt is one in the longitudinal direction running groove provided in the guides of the hook-shaped Guide means engage so that the gripper belt also in Is guided in the transverse direction. Because the hook-shaped guide means The gripper is almost completely enclosing the gripper belt attached to the side of the gripper belt. The side arrangement of the gripper on the gripper belt leads to considerable Cross loads on the gripper belt, especially when braking and accelerating so that also a relatively strong one Wear occurs. If a certain level of wear the entire gripper belt must be reached with this type of construction be replaced.

To the wear and other disadvantages of the type after the To avoid US 4,834,146, it is also through EP 0 709 505 A1 known, two different instead of the hook-shaped guide means To provide types of guidance, of which the Guide means of one type of the top of the gripper belt and the guide means of the other kind of the bottom of the Gripper belt are assigned. The guided tours can be done here of the two guide means are ground, but remains the disadvantage of the lateral arrangement of the grippers and the resulting stresses in the transverse direction.

To the transverse loads of the type according to the US 4,834,146 and the type according to EP 0 709 505 A1, it is known from EP 0 715 009 A1, only the underside to guide the gripper belt by means of guide elements and the gripper in the middle on the top of the gripper belt to arrange. The guide elements engage in a groove on the underside of the gripper belt. The gripper should be designed in this way be that its focus is with the focus of the gripper belt coincides or is still below this. However, it is has not been disclosed how a gripper is designed must be so that its focus in the focus or is below the center of gravity of the gripper belt.

It is also known from US 5,183,084, the movement of a Gripper belt, on the end of which a gripper is attached in the center is to partially overlap with the movement with the guide means are inserted into the shed. at of this type, two types of guide means are provided, one of which is just a guide for the bottom of the Gripper belt and the other a guide for an upper side edge, a side surface and a guide for the edge area the bottom has. With this type of construction it is Gripper belt over a large part of its movement only on the Bottom supports so that there is a risk that the gripper belt, especially when accelerating and braking twisted about its longitudinal axis, especially when high speeds be aimed for.

The invention has for its object a rapier weaving machine of the type mentioned so that the wear is reduced.

This object is achieved in that the top of the Gripper band assigned leadership of the guide means themselves extend over a third of the width of the gripper belt, and that the fastening means of the gripper to the Side of the reed offset towards the longitudinal median plane of the gripper belt are arranged.

The invention is based on the consideration that the main cause Forces are wear, especially when braking and acceleration caused by the gripper head with its center of gravity above the top of the Gripper band lies, so that the forces have the tendency to Gripper belt and, if necessary, an extension of the gripper belt, the gripper-carrying guide part about the longitudinal axis to twist. The invention therefore provides that the guides, which counteract the twisting of the gripper belt, engage the gripper belt with the cheapest possible lever arms, so that the forces acting against twisting are reduced become. In particular, this is the one on the top of the Gripper band acting guide, which is then advantageous Acts on the rapier belt when they are over more than a third of the width of the guide part and the gripper belt extends and as far as possible to about the middle. To still not having to change the position of the gripper or the fastening means of the gripper are arranged so as to be offset, that a sufficient space is created in which the leadership attacks.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, that the rib at a distance from that facing away from the reed Side surface of the gripper belt is arranged. expedient it is further provided that the guide means on both sides of the Have rib guides for the underside of the gripper belt. By shifting the rib towards the center of the rapier tape is in particular on that facing away from the reed Side of the rib an area of the bottom of the Gripper belt and / or the guide part created on the a guide that is supported with a favorable lever arm and thus counteracts twisting with relatively low forces.

The weft threads are made in a known manner by means of a donor gripper 7 and a slave gripper 8 introduced into a shed. The encoder gripper 7 takes over on one side Weaving machine in a known manner and transported to about the middle of the loom, i.e. in the Middle of a shed. There it is picked up by the slave gripper 8 which then took him to the opposite side the loom brings.

The encoder gripper 7 and the slave gripper 8 are each driven by a gripper belt 9, the slave gripper 8 and the encoder gripper 7 each in an open Push the shed in and pull out again. The gripper belts 9 are preferably made of fiber-reinforced plastic and have a flat, rectangular cross-section, with their flat sides each approximately horizontal lie. The gripper belts 9 are in the area of the side parts 1, 2 guided by means of stationary guides 10, 11. The gripper belts, which have a row of holes in their longitudinal center, are driven by gears 12, 13 which they wrap around. They are circumferential by means of guide blocks 14 the gears 12, 13 held.

The gears 12, 13 are driven by means of drives 15, 16 resulting rotary motion driven. The drives 15, 16 are synchronized with the drives 4, 5 of the sley 3.

The encoder gripper 7 and the slave gripper 8 are on guide parts 17, 18 arranged, each at the front ends the gripper belts 9 are attached. The guide parts 17, 18 are designed in such a way that - apart from one to be explained Rib - correspond to the cross section of the gripper belts 9.

In the area of the shed, the guide parts 17, 18 of the Grippers 7, 8 and the gripper belts 9 by means of guide means 19, 20 out. These guide means 19, 20, which in the following Figures are explained in detail Components that are only slightly in the longitudinal direction of the shed Have extent and in Fig. 1 for reasons of illustration are drawn too broad. The guide means 19, 20 are arranged on the sley 3, so that they deal with the Move the drawer 3 and the reed 6. You dive from below into a shed 21, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 is shown. This shed 21 is from an upper Warp thread sheet 22 and a lower warp thread sheet 23 are formed, those raised by means of technical training, not shown and be lowered and converge in the goods edge 24. The thread guide means 19, 20 are in the longitudinal direction of the Shed 21 so narrow that it is between the Warp threads of the lower warp thread sheet 23 can pass through. When the reed 6 is moved to the edge of the goods 24 to cast on a weft thread (dashed position in Fig. 3) the guide means 19, 20 from the shed 21 through the lower warp thread sheet 23 is moved out. Will the reed 6 again in that shown in Fig. 3 with solid lines Moved back position, so the guide means penetrate 19, 20 again the lower warp thread sheet 23 and enter the Shed 21 a. After striking a weft thread the shed 21 changed, with at least part of the Warp threads of the upper warp thread sheet 22 downwards and at least a part of the warp threads of the lower warp thread family 23 be moved upwards. As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, are the guide means 19, 20 by means of screws 25 on one Woven profile 26 attached.

As already mentioned, the encoder gripper 7 and the slave gripper 8 attached to guide parts 17, 18, which in aligned extension of the gripper belts 9 are arranged. 2 to 5 there is only one encoder gripper 7 with its Guide part 17 shown. Since the guide part 18 of the master gripper 8 is mirror image identical, the description applies of the guide part 17 also for the guide part 18.

The guide member 17 and the guide means 19, 20 are in the The following explains in particular with reference to FIG. 4. The Guide part 17 has a rib 27 which projects downwards provided that perpendicular to the underside of the guide part 17th and thus also extending to the underside of the gripper belt 9 Has side flanks. The rib 27 is opposite to that Weave 6 facing away from the side surface of the guide part 17 somewhat offset to the middle. In the rib 27 of the plastic existing guide part 17 is a metallic deflection rail 28 admitted. The guide means 19 have one essentially horizontal guide 29 which the Underside of the guide part 17 and thus also the underside of the rapier belt 9 in the area facing the reed 6 next to the rib 27 is assigned. The guide means 19 have another guide 30 that is perpendicular to the guide 29 runs and that of the side flank facing the reed 6 is assigned to the rib 27.

The guide means 20 are hook-shaped. Your open Page is facing reed 6. You essentially have one horizontal guide 31 facing away from the reed 6 Area of the top of the guide part 17 and the Gripper belt 9 is assigned. This guide 31 extends over a third of the width of the guide part 17 and preferably up to about half of the guide part 17th and the gripper belt 9. The guide means 20 have one further, essentially horizontal guide 32, that of the underside of the guide part 17 and the gripper belt 9 is assigned in the area next to the rib 27, which the Webblatt 6 is turned away. One follows the guide 32 for this purpose, vertical guide 33 facing away from the reed 6 Flank of the rib 27 is assigned. Finally own the guide means 20 still a guide 34 between the guide 31 and the guide 32 facing away from the reed 6 Side surface of the guide part 17 and the gripper belt 9 is assigned.

To make room for a sufficiently long guide 31 of the guide means To create 20 are fasteners 35 of the gripper 7 offset off-center in the direction of the reed 6 the guide part 17 attached. The guides 29, 32 and 31 guide the guide member 17 and the gripper belt 9 in vertical Direction. The guides 30, 32 and 34 guide the guide part 17 in the horizontal direction, so that the guide part 17 is guided with the gripper 7 in all directions. The gripper belt 9 is in the area outside the guide part 17 guided only on one side by means of the guide 34.

For practical reasons, between the guides 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and the guide part 17 tolerances are provided, which are of the order of 0.3 mm. by virtue of opposite the guide part 17 and the gripper belt 9 result eccentric center of gravity of the gripper 7 especially when accelerating and braking Forces that have a tendency to guide part 17 and To twist gripper belt 9. Twisted due to these forces the guide part is actually within the tolerances, so that especially when turning (counterclockwise) from the reed 6 almost point loads in the Area of guides 30, 31 and 32 result. To despite this approximately point loads the possible wear to keep the guides 30, 31 and 32 so arranged and designed that the stress points with a possible large lever arm act against the rotation, so that then the forces of the almost punctiform loads relative can be kept low.

The guide means 19, 20 are usually uniform Distances arranged in the longitudinal direction of the shed 21. To heavy loads on the gripper belt 9 and / or Guide part 17 to reduce in the areas in which Accelerations and decelerations occur that the guide part 17 turn away from reed 6 with gripper 7 want, can also be provided that in these Areas the guide means 20 and possibly also the guide means 19 can be arranged in closer succession.

The use of two different types of management tools 19, 20, the guides 29, 30 and 31, 32, 33, 34 form, which are opposite each other, has the advantage that all guides for a grinding tool are accessible and are therefore editable by grinding. The guides 29, 30 of the guide means 19 can by means of separate grinding operations or processed using a profile grinding wheel become. The guides 31, 32, 33, 34 of the guide means 20 can be processed very precisely using a profile grinding wheel. This grinding of the guides 29 to 34 has the advantage that very smooth guide surfaces can be created and that these guides tolerated each other very precisely can be.

However, as shown in Fig. 5, it is straightforward also possible a single, hook-shaped guide element 36 to be provided for guiding the rib 27 provided guide parts 17, 18 and the corresponding Has guides 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34. In this case however, the guides 30 and 33 cannot be ground to edit.

In modified embodiments, there are two types of guide means provided in which the guides 29 to 34 are distributed in other ways. For example, it is possible to provide a hook-shaped guide means that the Has guides 29, 30, 31, 34 and a second guide means, which is provided with the guides 32, 33. Likewise it is possible to use a guide means with the guides 29, 30, 32, 33 and a further guide means with the guides 31, 34 provided.

It is also possible to have more than two different guide means provided. For example, a guide means be provided according to the guide means 19, the has the guides 29 and 30, and in addition to this Guide means a guide means with the guides 31, 34 and another guide means with the guides 32, 33.

Die Führungsmittel 19, 20 sind nach oben angespitzt und abgerundet, so daß sie die untere Kettfadenschar 23 leicht durchdringen und dabei die Kettfäden auseinanderbewegen können.6 is a view corresponding to an embodiment 2 to 4, in which the gripper belt 9 with a guide part 17 is extended, which the gripper 7th wearing. The guide part 17 is with the rib 27 and the deflection rail 28 provided. The guide means 19, 20 are after sharpened at the top and rounded off so that they are the lower warp thread family 23 penetrate lightly and move the warp threads apart can.

In diesem Fall ist nicht nur das Führungsteil 17 des Greifers 7, sondern auch das Greiferband 9 über seine ganze Länge in horizontaler Richtung und in vertikaler Richtung geführt.7 it is provided that not only the guide part 17 of the gripper 7 with one after below projecting rib 27 is provided, but that also Gripper belt 9 with a rib 37 running in alignment therewith is provided. In this case, it's not just the guide part 17 of the gripper 7, but also the gripper belt 9 via its full length in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction guided.

As shown in Figs. 8 and 9, it goes without saying also within the scope of the invention, if on a guide part 17 or 18 completely omitted for the gripper 7 or 8 and the gripper 7 or 8 directly at the front end the gripper belt 9 is attached. In this case the gripper belt 9 with a continuous in the longitudinal direction Provide rib 38.
