Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a several, by astride collecting printed products existing printed matter bound by binding, in particular magazines, brochures or books.
Such processes are described, for example, in "Industrielle Buchbinderei ", Verlag Beruf + Schule, 1994 described with so-called Saddlestitchers performed.
The different printed products are fed via a plurality of feeders, which are arranged along a collecting section, on parallel feeding sections to a collecting device upstream of a stapler.
These saddle stitchers obtain the printed products from stacks or other storage devices.
For economical processing of printed products with Saddle stitchers require a large print run, i.e. determines the quantity of printed matter required the procedure to be followed. So that still applies today Rule of thumb that up to 2000 copies of the same printed product a digital printing process versus an offset printing process is more economical because it is significantly shorter Set-up times required and with an appropriate print run size an average turnaround time of around eight Hours required.
The object of the present invention is therefore in a Process of the type described in the introduction with smaller quantities optimal economy compared to others to achieve proven manufacturing processes.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the printed products are collected in the order predetermined for forming a printed product via a common conveying path and then stapled.
This means that the processing of the printed products takes place continuously until they are collected and then takes place gradually during the time in which the printed products are collected.
To achieve a largely continuous feed the order predetermined to form a printed product of the printed products are advantageously in a digital printing device printed and afterwards - while collecting of printed products for another printed product - stapled.
The gathering and stapling are preferably carried out on one another distant places on the conveyor path.
According to the invention, there is a device for carrying out the method provided that the printed products from a the funding path spread to a trained effective Opening device which transmits the collecting pad Feed device exists and by the below the Opening device around a transverse to the feed direction of the Rotary axis of the printed product arranged around the collecting support on a between a collection point of the printed products supplied and a section formed on the conveying path is driven step by step. This can achieved a compact and simple design of the facility become. In addition, with the inventive Establishment of print products also manufactured in the off-line process to make stapled printed matter.
There are preferably a plurality of collecting supports arranged around the axis of rotation provided that they cover shorter distances and are to be driven at a reasonable speed.
Alternatively, the section of the funding path between the collection point and stitching by at least one on a deflection drum revolving traction means of a traction mechanism gear be on which collective editions at regular intervals are attached.
It proves useful if the stitching point and a Collection pad form a stapling device that the simple and compact design of the facility favors.
It is advantageous if the stitching is a one for a bending device which deforms a staple to define a wire section and one driving the deformed wire section Driving device with one provided on the collecting pad Bending device formed stapling device.
Instead of an inaccurate release of the printed matter, this is downstream end of the conveyor path as one of the tacking point subsequent display formed.
The display advantageously opens into a conveyor arrangement that guarantees the further transport of the printed products.
The display can conveniently be the one of the printed product Lifting device removing the collecting pad, for what purpose for example one on the inside edge of a printed product controlled sword is particularly suitable.
To provide the cover with an envelope online , it is useful if the collection point has an envelope folder with which the envelope to be folded is assigned from the side onto the loose ones on the collecting pad Print products is put on. Fold or envelope fold feeder include in the technical book "Industrielle Bookbinding "described.
When using at least one traction device to form the Conveyor path, can be an envelope feeder between the feeder arranged for the printed products and the stitching section his.
The feed end of the feed device can preferably be through an opening device of a sheet feeder or one Clock transporter to be trained; both types of loading are known, the latter among others by EP 0 095 603 A1.
So that the printed product to be produced the certain number Having printed products, the facility is computer controlled Device for performing the inventive Associated procedure.

Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch eine Einrichtung 1 zur Herstellung
Druckprodukten 2 bestehenden, drahtgehefteten Druckerzeugnisses
Oeffnungstrommeln 7, 8 bestehenden Oeffnungsvorrichtung 9 gebildet
Fig. 1
Fig. 1 beschriebenen Einzelheiten räumlich erkennbar.1 schematically shows a device 1 for producing a wire-stitched printed product 3, such as magazines, brochures or books, consisting of a plurality of printed
2, with the exception of the
Fig. 3 illustrates that shown in Figs. 1 and 2
umlaufenden Zugmitteln 22, 23 gebildetes, schrittweise
steuerwirksam verbunden ist.4 shows an alternative embodiment of the device 1 according to the invention. In contrast to FIGS. 1 to 3, instead of the
