Description

The invention relates to a recessed luminaire according to the preamble of claim 1.

A recessed light of this kind is in the DE 43 44 431 A1 described. This known recessed luminaire has a base frame, consisting of a mounting ring which is formed angularly in axial cross-section with a coaxial pipe socket and an outwardly projecting flange part, extending from the radiation direction facing away from the edge of the pipe stub three struts arcuate to a common ridge zone, where the reflector is releasably attached.

For selectively mounting a retaining ring for additional components on the side facing away from the light source side of the mounting ring connecting means are provided in the form of a connecting ring for the retaining ring. The connecting ring has on its side facing the mounting ring axially projecting snap hooks which are latched behind associated Verrastungkanten on the inside of the pipe socket, wherein the snap hooks are in a space between the pipe socket and the side wall of the reflector. The annular body of the connecting ring has a U-shaped cross-sectional shape. In the formed by the U-shape cavity of the connecting ring three circumferentially distributed clamping lever are pivotally mounted in the region of axial recesses, with which arranged on the axes of the clamping lever support arms are mounted radially pivotable. With the support arms, the retaining ring can be mounted on the side of the connecting ring, which faces away from the mounting ring. The retaining ring is used to hold additional components, such as a glass pane od. Like., Which is located in front of the emission of the lamp.

This known recessed luminaire has several disadvantages. On the one hand, the connecting ring and the retaining ring increase the axial dimension of the recessed light in the area upstream of the mounting ring. This is determined by the presence of the connecting ring, which has a considerable axial dimension to accommodate the clamping levers can. On the other hand, the known embodiment is disadvantageous because the connecting ring is clearly visible to the viewer, so that the design not only looks great, but also their appearance is impaired. Another disadvantage is that the known design not only in terms of the arrangement and storage of the clamping lever of consuming Design and production is. In addition, the assembly and disassembly is expensive, it should be noted that the clamping lever are not easy to reach.

The DE 299 15 780 U1 discloses a recessed luminaire, which has a light source with reflector and two rings. The outer ring is used for mounting on the ceiling wall. An inner ring is connected to the outer ring, wherein additional components can be attached to this inner ring.

The fasteners are connected by means of a latching connection with the inner ring and have outwardly projecting hinge elements which engage in a matching recess in the outer ring.

Due to the design of the fasteners is in the DE 299 15 780 U1 described lamp only awkward to dismantle.

The invention has the object of providing a recessed light of the type specified in such a way that a simple and small axial construction can be achieved.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are described in the subclaims.

In the embodiment according to the invention the connecting means between the mounting ring and the retaining ring by at least two plug-in elements with plug pins and provided on the mounting ring, radially extending plug recesses are formed for inserting the plug-in pin. Due to the radial alignment of the connecting means can be realized in the axial direction narrow construction, which is advantageous and is sought to avoid a large visible projection of the recessed light from the mounting wall. A radial insertion movement, in particular a radially inwardly directed insertion movement is not a problem, since at least two plug-in elements are present, which can be mounted independently of each other and z. B. may be formed as segments. Another advantage of the embodiment of the invention is that the plug-in elements according to the invention can be easily formed, so that the recessed light can also be produced inexpensively. For connecting the plug-in elements with the retaining ring, corresponding known connection means can be used.

It is advantageous to form the connecting means between the plug-in elements and the retaining ring by a so-called bayonet connection, wherein two or more, z. B. three, distributed around the circumference arranged bayonet connection means can be provided. Such an embodiment is advantageous both for handling reasons when closing and opening the connection and for design reasons. It is also advantageous to form the retaining ring as a sleeve-shaped component, which covers both the plug-in elements and a flange of the mounting frame and optionally also an edge flange of a reflector in the mounted position. It should be noted that in the assembled state between the retaining ring and the mounting wall, a gap may remain as a so-called shadow edge, which does not affect the appearance of the recessed light.

Further features of the subclaims also contribute to improving the design in terms of design as well as handling technology and to ensure a simple and cost-effective production.

The recessed luminaire, designated in its entirety by 1, can be installed in an installation opening 2 of an installation wall 3, which can be a ceiling or a wall of a room 4 to be illuminated by the recessed luminaire 1. For fixing the recessed luminaire 1 to the mounting wall 3 first retaining means 5 are provided, which will be described below.

The main parts of the recessed luminaire 1 are a dome-shaped reflector 6, a light source support 7 for receiving at least one light source 8 and a mounting ring 9, which is angularly formed with a pipe socket 9a and an outwardly projecting flange part 9b and with the aid of the first holding means 5 in the mounting hole 2 is fixed, z. B. at the installation opening edge. For this purpose, several distributed around the circumference arranged and z. B. formed by leaf springs support arms 11 serve, of which in Fig. 1 only a hint is shown. The holding arms 11 are each provided with a base portion 11a at approximately parallel to the central axis 12 of the recessed light 11 extending support rod 13 slidably mounted, each of the base portion 11a is automatically locked to the support rod 13, in particular by clamping action, when an outwardly projecting and the installation opening edge cross-holding finger 11b with a compressive stress on the side facing away from the space 4 of the mounting wall 3 is present. As a result, the mounting ring 9 is fixed in the mounting hole 2, wherein its pipe socket 9a protrudes into the mounting hole 2 and its flange 9b rests against the mounting wall 3. The pipe section 9a is dimensioned axially relatively short. He does not need to project far into the free space 14 behind the installation wall 3. It is sufficient if the axial length of the pipe socket 9a corresponds approximately to the thickness of the mounting wall 3, wherein the axial length may be slightly larger or slightly smaller. The width of the flange part 9b is dimensioned so large that the flange part 9b engages under the installation opening edge and thus covers the installation gap between the pipe socket 9a and the installation opening edge.

The reflector 6 preferably has the shape of a dome closed in the ridge region, the inner surface 15 is formed as a reflection surface, and z. B. at least in the free edge area with facet surfaces 16, of which a portion z. B. is shown in diamond-shaped form, may be formed. In the upper region of its side wall 17, the reflector 6 has a feed-through hole 18, in the region of the light source carrier 7 is held, for. B. in a through-hole 18 on the outside opposite position, as it Fig. 1 shows. In the present embodiment, the light source carrier 7 is a socket carrier with one or more sockets, not shown, which are accessible with one or more lamps from the interior 19 of the reflector 6 ago, so that at least one lamp from the inside of the socket carrier in a position is mounted in the its light source 8 is located in the interior 19. The reflector 6 is detachably connected or connectable to the mounting ring 9 by a socket designated in its entirety by 21. The jack 21 makes it possible to insert the reflector of the light emitting direction 22 opposite in the mounting ring 9 and thereby connect to the mounting ring 9. There may be several, for example, three pieces, distributed around the circumference arranged latching devices 23 for releasably locking the reflector 6 may be provided with the mounting ring 9. The latching devices 23 each have a Verrastungsnase 23a, which engages in the Verrastungsstellung a Verrastungskante 23b. This rear grip is due to the existing elasticity of at least one of the latching engaging parts in that the latching manually or by means of an auxiliary tool is überdrückbar, here by a movement of the reflector 6 in the Lichtabstrahlrichtung 22. In the present embodiment, the Verrastungsnase 23 a at Outside of the side wall 17 is arranged, preferably integrally formed. The axial distance of the Verrastungselemente from the free edge of the reflector 6 and the mounting ring 9 is chosen so large that in the Verrastungsstellung an outwardly projecting from the side wall 14 edge flange 24 abuts the flange 9b and this preferably covers or surmounted, where he the flange 9b can also engage angularly, like it Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 demonstrate. The Verrastungskante 23b may be formed by an inner web 25 on the inner circumferential surface of the mounting ring 9.

Fig. 2 shows the Verrastungsnase 23a in a modified embodiment. Here, the Verrastungsnase 23 a resiliently mounted, so that it is einfederbar against an elastic restoring force. Here, the Verrastungsnase 23a may be disposed on a spring arm 23c, which may extend longitudinally or obliquely to the central axis 12 and preferably integrally formed on the mounting ring 9 and on its side wall 14 may be. In the present embodiment, the spring arm 23c is formed in the corner region of the mounting ring 9, wherein it optionally extends obliquely in the light emitting direction 22 opposite direction. The spring arm 23 c is elastically transversely elastically bendable due to its material elasticity. In order to simplify or enable the latching, in the present exemplary embodiments, the latching nose 23a and / or the latching edge 23b or the inner web 25 is assigned an inclined or rounded contact surface 26 which has an acute angle W with respect to the center axis 12 which is inserted into the the radiation direction 22 opposite direction is open.

The light source carrier 7 is connected by a special connecting means exclusively with the mounting ring 9, here exclusively with its pipe socket 9a. The connecting means are formed by a plug connection with a jack 27a on the one plug connection part and a plug-in plug 27a insertable plug pin 27b on the other connecting part. The insertion direction 28 of the connector 27 extends approximately parallel to the central axis 12 and in the emission direction 22. The cross-sectional shape of the jack 27a and the spigot 27b is preferably non-circular. As a result, an anti-rotation device is formed, which positions the light source carrier 7 in its transverse position. The connector 27 is characterized by a high stability with simple and small design, in particular, it can be made relatively narrow and thus grown on the pipe socket 9a, in particular integrally formed, which should be made as narrow as possible, to a larger cross-sectional area for to have the reflector 6 available. This can be realized in that the plug-in pin has the cross-sectional shape of a wide and relatively thin web. This also applies to the attachment of the support rods 13, which preferably also by Jacks 31 are connected to the pipe socket 9a. Preferably, a socket 31 forming undercut grooves or plug-in recesses 32 are prefabricated provided in the pipe socket 9a, in which the support rods 13 are inserted and secured, for. B. by gluing or press fit. Out Fig. 4 can be in the circumferential direction elongated cross-sectional shape of z. B. three pieces plug recesses 32 for the support rods 13 recognize. The plug-in recesses 32 can be undercut on one side for the purpose of saving material and small width and thus be open to the side, here they are open inside.

According to the present embodiment Fig. 1 and 5 has the connector between two-fitting connector parts on a plug adapter 29 which has at its one end to the existing connector 27 mating plug recess or socket 27a and at its other end a mating plug pin 27b and forms an extension piece. This makes it possible to realize the connector 27 either with or without a plug-in adapter 29. Without plug-in adapter 29, the connector 27 is suitable for a reflector 6 low height, which is otherwise formed in the region of its free edge as described above. This makes it possible to combine one and the same mounting ring 9 with reflectors 6 different height and thus adapt the lamp to different lighting requirements. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1 are thus actually two connectors 21 in coaxial arrangement available. It is advantageous to associate with the plug-type connections 21 in each case a positioning device 33 which is effective in the assembled state and which brings about a fixing of the plug connection parts in the assembled state. This is advantageous to give the connector 27 a certain grip in the assembled state. In addition, it is prevented by such a positioning device 33 that the connector parts are unintentionally released from each other, for. B. when mounting a lamp. The positioning device 33 may, for. B. be formed by a latching device or a clamping device. The positioning device 33 is preferably releasable by manual override with a certain force. A clamping device can, for. B. be realized in that the plug-in pin 27b is conically convergent to its free end and the jack 27a has a matching and corresponding shape. Such a conical design also facilitates the mating, because in the entrance area of the jack a considerable movement play is present. Moreover, the conical design may form the positioning device 33 in that the cone connection clamps in the inserted state. The plug-in recesses 27a can be slotted on a broad side by a longitudinal slot 27d, in which a web 27e can engage on the plug-in pin 27b. The plug adapter 29 may have a have thickened shaft 29, which results in its plug-in recess 27a and its plug pin 27b end or step surfaces 29b, 29c, 27a with corresponding step surfaces 27f at the foot of the corresponding pin 27b and at the edge of the corresponding plug recess 27a form stops.

In the context of the invention, both plug connection parts of the plug connection 27 each project with a rod-shaped base portion 27c of their parts carrying them each other. The protruding from the light source carrier 7 connector part may preferably integrally formed on a bottom wall 7a of the light source carrier 7 housing, which may also have opposing side walls 7b and on its side facing away from the reflector 6 an optionally formed with cable feedthrough holes end wall 7c.

The light source carrier 7 may be connected at its end facing away from the reflector 6 with a cable connection housing 35. In the present embodiment, the terminal housing 35 is a separate component which is pivotable between a relative to the central axis 12 transversely projecting position in a mounting ring 9 towards displaced position. For fixing the terminal housing 35 in the former position, a positioning device may be provided, for. B. in the form of a latching device or a clamping device. In the present embodiment, a pivoting enabling joint 36 is disposed in the edge region between the bottom wall and the end wall.

The mounting ring 9 is suitable as a support for a retaining ring 41 for holding at least one additional component 42 or accessory, in which it is z. B. may be a translucent disc, which is releasably held by the retaining ring 41 in a covering the emission opening 43 of the reflector 6 position. For the detachable connection directly or indirectly with the flange part 9b, a so-called bayonet connection 44 with mutually corresponding bayonet connection parts is provided.

In the present embodiment serve for releasably securing the retaining ring 41 at least two, z. B. three, distributed on the circumference arranged plug-in elements 45, here z. B. in the form of ring segments, which are connectable by a respective plug connection 46 with a plug recess 46a on the one connecting part and a plug-in plug 46b at the other connecting part with the flange part 9b of the mounting frame 9. To connect the Plug elements 45 with the retaining ring 41 are mutually corresponding connecting parts, which are preferably formed by the bayonet connection 44.

The insertion 47 of the jacks 46 is directed transversely to the central axis 12 radially inwardly, as it is in Fig. 4 illustrate illustrated associated arrows. The plug-in recesses 46a are thus open with respect to the central axis 12 radially outward. They may also be open towards the inside of the flange part 9b, which is intended to bear on the mounting wall 3, as it is Fig. 3 and 4 clearly show. In the present exemplary embodiment, the plug-in recesses 46a and the plug-in pins 46b each have a quadrangular, in particular flat, cross-sectional shape. The plug-in elements 45 are formed angularly with a radially inwardly directed plug element leg 45a and a plug element leg 45b extending in the emission direction 22. At the emission direction 22 remote from the outer edge of the flange 9b an annular groove 48 is arranged. The plug element leg 45a is adapted with respect to its axial dimension to the axial depth of the annular groove 48 so that it closes on the mounting wall 3 side facing the remaining surface portion of the flange 9b approximately.

The bayonet connections 44 are each formed by a bayonet nose 44a and a bayonet recess 44b and a laterally adjoining the latter in the circumferential direction bayonet stage 44c. The bayonet recess 44b arranged externally on the plug-in element 45 is open radially outward and in the emission direction 22. Thus, the bayonet lugs 44a can be inserted into the bayonet recesses 44b in an axial movement of the retaining ring 41 opposite the radiation direction 22 and then into the bayonet steps 44c by turning them. The bayonet lugs 44a are located on the radiation direction 22 facing away from the edge of the retaining ring 41 radially inwardly. Moreover, the retaining ring 41 may be formed by a thin sleeve. On at least one surface of the bayonet stages 44c, a cam 44d formed with rounded or inclined abutment surfaces may be provided, for example. B., which forms a manually überdrückbare backup against reverse rotation of the retaining ring 41.

For holding the stem or additional component 42, the retaining ring 41 may have at its in the emission direction 22 facing edge a plurality of circumferentially arranged arranged holding parts or a circumferential holding web 49 which engage behind the additional component 42 or engages behind. The insertion of the additional component 42, z. As a disc, between the bayonet lugs 44 a and the holding web 49 may, for. B. due to the material elasticity of the retaining ring 41, which is preferably made of plastic. Also, the reflector 6, the mounting ring 9, the adapter 29, the Light source carrier 7 and the plug-in elements 45 may be made of plastic. For stability reasons, it is advantageous to form the mounting ring 9 and optionally also the plug-in elements 45 and the adapter 29 alternatively made of light metal, in particular aluminum. For this purpose, preferably the die casting technique or injection molding technique is suitable, which enables rapid and cost-effective production even with difficult shaping.

To secure the plug-in pin 46b in the plug-in recesses 46a, a positioning device can be provided. This can be formed by an elastically resilient pressure element, which is arranged on the one connector part and preferably engages in a recess on the other connector part. The pressure element may be formed by a rounded pin or a ball 51 in a transverse bore 52 in the spigot 46b and be prevented by a retracted hole edge from falling out of the hole. By means disposed in the bore spring 53, which is supported in the bottom of the hole or on a closure member, the desired compressive stress can be generated.

The installation of the recessed luminaire 1 can be carried out according to the following process steps.

First, the mounting ring 9 is inserted into the mounting hole 2 and fixed with the mounting opening edge engaging behind retaining arms 11. The mounting ring 9 is factory pre-assembled with the support rods 13 and the support arms 11. The assembly in the mounting hole 2 can be done handling friendly by the ring opening. Then the light source carrier 7 is brought through the mounting ring 9 through in its mounting position and connected by plugging with the mounting ring 9. Here, the terminal housing 35 can be in its off or pivoted position. The latter improves the accessibility to the housing facing the retaining ring open connection housing 35. With the next step, the reflector 6 is inserted and locked in the mounting ring 9. Then, the light source 8 and the at least one lamp mounted on the light source carrier 7 from the interior of the reflector 6 ago, z. B. are inserted into the socket carrier. The connection of z. B. in the light source carrier 7 or in the connection housing 35 arranged resources for power supply can be done before mounting the mounting ring 9 or before mounting the light source carrier 7. If the attachment of an accessory 42 is desired, then the plug-in elements 45 are inserted into the plug-in recesses 46 a radially inwardly, and then the retaining ring 41 z. B. are mounted with the additional part 42 therein. The dismantling can be carried out with steps in reverse order.
