Abstract

The machining tool comprises a blade-ring and several packs of blades which in turn comprise blades and clamping plates. A holder contains the blade-ring with blunt blades. One unit removes the packs of blades, and one unit dismantles the packs of blades. The blunt blades are contained and stored in a first buffer unit (9) and are sharpened in a grinder unit. A second buffer unit holds the sharpened blades which are collected with clamping plates to form packs of blades.

Description

The invention relates to a method and a device for sharpening the Cutting blade of a chipper, such as known from the document DE-A-41 14 840. This is especially about Knife ring chipper for processing wood to chips that are industrial can be further processed, for example as a starting material for Chipboard.

Such chippers have a knife ring which has a plurality of Carries knife packets. The knife packages are arranged such that the Cut the blades parallel to the axis of the blade ring. she each comprise a cutting blade which projects inwards with its cutting edge, and a clamping plate to which the knife is fixed by screwing.

Inside the knife, a rotor rotates. Into the interior becomes one Woodchip current introduced by the rotor outwards against the cutting edges the knife is thrown.

The aspired chip thickness results from the distance of the knife opposite the so-called wear plates, which in turn are part of the knife ring are.

A big problem with such crushers is in the relative short life of the cutting blade to see. You can work in less Wear out hours and no longer deliver the required chip quality. The Changing the knife requires a particularly high workload.

It has therefore been looking for some time for ways to streamline the blade change. Thus, a working method is known which comprises the following processing steps:
First, the knife basket is removed from the chipper and transferred to a re-sharpening device. In this re-sharpening device, the knife basket can be rotated about its own axis. The blunt knives are loosened in the knife basket from their clamping bracket and adjusted on the necessary for regrinding the knife work. Then the knives are ground and then tightened again in the knife basket. The grinding takes place by means of a grinding tool, which comprises one or more grinding wheels. The grinding device moves parallel to the axis of the knife body. If the tool has several grinding wheels, these are arranged side by side and all at the same time in use. The knife ring is then rotated after each grinding cycle until the knives are completely sharpened.

Such a device having the processing stations cited in claim 2, i.e. 2.1 and 2.3-2.7, and the associated method with the recited in claim 1 Procedural steps, i.e. 1.1, 1.3-1.7 and 1.9, are already from the above-mentioned Publication DE-A-41 14 840 known.

Machines of this type have basically proven themselves. Your construction cost is However, high, and thus the manufacturing cost of the chip material. In addition, the machine can only with trouble-free operation and at all operate certain types of knife ring rationally.

The invention is based on the object, a method and a device to develop with which a flawless, quick and efficient sharpening reach the worn knife, and with what also the technological requirements for the quality of shredding are met, even if the operation is not trouble-free. Furthermore, should also sharpened the knives of different knife ring types in a rational way can be. Finally, the production costs of the generated Spanmateriales be as low as possible.

This object is solved by the features of the independent claims.

Essential steps of the method according to the invention are the following:
First, the knife ring is removed from the Messerringverspaner. Then the knife packages are disassembled, that is, the single knife is separated from its clamping plate, and sharpened.

Important process steps are the interim storage of the blunt and the sharpened blades each in a buffer station. This has the advantage that the Sharpening process can be decoupled from the assembly process and thus a lower cycle time is achieved. Cycle time is the time to enter a Blunt knife package until the output of a sharp knife package from the Investment. This method of disassembly or assembly of the knife package has the further advantage that the Verharzungen between knife and Clamping plate can be removed during cleaning after disassembly and depending after wear of the cutting knife this discharged and replaced can be.

The blunt knives are fed to a grinder, the one Abrasive or measuring after a wear measurement Cutting knife contour can independently determine the Abschleißmaß. Of the However, sharpening process could also be done by other metal cutting, thermal or Physicochemical processes are realized. The grinding of a Although single knife is time consuming, but gives the possibility of individual grinding input. This has the advantage that the knife longer remains in the production cycle, before it because of too small blade width is discharged. The operating hours per knife become clear elevated. For a number of, for example, 60 cutting blades in one Knife ring can thus be reduced the cost per knife ring. The Clamp is not replaced in the entire process and is online through the Passed processing line. Exceptions are badly worn ones Clamps that are manually replaced by the Bediner.

This procedure gives the possibility to the Messervorstand individually for each Set the blade ring during disassembly by the operator and on it vote. Furthermore, each clamping plate from a knife ring back in the same installed. This is important for the function of the knife ring.

The knives are stored with a certain inclination in the buffer station, to avoid possible tilting of the knives with each other. By the Inclination, the center of gravity of the knife is shifted, creating a safe Stacking of different wide knives is guaranteed.

An adjusting device takes the knife packages over specified Pick-up points that vary depending on the type of knife ring and the Knife package can be adapted. This has the advantage of being low Remodeling effort each type of knife package can be edited with the system can guarantee a high level of flexibility towards the customer can be. Furthermore, it is possible components consisting of several Components to edit with this machine.

The clamping plate is during the whole de- resp Mounting process firmly clamped on a mounting carriage. By the very exact drive of the mounting carriage can high adjustment accuracies for the Adjustment of the blade management can be achieved.

For storing the incoming or outgoing knife packages in the Buffer stations are best used chain magazines, which a have the smallest possible space requirement at high capacity.

The inventive device is designed according to that with her the inventive method can be performed. She points expediently a receiving device, in which the knife ring with his blunt knives after removal from the Messerringzerspaner can be used. The receiving device allows the knife ring to continue its axis of rotation by a certain angle or to turn continuously. The clock frequency of the ring can be customized by Adjusted operator before and during disassembly or assembly. The operator's workstation is according to workplace design guidelines aligned. The dispensing or receiving tape for the knife packages is at working height of the operator. This design of the workplace allows fatigue-free and body-friendly work for the operator.

The machine works as follows:
Once the blades of a Messerringverspaners are no longer sufficiently sharp, the knife ring is removed from the Messerringverspaner and inserted into a receiving device 1 and fixed.

The operator takes the necessary presettings (Messervorstand, Clock frequency, Abschleifmaß), dismantles the knife packages and puts them on a Conveyor belt that conveys them to the automatic processing machine.

In a cleaning system 3 and in a turning station 4 are the Knife packages thoroughly cleaned and brought into their working position. The Cutting knives point upwards. Then either the incoming Knife package stored in a knife package magazine 5 or 6 via a transfer fed to a conveyor system 7. The conveyor system 7 takes the individual Knife package and puts it on a Justierschlitten 8.1. The adjusting slide 8.1 is moved within the adjusting unit 8 or translatorily positioned and has additional functions for receiving and fixing the Knife package and the clamping plate. The knife package is now over corresponding recordings 8.2 fixed and stretched. After that, the position of the Determined square bolts and the adjusting slide 8.1 on the position of the Feed screwdriver 8.3 driven.

After the screws have been released from the feed screw 8.3, takes the conveyor system 7, the blunt cutting blade 8.7 and stores it in one Buffer station 9 or equips a grinding machine 10. The conveyor system. 7 assumes in further operation the loading of the grinding machine 10 and the associated buffer station 9. After cleaning and removal of the blunt Cutting knife takes the conveyor system 7 from a sharp cutting blade 8.7 another buffer station for sharpened cutting blades and places it on the cleaned clamping plate 8.8, which previously moved into a brush unit 8.4 and was cleaned. The discarded knife is against a fixed stop 8.5 driven to set the knife board. The position of the Square screws are determined again, the adjusting slide 8.1 in position driven and screwed the knife with the clamping plate. Is this process finished, the sharpened knife package is released from the Justierschlitten 8.1 and removed from the conveyor system 7. Then it will be on a transfer 12 stored and fed to another knife package magazine 13. It will be there stored and turned into its mounting position (cutting knife is below). The sharpened knife package will now be released from the operator at the request of the operator Knife package magazine 13 outsourced and the operator via a conveyor belt 14 provided on the pickup position.
