Anschließend kann der Ring um einen bestimmten Winkel weitergedreht werden und das nächste Messer vorgeschoben werden. Vorzugsweise werden zunächst sämtliche Messer um ein bestimmtes Maß vorgeschoben. Anschließend kann dann die Schleifbearbeitung sämtlicher Messer bei drehendem Messerring mit Hilfe der Schleifvorrichtung 12 erfolgen. Interessant ist dabei die Tatsache, dass der gewünschte Messervorstand im Zuge der Schleifbearbeitung durch geeignete Steuerung der Schleifvorrichtung und insbesondere der Positionierung der Schleifvorrichtung erfolgen kann. Das vorherige Vorschieben der Messer muss folglich nicht in eine exakte Position erfolgen, sondern es reicht, wenn die Messer um ein gewisses Mindestmaß vorgeschoben werden. Alternativ zu der beschriebenen Vorgehensweise liegt es jedoch auch im Rahmen der Erfindung, die Messer einzeln nacheinander vorzuschieben und direkt zu schärfen. Claims (10)
- A device for sharpening, particularly resharpening, knives and if appropriate, wear plates of a knife ring (2) for a knife ring cutter by means of grinding processing, using at least one grinding device (12),
characterized in that the device has at least one turntable (13), on which the knife ring can be fastened in such a manner that the knife ring (2) can be rotated in a lying arrangement with vertically orientated axis relatively to the grinding device (12),
wherein the turntable (13) and the grinding device (12) are arranged on a pivot table (24), wherein the pivot table (24) is fastened on a machine frame (14), such that it can be pivoted about a horizontal axis (29), for tilting the knife ring (2) out of a dismounting position with a horizontal axis into a machining position with a vertical axis. - The device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the grinding device (12) is constructed as a belt grinding device.
- The device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the grinding device (12) can be moved on the pivot table (24) relatively to the turntable (13) and/or the turntable (13) can be moved relatively to the grinding device (12), in the axial direction and in the radial direction - with respect to the axis of the knife ring (2) fastened on the turntable (13).
- The device according to Claim 3, characterized by a carrier carriage (15), which can be moved in the radial direction on the pivot table (24) by means of an infeed drive (23) and by a retaining device (17) for the grinding device (12) which can be displaced in the axial direction on the carrier carriage (15) by means of a linear drive (22).
- The device according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized by a rotary drive (19) for the turntable, a pivot drive (25) for the pivot table (24), a linear drive (22) for the grinding device (12) and/or an infeed drive (23) for the grinding device (12).
- The device according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the turntable (13) can be stopped on the pivot table (24) in any desired angular positions.
- The device according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the turntable (13) is provided with fastening elements (30) for the fastening of the knife ring (2).
- The device according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized by a knife feed device (26) with one or more feed elements (27), using which the individual knives can be fed relatively to the measuring device.
- The device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the feed device (26) is fastened in an adjustable manner on the pivot table.
- The device according to Claim 8 or 9 characterized in that the feed device (26) is constructed in such a manner that the knives can be fed without detaching the knife clamp.
