Abstract
Der erfindungsgemässe mobile Datenträger (1) weist einen Transponder mit einer Schlitzantenne (2) und einem als Sender und/oder Empfänger dienenden Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) auf, welches elektrisch leitend mit der Schlitzantenne verbunden ist. Die Schlitzantenne (2) enthält vorteilhaft ein Antennenblech (21) mit einem Antennenschlitz (22). Vorteilhaft weist das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) elektrische Anschlusskontakte (31,32) auf, welche links und rechts des Antennenschlitzes (22) elektrisch leitend kontaktiert sind. Bevorzugt ist das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) auf der Unterseite (213) des Antennenbleches (21) angebracht. An dieser ist vorteilhaft über Abstandsmittel (41,42) eine zusätzliche, bevorzugt elektrisch leitende Basisplatte (5) zur Abdeckung angebracht.

Beschreibung
Mobiler Datenträger mit einem Transponder aus einem Oberflächenwellenbauelement mit Schlitzantenne
Die Erfindung betrifft einen mobilen Datenträger. Dieser kann z.B. an Stückgütern angebracht sein und dabei die Funktion einer Identifikationsmarke aufweisen. Der mobile Datenträger enthalt einen Transponder, der ein Oberflachenwellenbauele- ment, d.h. insbesondere eine OF - Identifikationsmarke oder einen OFW- Sensor, und eine Antennenanordnung aufweist. Über einen Transponder dieser Art kann der mobile Datenträger insbesondere Daten abstrahlen. Hiermit können die Daten des mobilen Datenträger auf beruhrungslose Weise z.B. von externen Lesestationen abgerufen und gegebenenfalls aktualisiert werden.
Es ist bekannt, einen Transponder, der ein Oberflächenwellenbauelement enthalt, mit einer sogenannten Patch- Antenne zu versehen. Dabei handelt es sich um eine flächige Leiterstruktur auf einem Epoxy-, RT-Duroid- oder Teflon-Substrat. Derartige Antennen weisen Nachteile auf. Ein wesentlicher Nachteil wird drin gesehen, dass die Funktion eines derart aufgebauten Transponders insbesondere in der Nahe von Metallflachen em- geschrankt ist. Ferner kann die Funktionsfahigkeit auch bei erhöhten Temperaturen, z.B. bei > 100 °C, eingeschränkt sein. Ein mobiler Datenträger mit eine Transponder dieser Art wird somit bevorzugt in einem Umfeld eingesetzt, wo keine oder nur wenige metallische Flachen vorhanden sind. Er kann z.B. an Kartons aus Pappe bzw. Kisten aus Holz angebracht sein.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen mobilen Datenträger anzugeben, bei dem diese Probleme nicht auftreten.
Die Aufgaben wird gelost mit dem m den Ansprüchen angegebenen mobilen Datenträger.
Dieser enthält einen Transponder mit einer Schlitzantenne, welche elektrisch leitend mit einem Oberflächenwellenbauelement verbunden ist. Vorteilhaft weist die Schlitzantenne ein Antennenblech mit einem Antennenschlitz auf. Das Oberflachen- wellenbauelement ist vorteilhaft auf der Unterseite des Antennenbleches, und dort in einem Bereich am Ende oder in einem Mittenbereich des Antennenschlitzes angebracht. Dabei sind die beiden Anschlusskontakte des Oberflachenwellenbau- elements auf gegenüber liegenden Seiten des Antennenschlitzes mit der Unterseite des Antennenblechs kontaktiert.
Eine derartige Anordnung weist verschiedene Vorteil auf. Zu einem ist die Schlitzantenne mit geringem Aufwand kostengünstig herstellbar, z.B. in Form eines einfachen Stanzteiles un- ter Verwendung von herkömmlichem Blech als Antennenblech. Ein funkauslesbares Oberflächenwellenbauelement in der Ausfuhrung als OFW- Identifikationsmarke oder als OFW- Sensor ist auf einfache Weise auf der als metallischer Trager dienenden Schlitzantenne anbring- und kontaktierbar . Der erfindungsge- maße mobile Datenträger weist den besonderen Vorteil auf, dass er kostengünstig realisierbar ist, insbesondere unter niedrigen Bauteil- und Herstellungskosten. Darüber hinaus weist der Datenträger gemäß der Erfindung weitere, funktio- nelle Vorteile auf. Die erfindungsgemaße Gesamtanordnung aus einem Oberflächenwellenbauelement unter einem Antennenblech mit einem Antennenschlitz ist sowohl in der unmittelbaren Nahe von Metallflachen, als auch bei erhöhten Temperaturen, z.B. bei > 200 °C, ohne Einschränkungen der Funktionsfahigkeit einsetzbar und weist besonders gute Werte bezuglich der Sende- und Empfangsreichweite auf.
Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der erfindungsgemaßen Vorrichtung sind in den Unteranspruchen enthalten.
Die Erfindung wird an Hand der nachfolgend kurz angegebenen Figuren naher erläutert. Dabei zeigt

Figur 1 zeigt beispielhaft eine erste Ausfuhrung eines mobilen Datenträgers 1 gemäß der Erfindung. Dieser weist erfin- dungsgemaß einen Transponder aus einer Schlitzantenne 2 und einem Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3 auf. Das Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3 kann dabei vorteilhaft die Funktion einer OFW Identifikationsmarke bzw. eines OFW Sensors haben.
Bei der im Beispiel der Figur 1 dargestellten bevorzugten
Ausfuhrung hat die Schlitzantenne 2 eine vorteilhaft flachige, insbesondere plattenformige Form. Gemäß einer besonders
bevorzugten, m der Figur 1 ebenfalls bereits dargestellten Ausfuhrung weist die Schlitzantenne 2 ein metallisches Antennenblech 21 mit einem Antennenschlitz 22 auf. Die Lange des Antennenschlitzes wird festgelegt durch die Arbeitsfrequenz und durch die elektrische Belastung mit dem Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3. Als Arbeitsfrequenz kann z.B. ein Wert von 2,45 GHz verwendet werden. Die Lange des Antennenschlitzes 22 entspricht dabei annähernd der Hälfte der zu dieser Arbeitsfrequenz gehörigen Wellenlange.
Das Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3 wird vorteilhaft auf einer Unterseite 213 des Antennenbleches 22 angebracht. Im Beispiel der Figur 1 ist dies durch eine schraffierte Darstellung des Oberflachenwellenbauelements 3 symbolisiert. Ferner ist das Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3 über jeweils mindestens einen elektrischen Anschlusskontakt 31 und 32 links und rechts des Antennenschlitzes 22 elektrisch leitend kontaktiert. Schließlich ist der Antennenschlitz 22 zumindest teilweise über das Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3 hmweggefuhrt ist. Durch eine solche Anordnung kann der mechanische Schutz des Oberflächenwellenbauelements 3 erhöht werden.
Abhangig von der Eingangsimpedanz des Oberflachenwellenbauelements 3 wird dieses mehr m einem Mittenbereich 222 oder an einem Endbereich 221 der Schlitzantenne 2 positioniert. In den Beispielen der Figuren 1 bis 3 ist das Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3 am Ende des Antennenschlitzes 22 positioniert, wahrend es m den Beispielen der Figuren 4 bis mehr im Bereich der Mitte 222 des Antennenschlitzes 22 positioniert
In den Figuren 2 und 3 sind Seitenansichten eines mobilen Datenträgers 1 entsprechend der Ausfuhrung von Figur 1 dargestellt. Nach diesen Darstellungen weist das Antennenblech 22 an beiden Enden quer zum Antennenschlitz 22 seitlich abgewinkelte Kanten 211 auf. Diese bewirken eine Versteifung des Antennenbleches 22, so dass eine ausreichende Stabilität gegen
eine Abknickung des Antennenbleches 21 in Längsrichtung des Antennenschlitzes 22 gewahrleistet ist. Das Antennenblech kann auch allseitig abgewinkelt werden. Mit den seitlich abgewinkelte Kanten 211 kann auch eine Verbesserung des raumli- chen Abstrahlungsverhaltens im Nahbereich der Schlitzantenne 2 bewirkt werden.
Das Antennenblech kann über zusatzliche Befestigungsmittel, z.B. mit zwei Schrauben, an einem Untergrund befestigt wer- den. Über zusatzliche Abstandsmittel, z.B. zwei Abstandsbolzen 4, kann ein gewünschter Abstand zwischen Untergrund und Schlitzantenne eingestellt werden. Es können auch mehr oder weniger Befestigungselemente verwendet werden.
Vorteilhaft ist es, wenn die Oberflache des Untergrundes e- lektrisch leitend ist, d.h. einen zumindest metallischen U- berzug aufweist. Sind in diesem Fall die zusatzlichen Abstandsmittel zusatzlich elektrisch leitend, d.h. ist ein guter elektrischer Kontakt zwischen dem Antennenblech und dem metallischen Untergrund, hergestellt, so kann damit das Abstrahlverhalten des Transponders des erfindungsgemaßen Daten- tragers 1 erheblich verbessert werden. Der metallische Untergrund bewirkt eine Reflexion von Sendeenergie in Richtung auf die Oberseite 212 des Datenträgers, so dass die Ubertragungs- reichweite des Transponders deutlich gesteigert werden kann. Bevorzugt sind das plattenformige Antennenblech und die Oberflache des Untergrundes annähernd parallel zueinander angeordnet .
Falls der Untergrund, auf dem der mobile Datenträger 1 montiert ist, nicht elektrische leitend ist, so kann gemäß der in Figur 3 dargestellten Ausfuhrung an der von der Schlitzantenne 2 abgewandten Seite der Abstandsmittel 41,42 eine zusatzliche Basisplatte 5 angebracht sein. Diese ist bevorzugt zumindest auf der Oberflache elektrisch leitend. Der Abstand zwischen dem plattenformigen Antennenblech 21 und der Basisplatte 5 kann in diesem Fall durch entsprechende Auswahl der
Abstandsbolzen 41, 42 so eingestellt werden, dass der Transponder des Datenträgers, d.h. die Anordnung aus dem 0- berflachenwellenbauelement 3 und der Schlitzantenne 2, eine möglichst große Empfangs- bzw. Sendereichweite aufweist. Zu- satzlich entsteht auf der Unterseite 213 des Antennenbleches 21 ein gegen mechanische Eingriffe geschützter Aufnahme 7 für das Oberflächenwellenbauelement 3. Die Anordnung von Figur 3 stellt eine besonders vorteilhafte kompakte Baueinheit dar. Diese ist unabhängig vom Einsatzzweck des mobilen Datentra- gers 1 und damit insbesondere unabhängig vom Untergrund, auf dem der Datenträger angebracht wird. Sie weist unabhängig vom Einsatzfall gleichbleibend optimale Empfangs- und Sendeeigenschaften auf, welche im wesentlichen durch die Gestaltung und die gegenseitige räumliche Anordnung von Antennenblech 21 und metallischer Basisplatte 5 bedingt sind.
In einem Ausnahmefall kann es notwendig werden, dass trotz eines etwaigen Ausfalls des Oberflachenwellenbauelements 3 die darauf befindliche Identifikationsmarke trotzdem noch i- dentifiziert werden muss. Um dies zu ermöglichen, weisen die in den Figuren 1 und 4 dargestellten Ausfuhrungen entsprechende Ergänzungen auf. So kann durch z. B. Prägen, Stanzen oder mittels Barcode oder ähnlichem zusatzlich eine Identifikationsnummer 6 auf der Oberseite des Antennenbleches aufge- bracht werden. Diese kann optisch mit dem menschlichen Auge oder mit einer Kamera und einer Bilderkennung ausgelesen werden.
Die in den Figuren 5 und 6 dargestellten Ausfuhrungsformen des erfindungsgemaßen mobilen Datenträgers 1 weisen den besonderen Vorteil auf, dass die Schlitzantenne 2 des Transponders ein Antennenblech 21 mit einer möglichst kleinen Flache aufweist. Bei Ausführung von Figur 5 ist der Antennenschlitz 22 diagonal, bei Ausfuhrung von Figur 6 z.B. z- oder s-formig abgewinkelt ausgeführt. Hiermit kann eine deutliche Verkürzung der Kantenlange des Antennenbleches 22 und damit der gesamten Abmessungen des Datenträgers 1 erzielt werden. Dabei
weist die Ausfuhrung von Figur 6 mit z- formigem Antennenschlitz die kürzeste Kantenlange auf.
Gemäß der Ausfuhrung von Figur 4 kann die Schlitzantenne 2 aus Antennenblech 21 mit Antennenschlitz 22 auch asymmetrisch ausgeführt sein.
Das für das Antennenblech 21 der Schlitzantenne 2 eingesetzte Material weist vorteilhaft eine möglichst gute Leitfähigkeit auf. Vorteilhaft sind Aluminium, Kupfer, Weißblech, Stahl.
Als Basisflache können auch nichtleitende Materialien mit metallisierter Oberflache dienen. Die Basisflache kann grundsatzlich beliebig geformt se n. Die Oberflache kann vortei- haft völlig oder teilweise metallisiert sein. Die Basisflache wird bei Verwendung eines erfindungsgemaßen mobilen Datenträgers 1 bei einem sogenannten Identifikationssystem z.B. durch die Außenseite eines Stuckgutes gebildet.
Die Kontaktierung des Oberflachenwellenbauelements 3 auf der Schlitzantenne 2 erfolgt vorteilhaft durch Loten, Leitkleber, bzw. durch eine Kombination von Loten und nichtleitendem Kleben, welches dann nur zur mechanischen Halterung dient. Wird ein Hochtemperaturlot eingesetzt, so kann die Identiflkati- onsmarke auch bei Temperaturen über 200 °C eingesetzt werden.
Das Aufbringen der optisch lesbaren Identifikationsnummer 6 kann erfolgen z.B. durch Prägen, Stanzen, Aufbringen mit dem Laser, mechanische Gravur, Aufbringen eines gestanzten oder bedruckten Etiketts, direkter Aufdruck mit Tintenstrahldruck.
Claims
1. Mobiler Datenträger (1), gekennzeichnet durch einen Transponder aus
a) einer Schlitzantenne (2) und
b) einem Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3), welches elektrisch leitend mit der Schlitzantenne (2) verbunden ist.
2. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) eine OFW- Identifikationsmarke ist.
3. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) ein OFW- Sensor ist.
4. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, da- durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schlitzantenne (2) flachig ist.
5. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schlitzantenne (2) plattenfor- mige ist.
6. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) auf der Unterseite (213) der Schlitzantenne (2) angebracht ist.
7. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) abhangig von dessen Eingangsimpe- danz in einem Mittenbereich (222) oder einem Endbereich (221) der Schlitzantenne (2) positioniert ist.
8. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Unterseite (213) der Schlitzantenne (2) bevorzugt elektrisch leitende Abstandsmittel, insbesondere metallische Abstandbol- zen (41,42), angebracht sind.
9. Mobiler Datenträger (1) Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der von der Schlitzantenne (2) abgewandten Seite der Abstandsmittel (41,42) eine Basisplatte (5) angebracht ist.
10. Mobiler Datenträger (1) Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Basisplatte (5) zumindest auf der Oberflache elektrisch leitend ist.
11. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schlitzantenne (2) ein Antennenblech (21) mit einem Antennenschlitz (22) aufweist.
12. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) elektrische Anschlusskontakte (31,32) aufweist, welche links und rechts des Antennenschlitzes (22) elektrisch lei- tend kontaktiert sind.
13. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach Anspruch 11 oder 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Antennenschlitz (22 zumindest teilweise über das Oberflächenwellenbauelement (3) hinweggefuhrt ist.
14. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Antennenblech (21) seitlich abgewinkelte Kanten (211) aufweist.
15. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Antennen- schlitz (22) in einer diagonalen Richtung in das Antennenblech (21) eingebracht ist.
16. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Antennenschlitz (22) eine abgewinkelte Form aufweist.
17. Mobiler Datenträger (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Antennen- schlitz (22) s-formig ist.
