Description

The invention relates to fire protection glazing from several in one common level fire screens, with a prop that spaced apart from the glazing and arranged in the room is bounded by space-limiting surfaces, the support being attached to it fortified support bracket is connected to fire screens, the edges adjoin one another while maintaining a butt joint.

Such fire protection glazing is known from EP 0 658 677 B1. On An essential static element of this fire protection glazing is a Support structure made of a free space in the room to the fire protection panels arranged metal support with its ends on the respective space-limiting surfaces is attached. Lead from the metal support Metal brackets to the neighboring fire protection panels. At the free ends the consoles are provided with support plates for this purpose, which with other Support plates screwed to the other side of the respective fire protection window are. The screw connection penetrates holes with which the Fire protection panes must first be provided in their corner areas.

The production of such bores in the corner area of the fire protection panes is difficult because modern fire protection panels with multiple layers Glass layers arranged, a foaming protective agent in the event of fire containing layers are built up, and fire protection windows as a result of this React critically to punctiform mechanical loads. Especially Fire protection panes are sensitive in the edge area and here in turn Corner area, which is why it is desirable to be close to these critical zones to avoid subsequent mechanical processing as far as possible. This is advantageous for fire protection glazing according to EP 0 658 677 B1 free-standing in the room outside the glazing level Support structure. In the event of a fire, its metal support is all-round Exposed to heat so that they are substantially uniform and can expand without major tension. As a result of this largely low-stress behavior can also be temperature-related tensions keep fire protection glazing low so that it lasts longer permanent exposure to fire and heat does not show any pronounced bulges.

The object of the invention is to provide fire protection glazing which behaves in a stress-free manner in the event of a fire and in which critical mechanical loads in the problematic edge and corner region of the fire protection panes are avoided.

To solve this problem, it is proposed in a fire protection glazing with the features mentioned that there is a spacer connected to the support bracket in the butt joint, on which the fire protection pane arranged in each case stands up, and that the spacer on the side of the glazing facing away from the support by a plate is covered, which additionally covers part of the edge of the fire protection panes.

Such fire protection glazing comes without any holes in it critical edge and corner area of the fire protection panes involved. Mechanical stress peaks due to a point or line Removal of the considerable weight of the multi-layer fire protection windows are avoided. Rather, the fire protection window with its front or Flat surface on a spacer, which with the support bracket connected is. The mechanical stress on the sensitive edge of the Fire protection panes are significantly lower than in the prior art. to The side forces are absorbed on the side of the support facing away from the support Glazing provided a panel. By making this plate part of the edge of the Fire protection panes are covered, the lateral forces from the plate the support bracket is led onto the support. The plate also covers that Spacer, so that this at least when viewed from the front Fire protection glazing is not visible.

According to a preferred embodiment, the spacer consists of wood, preferably made of laminated wood. To improve resistance the wood can be suitably pretreated against fire, for example through impregnation that increases the flash point.

According to a further embodiment of the fire protection glazing, it is provided that that the support bracket in cross section consists of a wooden core, which on all sides of Fire protection panels are surrounded. In an analogous manner, the support in the Cross-section consist of a wooden core, all sides of fire protection panels is surrounded. In both cases, the outer sides of the Fire protection panels with wooden cladding, so that for the The viewer sees the impression of a support structure made entirely of wood arises.

A preferred embodiment of the fire protection glazing is marked through a spacer in the form of a four-armed cross, each of the through the four arms defined quadrants the corner of a fire screen receives. To improve the mechanical stability of the spacer further proposed that the four arms of the spacer be one going out common core.

According to a further embodiment, the transition from one to next arm of the spacer rounded. With such a rounding the strength of the spacer can be improved in those areas where the stress due to the weight load on the respective arm itself supporting fire protection window is particularly large.

When using a spacer in the form of a four-armed cross, it is an advantage if the corners of the fire protection panes are chamfered, preferably below 45 ° with respect to the edges of the fire protection window. On this way it is ensured that the fire protection window is only is supported flat on or on one of the arms of the spacer without it mechanical loads in the immediate corner area of the Fire protection window is coming.

With the invention it is further proposed that the plate with the support bracket is screwed. This facilitates the installation of the fire protection glazing. First becomes that consisting of the support, the support brackets and the spacers Support structure created. Then the individual fire protection panes put on, with the spacers in exact spacing and Alignment to be kept. Finally, the backup is done in lateral direction by placing the spacers and their Screwed to the respective support bracket. It is advantageous here if According to a further embodiment of the invention, the screw connection by a Bore in the spacer is passed. In this way the Tighten the screw connection the spacer between the support bracket and the plate clamped.

To clearly define and secure the position and orientation of the plate in Regarding the support bracket, it is finally proposed that the plate on its the side facing the glazing with recesses for partially receiving the Spacer is provided. This configuration allows gaps Avoid between the spacer on the one hand and the plate on the other, whereby the Distance between the front of the support bracket and the plate completely from the spacer is bridged and thus a correspondingly large area of the Spacer is available to attach the fire shield with your Remove the front or butt surface.

The fire protection glazing shown in Fig. 1 serves the translucent Subdivision of two adjoining rooms and consists of a total nine fixed fire protection panes 1 Fire protection glazing can also be movable and designed as a door leaf Fire protection glass. Such fire protection glazing under Inclusion of a double leaf door is such. B. in EP 0 658 677 B1 shown.

To fix the fire protection glazing, this is first along the space-limiting surfaces, d. H. the walls 2, the ceiling 3 and the floor 4 as a substantially conventional, wall-side frame construction 6 executed. Only this wall-side frame construction 6 would Fire protection glazing, however, still lacks sufficient stability give lateral forces. Rather, there are two additional support structures provided each using a support 7, each support 7 with Its lower end on the floor 4 and its upper end on the ceiling 3 of the Room is attached. The two supports 7 are in the embodiment 1 behind the actual plane of the glazing freely in the room, which is why the supports 7 are shown in dashed lines.

Horizontal support brackets 8 extend from the vertical supports 7 those points of the glazing at which the corners of a total of four adjacent fire protection panels 1 meet. In Fig. 1, only one plate 9 can be seen from each support bracket 8, which the Carrying bracket covers on the front side. The corners of those involved Fire protection panes are between this plate 9 and the end face 14 the support bracket 8 clamped and in this way in the lateral direction secured.

In Fig. 2 sind Einzelheiten der statischen Anbindung der Brandschutzscheiben 1 unter Verwendung der Stütze 7, der Tragkonsole 8, der Platte 9 sowie weiterer, nachfolgend noch näher beschriebener Teile dargestellt.2 shows details of the static connection of the fire protection panes 1 using the support 7, the support bracket 8, the plate 9 and others, parts described in more detail below.

The support 7 consists of a core 10 made of hardwood, with all sides Fire protection panels 11, preferably based on calcium silicate, is clad. The fire protection panels 11 are in turn for aesthetic reasons provided on the outside with a wooden panel 12. Preferably, the Cross section of the support 7 square or rectangular, but can be in a round wooden support is basically the same construction.

The cross section of the horizontal support bracket 8 corresponds in principle to that Cross section of the support 7. The support bracket 8 is also composed of a core 10 made of hardwood, this core surrounding fire protection panels 11 and finally an optical wood panel 12 together. The cross section of the Support bracket 8 is square in the embodiment. The support bracket 8 is via long screws 13 which extend from the end face 14 of the support bracket 8, screwed to the core of the support 7.

Fig. 3 shows a section through the support bracket 8 with the central core 10, the Fire protection panels 11 and the wood cladding 12. Also shown in Dashed lines placed on the end face 14 of the support bracket 8 Spacer 15. The spacer 15 is shown in section in Fig. 2 and consists of laminated wood, which is preferably fire-resistant is impregnated.

Im Bereich des Kerns 17 ist das Distanzstück in der Weise gestaltet, daß der Übergang von einem Arm 16a zum nächstfolgenden Arm 16b nach Art einer Rundung 18 gestaltet ist.4, in which the spacer 15 is shown on its own, shows the cross-shaped design of the spacer with a total of four arms 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d. The width and height of the spacer 15 corresponds to the width and Height of the support bracket 8, on the end face 14, the spacer 15 is arranged is. The four arms 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d of the spacer 15 go from one common core 17 out. In the area of the core 17, the spacer is in the Designed so that the transition from one arm 16a to the next arm 16b is designed in the manner of a curve 18.

As a result of the arms 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d, there are a total of eight on the spacer 15 flat and flat contact surfaces 19 for the fire protection panes of the glazing educated. In Fig. 5 it is shown how the total of four on the spacer 15 meeting fire protection panes 1 in their corner area on the Contact surfaces 19 of the spacer 15 rest. It is important that the Corners of the fire protection panes 1 are provided with bevels 20. The Bevels 20 lie at an angle of 45 ° with respect to the one in question Edges 21 of the fire protection pane 1. As a result of the bevels 20, it occurs no corner contact between the sensitive fire protection panes 1 and the spacer 15. Rather, the fire protection panes 1 are exclusively with their straight edges 21 on the also just designed Contact surfaces 19 so that there is a flat and non-linear or punctiform support of the sensitive fire protection panes 1 results.

The thickness of the four arms of the spacer 15 determines the width b of the butt joint 22 between neighboring fire protection panes. This butt joint 22 is after The fire protection glazing has been installed with a silicone filling locked.

While the horizontal and to a lesser extent the vertical forces in the glazing level on the spacer 15 and the support bracket 8 on the Support 7 are dissipated, the lateral forces on the one hand by the Face 14 of the support bracket 8, and on the other hand received by the plate 9. For this purpose, the plate 9 by means of the screw 23, the head of which is on the outside the plate 9 supports, screwed to the core 10 of the support bracket 8. The Screw 23 is through a bore 24 in the middle, i. H. in core 17 of Spacer 15 passed through.

In Figs. 6a and 6b show that the plate 9 on its glazing facing side 25 with recesses 26 for partial inclusion of the Spacer is provided. Correspondingly, the depressions 26 are made of wood existing plate 9 shaped with a small oversize just like the cruciform contour of the spacer 15.
