Claims (2)
- Kolben für einen Verbrennungsmotor mit einem ringförmig angeordneten Kühlkanal (2), der aus einer linken und einer rechten Kühlkanalhälfte (3, 4) besteht und der eine erste und eine zweite Öffnung (5, 6) aufweist, wobei Kühlöl durch eine Kühlmitteldüse (7) als freier Ölstrahl in die erste Öffnung (5) und damit in den Kühlkanal (2) zuführbar ist und durch die zweite Öffnung (6) abführbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Bodenfläche des Kühlkanals (2) im Bereich der Zulauföffnung (5) ein in radiale Richtung verlaufendes Rippenelement (11) angeordnet ist, wobei die Lage des Rippenelementes (11) in Bezug auf den Mittelpunkt der Zulauföffnung (5) abhängt von der Ausrichtung der Kühlmitteldüse (7) derart, daß der Kühlmittelstrom zu gleichen Teilen in die linke und rechte Kühlkanalhälfte (3, 4) eingeleitet wird.
- Kolben nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die erste und die zweite Öffnung (5, 6) gleiche Abmessungen aufweisen und symmetrisch im Kühlkanal (2 ) angeordnet sind, derart, daß sowohl die erste als auch die zweite Öffnung (5, 6) als Zulauf- bzw. Abflußöffnung einsetzbar sind, wobei das Rippenelement (11) in der Draufsicht auf die Kühlkanalebene einmal links und einmal rechts in Bezug auf die Bolzenbohrungmittellinie des Kolbens angeordnet.
