Definitions
- the invention is based on a method for producing a Contact fingers for a plug contact according to the preamble of claim 1.
- contact fingers for a plug contact are the current-carrying contact surfaces Part of the thin side surfaces.
- the contact fingers are made from one thin band (for example copper or aluminum) punched.
- the thickness of the The contact finger is even and corresponds to the thickness of the band.
- punching Material utilization of around 50%.
- punching they form on the contact surfaces Punch burrs and breaks that impair the contact properties.
- the stamped contact fingers improve the contact properties then finished in elaborate steps with a lot of manual work, for example by silvering.
- the individual contact fingers are on Frame hung and finished together.
- the entire surface of the Refined contact fingers The uniform thickness of the contact finger leads in particular to increase in the range from narrow lead sections to contact transitions Resistors, the electrical properties of the plug contact, in particular affect the short-circuit strength.
- the object of the invention is as set out in the claims to create a process which is resource-efficient, simple and enables cost-effective production of refined contact fingers.
- Next is a with this method to produce contact fingers with improved electrical To create properties.
- the contact fingers produced using the method according to the invention also include only the side surfaces refined. This means a not insignificant one Material savings on mostly expensive finishing material, such as silver, Gold, platinum or palladium.
- the Profile bar only partially refined, especially in the area of contact points. This allows the material requirement for the finishing per contact finger except for the reduce the absolutely necessary minimum.
- the contact fingers by means of an abrasive powder, if necessary cut the loaded gas or liquid jet from the profile rod. Thereby the actual contact points are not affected. It will be very high quality Creates side surfaces that only have fine bones on the edges, which can be removed using ball polishing.
- Fig. 1 shows a plug contact with two inserted, parallel contact fingers 1.
- the plug contact includes the contact fingers 1, a support plate 7, a clamping device 8 and a current conductor 9.
- the contact fingers 1 are each with two contact surfaces A 1 and A 2 on the side of Washer 7 on. This is round and at least as thick as the contact fingers 1.
- a current conductor 9 is fastened to the support disc 7, via which the plug contact is connected.
- the current conductor 9 is rigidly attached to the support plate 7.
- the current conductor 9 can be rotated together with the washer 7 around the center of the washer. From the outside, the clamping device 8 presses the two contact fingers 1 onto the support disk 7.
- the clamping device 8 When the mating contact piece 10 is plugged in, which is inserted from the right between the two contact fingers 1 and presses it outward in the region of the contact surface B, the clamping device 8 increases it by the Contact finger applied pressure. The contact surfaces A 1 and A 2 of the contact fingers then rest on the support disc 7.
- the manufacturing method according to the invention can be seen from FIG. 2.
- the die in the Profile the shape of the contact finger profile.
- This profile bar 2 is then refined, for example by immersing the rod in a silver bath or by Apply an appropriate layer of silver to the bar attached to a frame.
- the profile bar thus has a refined surface 3.
- the contact fingers 1 are then disc-wise from the profile rod 2 separated.
- Cutting by means of a is particularly advantageous optionally loaded with an abrasive powder (e.g. fine sand) Gas or liquid jet 4, such as a water jet.
- abrasive powder e.g. fine sand
- Gas or liquid jet 4 such as a water jet.
- the emerging Cut surfaces form the top surfaces 11 of the contact fingers. Arise at the edges fine bones, which can be easily removed by polishing the balls.
- the contact fingers are made into a mass together with a soapy water given hardened and highly polished steel balls, which are usually characterized by start a vibration bowl or a rotating drum.
- the Balls hammer the contact fingers from all sides, compressing and hardening them Surfaces and remove the fine bones. After cutting and polishing the Contact fingers no longer require a further process step.
- the finishing material saved for the cover surfaces 11 can be added with a normally high number of manufactured contact fingers lead to a not inconsiderable reduction in manufacturing costs. With a common thickness of the contact fingers of 2-3 mm and a total surface of the contact fingers of approx. 1,000 mm 2 , around 60-70% of the finishing material can be saved.
- the contact fingers produced with the inventive method can have regions of different thickness.
- Fig. 4 shows such a contact finger. In the middle it has the normal thickness d of, for example, 3 mm.
- the contact resistances R CB , R CA1 and R CA2 are, for given contact materials, dependent on the force F with which the respective contact surface of the contact finger is pressed onto the mating contact piece 10 or the washer 7.
- R C k 1 ⁇ F -0.6 + k 2 ⁇ ⁇ 0 ⁇ F -1
- the forces can be distributed in the contact surfaces and the contact resistances can thus be adjusted.
- the lead resistances R LA-B and R LA1-A2 depend on the cross-section of the contact finger and thus, for a given profile, on the thickness of the contact finger.
- the lead resistance R LA-B can thus be reduced to such an extent that, with an appropriate arrangement of the contact areas along the support plate, the contact resistance R CA2 and the lead resistance R LA-B in series are the same size as the contact resistance R CA1 in parallel.
- the short-circuit current is divided evenly between the current paths through the two contact areas A 1 and A 2 . Repulsive or repulsion forces that form on the contact surfaces are reduced and the short-circuit strength of the plug contact is significantly improved. In addition, there is no uneven, local warming.
- the ratio of the currents through the contact areas is approximately with a suitable arrangement of the contact areas I A2 I A1 ⁇ 1 1.4
- the material utilization in the production of contact fingers 1 with different thicknesses d A and d B is only slightly less good than with absolutely flat contact fingers.
- the cutting gap 5 is only slightly enlarged in the area of the middle of the contact fingers, so that some waste material arises.
- Two mirror-symmetrical contact fingers are required for a plug contact. Only one of the two mirror-symmetrical contact fingers is cut off from a profile rod 2. The others from a different profile bar. This allows the material to be used optimally.
