- a computer is preferably used as the central station, wherein the computer can be designed as a PC, laptop or notebook.
- the computer has a special software that is able to establish a connection to the machine and to activate software installed in the controller C, so that data from the machine software can be read out from the electronic control and corrected data can be read back from the central station Z can be transferred to machine A.
- the computer of the central station Z has the modem M Z , the necessary software and a data memory in which the data of the electronic controls St of all the machines A to be monitored are stored. This makes it possible to check the data currently present in machine A and, if necessary, to change them.
- the controller C in the machine A is provided with a device which contains a wake-up circuit which makes it possible to activate the connection between the machine's modem M A and the electronic control unit St without any intervention in the machine A.
- the wake-up circuit works in such a way that modem commands are recorded by the software of the controller C and forwarded to the controller.
- FIG. 2 shows the algorithm according to which an error detection and fault elimination or a change in the automatic programming can take place.
- the operator works on a laptop, which acts as the central station Z and sends - for example after receiving a fault message from the machine - the number of the machine modem M a via a cell phone connected to the laptop. If the connection between the two modems M a and M z is established, a password stored in the machine A and in the operator software of the central station Z is sent and checked. If the password is accepted, the controller C sends a wake-up call to the machine control unit St, with which it is switched to the transmission mode and the machine software can be read into the central station. Then the connection between the two modems M a and M z is automatically interrupted by the controller C. The software is then checked or revised in the central station Z and is then transmitted back to the machine control unit St by means of the two modems M a and M z via the controller C of the machine A in analogy to the method of operation described above.

Abstract
Description
- Figur 1
