Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drain fitting for a toilet cistern, with a liftable for a partial or full flush valve body of a drain valve, with a arranged in a float housing within the cistern lower buoyancy body, which is prevented during the partial flushing at a lift, and with an upper Buoyancy, wherein the valve body is supported in the full flush on at least the lower buoyant body and the partial flush only on the upper buoyant body and wherein the lower buoyant body is held stationary during the partial flush by particular magnetic holding force in the float housing, wherein for the full flush on the valve body a driver is provided, which stands out at a larger stroke of the valve body than that required in the partial flush the lower buoyant body of its magnetic thrust bearing against the action of the magnetic force.
  • Such a toilet cistern has become known for example from DE 197 30 271 C1.
  • the present invention is based on the object to simplify the operation in a drain fitting of the type mentioned.
  • At least one projection is provided on the lower buoyancy body, which protrudes downward through the bottom of the float housing in the direction of the driver.
  • the advantage achieved by the invention is that only the valve body is raised to trigger the full and partial flushes and depending on the lifting height, the full or partial flush is triggered. In addition, only a single actuator acting on the valve body is required. Since fewer items are needed, the assembly of the drain fitting according to the invention simplifies ebenmersls.
  • the respective attack lever are rotationally coupled movement with the actuating lever.
  • the attack levers can be arranged parallel to each other.
  • each actuating mechanism has at least one lever arm and at least one connecting strut articulated therewith, which is connected in an articulated manner to the engagement lever.
  • lever arms are directed at a closed drain valve approximately at 45 ° obliquely downward. Then, the lever arms can be operated either in the horizontal direction of pressure via a front access opening in the cistern or operated in the vertical direction of pressure via a top of the cistern arranged inspection opening. This allows for the same leverage, the arrangement of the push buttons either on the front or top of the cistern.
  • the actuating lever and the lever arms of the two actuating mechanisms are each rotatably mounted on a bearing block, wherein each actuating mechanism in each case by a standing over a push rod in operative connection Button is actuated from the outside.
  • the bearing block with the two actuating mechanisms is a unit that can be removed as a part of the cistern. Should the mechanics of the actuation mechanisms be defective, a simple exchange can thus take place.
  • each actuating mechanism has a sleeve radially spaced from the pivot axis of the actuating lever for receiving the push rod.
  • the sleeves are rotatably mounted parallel to the pivot axis of the actuating lever, wherein the point of application for the user-initiated force remains unchanged.
  • the push rods may e.g. be clipped into the sleeves in different positions. This allows the same components, i. Revision plate, push rods and actuation mechanisms for different deep or high cisterns are used.
  • the designated in Fig. 1 with 1 drain fitting is installed in a toilet cistern 2 and has a the discharge opening 3 of the cistern 2 occlusive or releasing drain valve 4 .
  • the valve body 5 of the drain valve 4 forms a vertically aligned overflow pipe, at the lower end of which is a cooperating with a valve seat 6 of the cistern 2 sealing washer 7 is located. By acting on the sealing washer 7 water pressure, the drain valve 4 remains closed.
  • the valve body 5 extends through an upwardly open cup-shaped float housing 8 upwards, which is fixed in the cistern 2 in a manner not shown in detail (for example via a bayonet connection on Spülkastenboden).
  • an upper buoyancy body 10 are provided around the valve body 5 around a lower buoyancy body 9 and above this an upper buoyancy body 10 .
  • the lower buoyant body 9 is located within the float housing 8, while the upper buoyant body 10 only partially protrudes into the float housing 8. In other embodiments, the upper buoyant body 10 may also be located above the float housing 8.
  • the valve body 5 is continuously supported on the upper buoyant body 10 by means of a hold-down device 11 , while it rests on the lower buoyancy body 9 with the aid of a contact disk 12 only when the drainage valve is closed (FIG. 1) and during the full flushing (FIG. 2).
  • the lower buoyant body 9 on the valve body 5 slidably guided between its stationary held lower and its the Ventil stresses.5 supporting upper layer.
  • the lower buoyancy body 9 is held by magnetic force in the float housing 8 stationary.
  • parts 14 and arranged below the lower buoyancy body 9 parts 15 together magnetically together.
  • the magnetic holding force of the parts 14 and 15 is greater than the sum of the buoyancy forces of the two buoyancy bodies 9, 10.
  • two projections 16 are provided by openings in the bottom 13 of the float housing 8 in the direction of one for the Gasket 7 provided contact surface 17 of the valve body 5 protrude.
  • the valve body 5 is lifted on the tab 18 by means of the actuator only so far that the projections 16 are not taken up.
  • the drain valve 4 is opened, and the water level 20 in the cistern 2 begins to decrease. Since the magnetic holding force of the parts 14 and 15 is greater than the buoyancy force of the lower buoyant body 9, this is further held stationary in the float housing 8 in its lower position and thus put out of action. That is, the lower buoyancy body 9 is prevented from buoyancy and does not support the lifted valve body 5, which is now held only by the buoyancy force of the upper buoyant body 10 in its raised position opening the drain valve 4.
  • the upper buoyancy body 10 floats on the water and lowers with the further decreasing water level.
  • the valve body 5 supported by the hold-down 11 on the upper buoyant body 10 also lowers until it closes the drain valve 4.
  • the water level still prevailing in the float housing 8 is designated 20 ' in FIG. 3 and defines the amount of water that has flowed away for the partial flushing.
  • the actuator 21 shown in Fig. 4 comprises a bearing block 22 which is fastened to the inside of the rear wall of the cistern.
  • a first actuating mechanism 23 for triggering the full flush and a second actuating mechanism 24 for triggering the partial flush are provided in parallel side by side.
  • the bearing block 22 has two receptacles 25, 26 , in which a pivot axis 27 is mounted. Between the receptacles 25, 26 carries the pivot axis 27 an actuating lever 28 with an upwardly open receptacle 29 at its free end, in which the valve body 5 is hooked with its tab 18.
  • each two parallel attack lever 30 and 31 rotatably connected.
  • the bearing block 22 has two receptacles 32, 33 , in which bearing pins 34, 35 are rotatably mounted.
  • bearing pins 34, 35 are rotatably mounted on both sides of each receptacle 32, 33 , respectively rotatably connected to the respective bearing pin 34, 35 two parallel lever arms 36 and 37 , which together with their respective bearing pin 34, 35 each form an integral unit.
  • two connecting struts 40, 41 hinged the other ends are hingedly connected to the free ends of the attack lever 30 and 31 respectively.
  • a Sleeve 43, 44 rotatably mounted, in which a horizontally oriented push rod 45, 46 is received.
  • the hinge points 42, 39 are each equidistant from the bearing pins 34, 35 spaced.
  • 24 is an externally actuable pushbutton (not shown) which is in operative connection with the respective push rod 45, 46. By pressing the respective push button, the corresponding push rod 45 and 46 is moved in the horizontal pressure direction 47 , whereby the corresponding pair of lever arms 36 and 37 is pivoted downwards.
  • the leverage ratios and thus the respective pressing forces required for pressing the push buttons and thus for the full and partial flushes adjust.
  • the engagement lever 30 is shorter than the engagement lever 31, and the connecting strut 40 closer to the bearing pin 34 hinged as the connecting strut 41 on the bearing pin 35th
  • the lever arms 36, 37 are in the closed starting position of the drain fitting 1 (Fig. 1) directed at 45 ° obliquely downward, so that the sleeves 43, 44 and the push rods 45, 46 either, as shown in Fig. 4, aligned horizontally and can be actuated in the horizontal direction of pressure 47 via a front inspection opening in the cistern 2 or vertically aligned and can be operated in the vertical printing direction via a top of the cistern 2 arranged inspection opening.
  • This allows for the same leverage ratios, the arrangement of the push buttons either on the front or top of the cistern. 2
