Abstract
Description
- une durée de bobinage augmentée ;
- des couches de recouvrement de l'insert qui constituent de la matière supplémentaire ne participant pas à la tenue du récipient à la pression du fluide et alourdissant ce récipient ;
- un amincissement de l'insert au niveau de ses extrémités, c'est-à-dire en direction de la paroi latérale du récipient d'une part et en direction du sommet du dôme d'autre part, pour permettre le recouvrement de cet insert sans que les couches de recouvrement ne subissent des ruptures de niveau ; cet insert protège par conséquent le récipient essentiellement contre des chutes "obliques", c'est-à-dire avec l'axe du récipient formant un angle d'environ 45° avec la surface d'impact, mais ne protège pratiquement pas ce récipient contre des chocs se produisant au niveau du sommet du dôme, dans le cas d'une chute "verticale", c'est-à-dire avec l'axe du récipient sensiblement perpendiculaire à la surface d'impact, ou contre des chocs se produisant au niveau de la portion de la paroi latérale du récipient adjacente à la base du dôme, dans le cas d'une chute "horizontale", c'est-à-dire avec l'axe du récipient formant un angle faible ou nul avec cette même surface d'impact.
- une coque en matériau résistant au poinçonnement, conformée pour envelopper au moins l'ensemble d'un dôme du récipient, en délimitant un espace entre sa face interne et la face externe de la paroi du récipient ; et
- un matériau compressible propre à amortir un choc ou un impact, remplissant l'intégralité de l'espace précité.
Claims (9)
- Dispositif (2) de protection d'un récipient (1), en particulier d'un récipient en matériau composite destiné à contenir un fluide sous pression, et présentant une paroi latérale cylindrique (1a) et des extrémités arrondies (1b), couramment dénommées "dômes", dispositif (2) caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend :une coque (10) en matériau résistant au poinçonnement, conformée pour envelopper au moins l'ensemble d'un dôme (1b) du récipient (1), en délimitant un espace entre sa face interne et la face externe de la paroi du récipient (1) ; etun matériau compressible (11) propre à amortir un choc ou un impact, remplissant l'intégralité de l'espace précité.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la coque (10) est réalisée en résine synthétique, notamment en résine thermoplastique telle que acrylonitrile-butadiène-styrène ou polycarbonate.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le matériau compressible (11) est du polystyrène expansé, une mousse de polyuréthanne ou de polyéthylène, ou toute autre matière synthétique expansée.
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'il est conformé pour recouvrir non seulement l'ensemble du dôme (1b) du récipient (1), mais également la portion de la paroi latérale (1a) du récipient (1) adjacente à la base de ce dôme (1 b).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la coque (10) présente, du côté de la paroi latérale (1a) du récipient (1), une paroi (10a) sensiblement parallèle à l'axe du récipient (1) et, du côté du sommet du dôme (1b) du récipient (1), une paroi (10b) perpendiculaire à cet axe, ces deux parois (10a, 10b) se raccordant l'une à l'autre par une zone arrondie (10c).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, destiné à équiper un récipient (1) comprenant un embout de raccordement (7) situé au sommet du dôme (1b), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une saillie annulaire (12) dont la hauteur est telle qu'elle s'étend au-delà de l'extrémité libre dudit embout (7) lorsque le dispositif (2) est placé sur ce dôme (1b).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce qu'il est monté de manière amovible sur le récipient (1).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, ledit embout (7) étant fileté au niveau de son extrémité libre, caractérisé en ce qu'il est conformé pour entourer cet embout (7) de telle sorte que la face extérieure de la coque (10) vienne en retrait de l'extrémité libre filetée de l'embout (7), et en ce qu'il comprend une bague taraudée (8) propre à être vissée sur ledit embout (7) et à prendre appui sur ladite coque (10) pour assurer le montage du dispositif (2) sur le dôme (1b).
- Récipient (1) équipé du dispositif (2) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8.
