Definitions
- the invention relates to a scraper assembly with a Scraper blade and a blade carrier.
- Such a scraper arrangement is, for example, in The paper making used to roll over which is guided by a paper web, continuously through To clean cockroaches. Another purpose is also in papermaking the use in a Coater. The invention will be described in the following in connection with the cleaning of a calender roll described in the paper finishing, but without it to be limited.
- the paper web passed through a calender, i. one Stack of several rolls that nips between them form, in which the paper web with increased pressure and optionally also subjected to elevated temperature becomes. It is practically inevitable that smaller or larger particles from the paper web the surface of the calender roll are deposited. Around to prevent these deposits in subsequent Memorize sections of the paper web, a scraper is used, which rests against the roller. The rotation of the roller becomes the roller surface Continuing on the scraper blade, also called the scraper blade is referred to, moved along, so that deposits scraped off the roll surface.
- the rollers used in papermaking must have about the width of the paper web. This width is quite in the range of several meters, for example in the range of 5 to 10 m. Accordingly must also the doctor blade a corresponding length exhibit. Over this length, the doctor blade must be possible evenly against the roller. This will be in usually achieved by the scraper blade pressed against the roller with a relatively large pressure.
- the invention is based on the object, even low To allow contact pressures.
- the longitudinal direction is the direction that is parallel runs to the axis of beschabenden roller.
- the Width direction is the direction across it, i. the Direction, which is essentially parallel to a tangent goes to the roller to be beschobende.
- the blade carrier is made of a fiber-reinforced Plastic formed.
- reinforcing fibers For example, carbon fibers, glass fibers or else Plastic fibers into consideration.
- Fibers can be the desired ratio of Set stiffnesses in the longitudinal and width directions.
- the blade carrier has a longitudinal direction consistent profile. This changes the Stiffness in the width direction over the length practically Not. The contact pressure of the doctor blade to the roller So it can be kept even over the roll length become.
- the blade carrier is about an axis pivotally mounted on a blade holder, wherein between the blade carrier and the blade holder at least a printing element is arranged, which is independent from the pressure itself is similar.
- This pressure element can also used in conjunction with the scraper assembly when the above stiffness ratios are not given.
- Pressure elements are formed from hoses in the essentially have an oval cross-section. This oval cross-section, however, is flattened on the sides, where the hose on the blade holder and the blade carrier is applied.
- a pressure element is on both sides of the axis arranged. You can then print the elements not only to use the desired contact pressure the scraper blade to produce the roller, but also for the generation of a back pressure, for example for lifting the scraper blade from the roller can be used.
- the pressure element is a hose with a Dent on its facing the blade carrier Side trained in the one with the blade carrier interacting ram engages.
- the hose points So a rolling-bellows-like cross section, which is extends over the entire length of the blade holder. If the hose is pressurized then it will Although the ram pushed away from the blade holder, because the depth of the indentation decreases.
- the fundamental Form of the pressure element as a hose with indentation but remains over the entire range of motion received the plunger. Since the plunger in the area of the indentation forms an abutment for the hose results Here, too, a relatively high dimensional stability.
- the indentation in an equilibrium state in which the blade carrier and the blade holder are aligned parallel to each other, a Depth up to at least 30% of the height of the pressure element equivalent. This depth is enough, too, at the maximum allowable pivoting between blade holder and blade carrier the indentation in the hose maintain. Usually one gets the depth of the Select indentation such that a pivoting between the blade carrier and the blade holder by the length the ram is not limited.
- the plunger extends further in the direction on the blade holder as the distance between Blade carrier and axle. This applies to the above Equilibrium. In this arrangement result favorable moments.
- the tube on the sides do not have the indentation, a shape-stabilizing Support on.
- the indentation is only available on top of the hose.
- the underside and the other two sides (in cross section considered) do not change their shape and can Therefore be stiffened.
- the support formed by a U-shaped formation on the blade holder is.
- the tube is therefore in a U-shaped Recess on the blade holder. He will only be at his Blade carrier facing side deformed, wherein the Deformation is essentially limited to the indentation is.
- the pressure element designed as an eccentric which is parallel to the axis is rotatable.
- the eccentric By turning the eccentric can be the distance between the blade holder and the blade carrier change and the desired contact pressure of the Create scraper blade to the roller. If you have such Eccentric used on both sides of the axle, then you can set the desired geometries.
- the eccentric is mounted on a shaft, which can be actuated from outside the blade holder is. This facilitates the adjustment.
- the shaft is spring-loaded is.
- About the spring can be at least one Part of the range of rotational positions of the eccentric a certain flexibility even with an eccentric bearing achieve.
- the pressure element is as Spring formed with adjustable preload.
- a spring is an element that takes its form when loaded Although changes, but remains similar to itself. at Using a spring gives the possibility of a Movement between blade holder and blade carrier against the force exerted by the spring, this Force is adjustable.
- the spring is designed as a spring leaf, that in the region of an edge on a rotatable shaft is attached.
- the shaft By turning the shaft can be the Change the contact force of the spring leaf to its counter surface.
- This counter surface can, for example, by the Blade carrier be formed when the shaft on the blade holder is arranged, or vice versa.
- a distance of the free edge the scraper blade from the axle at least five times a distance between axis and force attack the blade remote printing element.
- This embodiment has the advantage that the doctor blade with relatively less Force or with a relatively low pressure the roller can be brought to the plant.
- the lever between the contact point of the scraper blade on the roller and the axis is much larger than the lever between the pressure element responsible for the system pressure and the axis, so that at the minimum distance the scraper blade with a fifth of the force on the Roller is pressed, which applies the pressure element.
- the doctor blade has a free Width that is at most as large as 2.5 times a distance between the blade end of the Blade holder and a clamping point of a blade holder.
- the distance between the nip and the blade end of the blade carrier is basically the main factor influencing the transmission of power Blade holder on the scraper blade. If you now the free width of the very flexible doctor blade limited, then you get here a relatively large Stiffness in the width direction.
- Vorzgumony has the blade recording an effective Opening at the maximum as large as 2 times the thickness of the scraper blade. This holds the target the doctor blade in the blade recording small, allows but on the other hand threading the scraper blade in the blade holder.
- the doctor blade has a holding width at least as large as the distance between the nip and the blade side End of the blade carrier.
- the holding width is here the width over which the scraper blade in the blade holder supported, i. the distance between the nip of the blade holder and the roller remote End of the scraper blade.
- the blade receptacle is from the blade carrier hinged. This facilitates the exchange of Scraper blade.
- the blade holder folded.
- the scraper blade can be removed a new or revised scraper blade is attached and the blade holder is closed again or closed. This is much easier than the doctor blade over a length of several meters in the longitudinal direction.
- the blade receiving locked in closed state with the blade carrier is. This increases the operational safety.
- a locking device passes through the blade carrier.
- the the blade holder facing away Side of the blade carrier is usually accessible, so that in this embodiment, a free access on the locking device has. This facilitates the locking and the subsequent control.
- Fig. 1 shows a scraper assembly 1 in the schematic Cross-section.
- the scraper assembly has a scraper blade 2 on, which are also referred to as a scraper blade can, which bears against a roller 3, which in Direction of an arrow 4 turns.
- the doctor blade 2 extends over the entire axial length of the roller 3, if necessary, it can also be a bit longer to to be able to change with respect to the roller 3.
- the doctor blade 2 is arranged in a blade holder 5, located at the roller-side end of a blade carrier 6 is located.
- the blade carrier 6 is at one Blade holder 7 attached and articulated, i. of the Blade carrier 6 is opposite to the blade holder 7 um an axis 8 pivotally.
- the blade carrier 6 is substantially plate-shaped educated. It consists of a fiber-reinforced Plastic, i. a plastic made by carbon fibers, Glass fibers or plastic fibers is reinforced. Through this reinforcement one can get a stiffness in Width direction, which is at least 1.5 times so is big as in the longitudinal direction.
- a stiffness in Width direction which is at least 1.5 times so is big as in the longitudinal direction.
- the blade carrier 6 Since the blade carrier 6 is formed of plastic, has he a comparatively low weight. this is a Influence, which causes the doctor blade with a comparatively low pressure on the roller 3 to Plant can be brought.
- the system pressure can be increased arbitrarily within certain limits. Important However, that is also very small investment pressures can achieve.
- Both pressure elements 9, 10 are arranged.
- the force application point Both pressure elements 9, 10 is substantially equidistant from axis 8.
- Each pressure element 9, 10 is formed as a hose, in a substantially U-shaped receptacle 11 on Blade holder is arranged.
- the hose When the hose is under Pressure is set, then he takes the shape of the inner contour the recording 11.
- the hose On its free side points the hose has a recess 12 into which a plunger 13 engages, which is attached to the blade carrier 6.
- the Plunger 13 can be formed for example by a bar be, extending over the entire length of the blade carrier 6 extends.
- the depth of the recess 12 is at least 30% of a Height h, the pressure element 9, 10 in an equilibrium state characterized defined thereby that the blade carrier 6 and the blade holder 7 in parallel aligned with each other. In the present embodiment even the depth of the dent 12 is greater than 50% of the height h.
- the depth of the indentation 12 and the corresponding thereto Extension of the plunger 13 can be relatively large be made.
- a border is formed by that the pivoting of the blade carrier 6 opposite the blade holder 7 should not be limited thereby that the plunger 13 abuts the blade holder 7.
- the extension of the plunger 13 in the direction of the Blade holder 7 is larger than the distance of the Axis 8 from the blade carrier 6. This leads to favorable Moments when pivoting the blade carrier opposite the blade holder.
- the doctor blade is positioned in the blade receptacle 5 that their projected extension 14 through the axis 8 runs. A slight deviation after above, i. on the blade carrier 6, is allowed. If the extension of the doctor blade 2 by the Axis 8 runs, then impurities can be on the surface of the roller 3 in the direction of the arrow. 4 be introduced, no moment on the blade carrier 6, which is opposite to a tilting of the blade carrier 6 could lead to the blade holder 7. If the Extension 14 runs slightly above axis 8, then the blade carrier 6 can counter something at best be pivoted clockwise, so that the Scraper blade 2 lifted off the surface of the roller 3 becomes. However, it may not happen that the blade holder 6 pivoted in the clockwise direction becomes. This would lead to the risk that the Scraper blade 2 digs into the surface of the roller 3.
- the blade holder 5 forms with the blade carrier. 6 a nip 15 in which the doctor blade 2 held becomes. In the nip is between the blade holder 5 and the blade carrier 6, a gap 16 is formed, whose thickness is at most twice the thickness s the doctor blade 2 is, i. e ⁇ 2 xs.
- the doctor blade 2 has a free blade width d in which she is not supported on any page. At this free blade width d is followed by a support area c, which is between the blade end of the Blade carrier 6 and the clamping point 15 is formed.
- a support area c which is between the blade end of the Blade carrier 6 and the clamping point 15 is formed.
- d For the ratio of the support of the doctor blades 3 applies d ⁇ 2.5 x c. This dimensioning gives a good Stiffness of the doctor blade 2 when pressing on the roller 3.
- the doctor blade 2 via a Supporting length f held in the blade holder 5. In order to prevent the scraper blade 2 when lifting off the roll 3 tilts too much or folds down, this is true Ratio f> 1 x c.
- Fig. 2 shows another way how to force between the blade carrier 6 and the blade holder. 7 can adjust. Same parts are the same Provided with reference numerals. The illustration is only schematically.
- each on Shafts 19, 20 are arranged and with the shafts 19, 20 in the direction of the arrows 21, 22 or opposite thereto can be pivoted.
- the shafts 19, 20 are from outside the blade carrier / blade holder assembly actuated. They can be spring loaded be so that between the blade carrier 6 and the blade holder 7 a certain bias results.
- Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment, in which the Pressure element between the blade carrier 6 and the blade holder 7 is formed by a flexurally elastic spring element 23, for example in the form of a pre-bent Leaf spring may be formed.
- the spring element 23 is mounted on a shaft 24 in the direction of an arrow 25 can be twisted. By twisting the shaft 24 can be the bias of the spring element 23 between the blade carrier 6 and the blade holder 7 set.
- a hinged blade receptacle 5 is shown.
- the blade holder is here at the blade carrier 6 movably mounted and about an axis 26 pivotally.
- a locking device shown only schematically 27 passes through the blade carrier 6 at least then when the blade holder 5 in its closed Position (shown in solid lines) has been pivoted.
- the locking device For example, by a bolt be formed, which is then from the top of the blade carrier 6 is provided with a mother.
- the locking device 27 can also be through a Pen formed by the blade carrier becomes.
- the pin can have an opening, through which a split pin is inserted. When the blade recording 5 is unfolded, then the replacement a scraper blade greatly relieved.
- the blade holder 7 is usually on a scraper bar attached, which in turn is usually pivotable is stored in the stand of the calender. Apart from this, that the scraper the scraper arrangement in the right one Holds position so that the scraper blade on the The scraping bar can rest against the scraping roller Also used to place the scraper blade in a replacement position to pivot.
- a first possible solution is for the Blade holder 7 and the scraper materials with im to use substantially the same thermal expansion.
- the blade carrier 7 and the scraper bar tempered, for example, with suitable Temperature control to the respective different Thermal expansion to counteract.
- a relatively simple measure is that one the blade carrier 6 relative to the blade holder 7 in essentially fixed in the middle of the longitudinal extent, the ends of the blade carrier but only via floating bearings attached to the blade holder. Under these circumstances The blade carrier can grow or shrink, without that stresses are generated in the system. additionally one can segment the blade holder 7 in the longitudinal direction, each segment having a limited longitudinal extent has and is firmly connected to the scraper bar. The blade carrier is then opposite one of the middle Fixed segments, compared to the other segments but held only with a floating bearing. Will be realized This can for example by the fact that the axis 8 towards the blade holder 7 in the longitudinal direction freely can expand. The segments of the blade holder 7 have in the longitudinal direction sufficient distance from each other, so that waxing or shrinking of the components does not allow Leads to tension.
