Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Übungsmunition mit einem Markierungsmittel.
Bei der Anwendung derartiger Übungsmunitionen, z.B. Übungsgeschossen und Übungsbomben, ist es wichtig, den Ort des Geschossaufschlags kenntlich zu machen, damit optimale Übungsergebnisse erreicht werden. Hierzu weist die Übungsmunition einen Kopf mit einer Kammer auf, in der ein Markierungsmittel, vorzugsweise ein rötliches Farbpulver, aufgenommen ist. Der Kopf ist aus einem Material gefertigt, das beim Aufschlag auf ein getroffenes Ziel birst, wodurch das Farbpulver aus der Kammer freigesetzt wird. Der Farbstoff streut in einem gewissen Radius um den Aufschlagpunkt und zeigt so den Treffpunkt optisch an. Das Farbpulver ist allerdings nur bei ausreichender Helligkeit, jedoch in der Dämmerung oder Nacht kaum oder ggf. nur mit starken Nachtsichtgeräten sichtbar.
Aus der US 5 018 450 ist ein Übungsgeschoß bekannt, bei dem das Markierungsmittel in einer berstbaren Haube am Kopf des Übungsgeschosses aufgenommen ist. Das Markierungsmittel weist in getrennten aufbrechbaren Abteilen aufgenommene chemische Komponenten auf, die beim Aufbrechen der Abteile beim Aufschlag des Übungsgeschosses miteinander vermischt werden und chemisch reagieren, wobei durch diese chemische Reaktion die optische Markierung abgegeben wird. Mit einem solchen Übungsgeschoß ist es möglich, dessen Aufschlag auch bei Nacht sichtbar werden zu lassen.
Aus der DE-AS 11 99 660 ist ein Übungsgeschoß bekannt, das aus einer Rohrwaffe abgeschossen wird und ebenfalls ein Markierungsmittel aufweist, das in mehreren getrennten aufbrechbaren Abteilen aufgenommene chemische Komponenten aufweist. Das Geschoß ist jeweils so ausgebildet, daß diese Abteile unmittelbar bei Austritt des Übungsgeschosses aus der Rohrwaffe aufplatzen, wobei zum einen das Übungsgeschoß zerlegt und zum anderen ein Rauchpilz unmittelbar an der Mündung der Rohrwaffe erzeugt wird, der weithin sichtbar ist. Hierdurch wird der Abschuß des Übungsgeschosses entsprechend einer scharfen Munition realistisch nachgebildet.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Übungsmunition der in Rede stehenden Art mit einem chemisch reagierenden Markierungsmittel weiter zu verbessern und es zu ermöglichen, gegebenenfalls auch die Flugbahn der Übungsmunition zu beobachten. Diese Aufgabe ist gemäß der Erfindung durch die Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst.
Demgemäß werden die die chemischen Komponenten aufnehmenden Abteile in an sich bekannter Weise bereits während der Anfangsbeschleunigung und/oder Drallbeschleunigung des Übungsgeschosses aufgebrochen. Die einzelnen Abteile sind jedoch in einer am Kopf des Übungsgeschosses gelegenen Haube aus einem optisch durchsichtigen Material aufgenommen, die beim Aufschlag auf ein Ziel birst und dadurch das Markierungsmittel freigibt und den Aufschlagort sichtbar macht. Gleichzeitig kann jedoch durch die optisch durchsichtige Haube die Markierung, z.B. die heuchterscheinung von Chemoluminiszenz der chemisch miteinander reagierenden Komponenten, über die gesamte Flugbahn des Übungsgeschosses wahrgenommen werden. Die chemischen Komponenten sind hierbei so ausgewählt, daß bei der Reaktion länger dauernde Leuchterscheinungen ausgelöst werden, so daß die Flugbahn der Übungsmunition über den gesamten Flugweg optisch verfolgt werden kann und zusätzlich der Auftreffort markiert wird.
Durch entsprechende Auswahl der miteinander chemisch reagierenden Komponenten können die Dauer der Reaktion, die Frequenz des abgestrahlten Lichtes und die Helligkeit in weiten Bereichen eingestellt werden. Durch die Reaktion werden bevorzugt länger dauernde Leuchterscheinungen ausgelöst, so daß die Flugbahn der Übungsmunition optisch verfolgt werden kann und der Auftreffort markiert wird.
Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung werden bevorzugt Ausgangsstoffe verwendet, die bei der chemischen Reaktion ein Leuchten im sichtbaren oder Infra-Rot-Bereich aussenden. Bei Leuchterscheinungen im Infra-Rot-Bereich kann die Markierung mit Nachtsichtgeräten beobachtet werden.
Aus der CH 381 565 ist zwar ein Übungsgeschoß mit einer beim Aufschlag berstenden, optisch durchsichtigen Haube am Kopf des Geschlosses bekannt, in der ein Markierungsmittel, z.B. ein Farbpulver aufgenommen ist. Die optisch durchsichtige Haube dient jedoch nur dazu, die Farbe des Farbpulvers zu erkennen und damit unterschiedliche Geschoßarten, z.B. ein Übungsgeschoß und ein scharfes Geschoß voneinander unterscheiden zu können. Eine Verfolgung der Flugbahn des Geschosses ist mit einer solchen Konstruktion nicht möglich.
Die Erfindung ist in einem Ausführungsbeispiel anhand der zeichnung näher erläutert. In dieser stellen dar:
  • Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch eine Übungsmunition in Form einer Übungspatrone aus einem Übungsgeschoß gemäß der Erfindung und einer dieses aufnehmenden Patronenhülse;
  • Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch ein Übungsgeschoß gemäß einer weiteren Ausbildung der Erfindung.
  • In Figur 1 ist ein Übungsgeschoß 1 dargestellt, das in einer Patronenhülse 2 aufgenommen ist. Der Kopf des Übungsgeschosses 1 weist eine Haube 3 auf, die aus durchsichtigem Material, wie z.B. Kunststoff, besteht und die ein erstes Abteil 4 und ein zweites Abteil 5 abdeckt. Die beiden Abteile sind schichtweise übereinander angeordnet und durch eine Trennwand 6 von einander getrennt. Das erste Abteil ist mit einer ersten chemischen Komponente 7, z.B. einem Oxidationsmittel, und das zweite Abteil mit einer zweiten chemischen Komponente 8, z.B. einem Reduktionsmittel, gefüllt.
    wird die Trennwand z.B. durch die Kraft der Beschleunigung beim Abfeuern zerbrochen, entsteht durch die chemische Reaktion der beiden chemischen Komponenten eine Leuchterscheinung durch Chemilumineszenz, die durch die durchsichtige Haube während der Flugphase sichtbar ist. Beim Aufschlag auf den Zielort birst die Haube und die Endprodukte der Reaktion werden in näherer Umgebung um den Aufschlagpunkt gestreut, wodurch dieser durch das Leuchten optisch markiert wird und auch aus weiter Entfernung sichtbar ist.
    Figur 2 stellt ein Übungsgeschoß 1 gemäß der Erfindung dar, in dessen Kopf mit seiner durchsichtigen Haube 3 ein erstes Abteil 4 mit einer ersten chemischen Komponente 7 und ein zweites Abteil 5 mit einer zweiten chemischen Komponente 8 in Längsrichtung nebeneinander angeordnet sind. Die beiden Abteile sind durch eine Trennwand 6 in Längsrichtung des Geschosses getrennt, die z.B. durch die Zentrifugalkraft des Dralls eines drallstabilisierten Übungsgeschosses zerbrochen wird und die chemische Reaktion ermöglicht, die das Markierungsmittel darstellt.
    In beiden Fällen können die Trennwände mit nicht dargestellten Sollbruchstellen versehen sein.

    Claims (4)

    1. Übungsmunition mit einem Kopf, der beim Aufschlag der Übungspatrone auf ein Ziel birst und in dem ein nach dem Bersten des Kopfes den Aufschlag optisch anzeigendes Markierungsmittel aufgenommen ist, wobei das Markierungsmittel in einer berstbaren Haube (3) am Kopf des Übungsgeschosses aufgenommen ist und mehrere, jeweils in getrennten aufbrechbaren Abteilen aufgenommene chemische Komponenten aufweist, die beim Aufbrechen der Abteile miteinander vermischt werden und miteinander chemisch reagieren, wobei durch die Reaktion die optische Markierung abgegeben wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abteile (4, 5) durch die Anfangsbeschleunigung und/oder bei Verwendung eines drallstabilisierten Übungsgeschosses (1) durch die Zentrifugalkräfte aufbrechbar sind und daß die Haube (3) zur Verfolgung der Flugbahn der Übungsmunition (1) aus einem optisch durchsichtigen Material besteht.
    2. Übungsmunition nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die optische Markierung im IR-Bereich sichtbar ist.
    3. Übungsmunition nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die optische Markierung im sichtbaren und IR-Bereich strahlt.
    4. Übungsmunition nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abteile (4, 5) durch Wande voneinander getrennt sind, und dass die Wände Sollbruchstellen (11) aufweisen.
