Definitions
- the invention relates to a system for monitoring access to buildings according to the preamble of claim 1.
- buildings of all types - from Residential house to the cable duct - are such Access surveillance systems required to ensure the security of the To guarantee residents or the facility as far as possible.
- Mechanical and electrical devices are mainly used, the former can only insufficiently fulfill the monitoring function.
- Electrical devices such as electrical contacts, Motion detectors, light barriers or camera surveillance are required a power supply, particularly in the case of cable ducts or from a Surveillance center not very distant surveillance objects is available.
- the invention is based on the object Access monitoring system of the type described above to indicate which does not require electrical energy and a Remote monitoring allowed over long distances.
- the task is with the characterizing features of claim 1 solved.
- optical fibers can be used as a transmission medium for monitoring functions even at very long distances of over 100 kilometers.
- cable systems there are the existing cable ducts. Because ever larger data streams over optical cables are transported are the operators of the cable systems keen to gain access in the shaft structures of their Monitor cable systems to prevent erroneous interference in the cable network or even prevent sabotage attacks.
- the operator of the Cable duct system can be opened using a suitable monitoring system of a manhole cover immediately recognize and appropriate measures for Take damage minimization. Such a measure could be in it exist, the data streams when opening an unauthorized To redirect the manhole cover immediately to alternative routes in order to To prevent data loss.
- the claimed access monitoring system not only serves to secure the cable duct system against unauthorized access, but also to increase the reliability of the overall system.
- the attenuation of the optical fiber on the corresponding coupling point as an indicator for the opening of the Closing device used.
- the type of mechanical coupling between the optical fiber and the locking device is preferred hit such that there is an increase in damping when opening results.
- This increase in damping can be done with the help of a suitable Monitoring system to trigger an alarm in one Monitoring center can be used. Because monitoring systems in the Are able to also determine the position of the damping increase the open shaft is determined in the shortest possible time using site plans and be localized.
- Claim 3 characterizes an advantageous embodiment of the coupling between optical fiber and locking device, the Optical fiber when turning a locking cylinder sleeve Locking device rotated and ultimately pulled in such a way that the Attenuation of the optical fiber at the coupling point increased.
- Influencing the fiber damping when opening the shaft can precisely defined according to claim 4 by means of an attenuator become. Also in this embodiment, a rotatable sleeve Locking device used to trigger the change in damping be, as is apparent from claim 5.
- the optical properties of the Optical fiber by one acted upon by the locking device optical switches are changeable.
- Such a switch interrupts the Transmission path at the moment the closing device is opened.
- the thus generated signal is in the receiving station in a simple manner and can be evaluated very clearly.
- the monitoring of the Plant parts behind the switch no longer exist or only from the other side of the track through optical Reflection measurement possible.
- a second split of the Transmission path then necessarily leads to the decoupling of one Section of the surveillance.
- the optical waveguide as a fiber optic cable, that means with a sheath for kink protection and Rodent protection trained.
- Figure 1 shows a locking system of a common design with an integrated waveguides
- FIG. 1a Figures 1a and 1b, the principle of operation of access monitoring with the locking device according to FIG. 1.
- Figure 1 illustrates the principle of operation of a conventional one Locking device 1 of a manhole cover 2, which gives access to a Cable duct system 3 designed.
- the locking device 1 comprises one Lock cylinder 4 with a rotatable sleeve 5.
- the sleeve 5 by means of a socket wrench by about 90 Degrees rotated.
- At the free end of the sleeve 5 there is an optical waveguide 6 rotatably attached.
- Optical fiber 6 by two fixed to the sleeve 5 bolts 7a and 7b bent around, resulting in an optical attenuation increase in the fiber results.
- the increase in damping is used as an indicator of Manhole cover unlocking detected in a monitoring center.
- the monitoring center is located at the end of the optical waveguide 6, where many manhole covers 2 are connected to an optical fiber 6 can and the distances to be bridged are over 100 km can.
- FIGS. 1a and 1b illustrate the position of the optical waveguide 6 closed manhole cover 2 ( Figure 1a) and unlocked manhole cover 2 ( Figure 1b). It can be seen that when turning the sleeve 5 in the Optical fiber 6 fiber distortion occurs, which the Damping property of the optical fiber 6 changed.
- the invention is not limited to the above Embodiment. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable which, even if the execution is fundamentally different, from the Make use of features of the invention. In particular limited the invention does not view the application for access monitoring of cable duct systems 3.
