Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a stringer frame for an equipped weaving machine of a smooth damper device, this frame comprising an upper profile provided with an upper smooth door rod, a lower profile with a door rod lower rails, two lateral uprights assembled to said sections to form said frame and weaving rails mounted on said smooth door rods by their ends in the form of a loop, the damping device being mounted on least one of the profiles of the frame and positioned in a gap between said profile and the door rod smooth in such a way as to damp the head of the loops of smooth.
  • the invention also relates to a smooth damper device for equip a smooth frame.
  • the ends of the weaving rails have a loop shape and are mounted on the smooth door rods with an imposed operating clearance of about 3 mm.
  • This gambling is necessary for several reasons.
  • the introduction of the warp threads in the eyelet of the weaving smooth is usually performed automatically by a Adequate tucking machine, this game allows the rails to line up automatically. Once threaded, the weaving rails must be able to slide freely along the smooth door rods to allow the weaver to intervene in the chain son ply, for example to repair a wire after breaking.
  • This game is also necessary to avoid any risk of blockage of the rails compared to smooth door rods taking into account manufacturing tolerances and the effects of expansion.
  • the very strong excitement of vibratory frames requires the presence of this operating set without which the ends of the rails of weaving would break very quickly.
  • the hoop frames evolve as a mass structure variable with the effect of chain tension and the effect of inertia, sometimes the smooth is in support on the upper rod, sometimes it is supported on the lower rod, sometimes it is free between the two support positions.
  • the frame cycles complete back and forth, there are shocks and rebounds at the loops of smooth. With the speeds reached today, these very strong shocks cause a premature wear of smooth door rods and inadvertent breakage of smooth.
  • the solution proposed in the publication JP-A-10 001844 provides a mounted device between one of the profiles of the stringer frame and the stringer heads in the form of a brush. This device makes it possible to limit the lateral displacement of the rails, but no case of damping the movement in vertical translation of the rails.
  • Publication WO-A-01/48284 also proposes a solution relating directly a damping element on the profiles of the stringer frame, these sections being commonly made of spun or extruded aluminum alloy.
  • This solution can not only with profiles made of a metallic material which a manageable and acceptable straightness to guarantee a functioning game between the smoothing heads and the constant damping element along the entire length of the frame.
  • this solution is not at all suitable for smooth frame profiles. made of composite materials (carbon fiber or other) whose straightness is much less good.
  • the operating clearance between the smoothing heads and the damping element can not be constant over the entire length of the frame, the arrow of a section made of composite materials that can reach, for example, 4 mm 3 m in length.
  • this solution does not allow to make a game adjustment between the damping element and the smoothing heads, in particular to lock the rails in normal operation of the loom.
  • the object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks by proposing a shock absorber device simple, easy and quick to set up, respecting the game of weaving machines, in no way affecting their freedom to movement on the smooth door rods, which can be mounted as a kit on frames of smooth already existing and particularly suitable for smooth frames made of materials composites.
  • a stringer frame as defined in the preamble and characterized in that that the damping device comprises a support profile extending over the entire length of said section of the stringer frame and comprising at least one flexible element extending over the entire length of the support profile and forming a bumper disposed look at said head of the loops and in that the damping device is arranged to provide a clearance J 'between the damping device and the head of the loops of smooth lower than the operating clearance J between the rails and the smooth door rods.
  • the damping device may comprise means of adjusting said clearance J ', these adjustment means possibly comprising at least one profile intermediate mounted in said support profile, an adjusting member being arranged between them and mobile between at least one position called “with game” and a position called “Without play”.
  • the support profile or the intermediate section preferably comprises a groove longitudinal arrangement arranged to receive by interlocking said flexible element, which can be interchangeable.

With this configuration, the damping device 20 does not hinder not the freedom of the weaving loom 8 in static mode, which remains mobile along the 3 and 5. It is only in dynamic mode that the damping device 20 is used and fully fulfills its role by limiting the operating clearance J of the stringer 8 to the game I and by damping the head of the loop of smooth 9 if the deflection of the smooth is greater than 1mm.
  • the damping device 20 comprises a profile support 21 of small section and extending over the entire length of the upper profile 2 of the stringer frame 1. It is, for example, made of extruded aluminum or in any other equivalent material. It has an approximately square section and such dimensions to be housed in the interval 14. It has in its lower edge a longitudinal groove 22 for receiving a flexible element 23 forming a bumper, made, for example, in a polymer, an elastomer, a composite material or any other equivalent material chosen to withstand vibrational frequencies and to the efforts to bear.
  • This stop 23 may have an inverted T-section, the leg T being housed in the longitudinal groove 22 by interlocking and the bar of the T being curved for example to marry approximately the rounded top of the loop of smooth 9.

  • the support profile 21 is an integral part of the profile superior 2 and remains at home.
  • the bumper 23 can easily be put in place and removed groove 22 when it needs to be changed, without any difficulty.
  • FIG. 3 illustrates another embodiment of FIG. upper section 2 with its rectangular section 12 and its rear wall 13.
  • the rod 3'a smooth door in this variant, a form of G in which lodges a loop 9 'inverted G-shaped smooth, commonly called "extra smooth loop".
  • the damping device 20 is similar to the previous one. The only difference lies in the shape of the stopper 24, which has, in this variant, a circular section.
  • the clips of positioning 30 are of course adapted to this embodiment variant, in particular the housing 32 with respect to the smooth door rod 3 '.
  • Figures 4 and 5 illustrate two other embodiments of the device damper 20 in which the stopper 25, 26 has an inverted T-section, the branch T being respectively straight and conical.

  • This support section 210 is completed by an intermediate profile 220 which comprises a longitudinal groove 22 for receiving a flexible element 24 forming a stopper.
  • This bumper 24 has a circular section but may also have a section compliant stoppers 23, 25 or 26 described with reference to FIGS. 2, 4 and 5.
  • This intermediate profile 220 comprises an inverted L-shaped rib 221, this rib being housed in an inverted G-shaped rail 211 formed in the profile support 210.
  • a flexible cord 222 for example made of elastomer, is inserted between the bottom of the rail 211 and the rib 221 and an adjusting member 223 is positioned between the the branches of the L and G respectively of the rib 221 and the rail 211.
  • This organ 223 has an elliptical shape and is coupled to a control member (not shown) which allows to move it between two stable positions: a position so-called "with play” and a position called "without play".
  • the control member can be Manual and powered by the weaver or automatic and related to the operating mode of the loom.
  • the largest diameter of the regulating member 223 is oriented vertically, which goes up the intermediate profile 220 inside the support profile 210 and a household play J ' between the stopper 24 and the heads of the loop loops 9 '.
  • This position is particularly suitable for easily and quickly smooth 8 and the retraction son son by a machine tuck automatic.
  • the largest diameter of the regulating member 223 is oriented horizontally, which drops the intermediate profile 220 outside the support profile 210 and removes the game J ' between the stopper 24 and the heads of the loop loops 9 '.
  • This position is particularly suitable during normal operation of the loom.
  • the 9 'upper loop loops heads are thus blocked in vertical translation which makes it possible to reduce even more effectively the breaks of the loops of noise caused by vibrations.
  • the game J is kept between the smooth loops 9, 9 'and the smooth door rod 5 lower, which allows the weaver to intervene between the rails if necessary, the rails being able to pivot around their upper fixed point.
  • the damping device 20, 20 ', 200 is simple, easy to perform and to mount, economical, reliable and efficiently solve problems wear and premature breakage of smooth loops, wear of smooth door rods, by also reducing the sound level of the weaving machines.
  • the smooth frames remain fully compatible with automatic tying machines chain and with the requirements of the weavers concerning the mobility of the healds.
  • Another advantage lies in the design of the damping device 20, 20 ', 200 by a support profile 21, 21 ', 210 attached to the or sections 2, 4 of the frame of smooth 1 and not directly integrated with these profiles.
  • This original construction allows to make the damping device 20, 20 ', 200 completely compatible with smooth frames made of composite materials for example based on carbon, fiberglass or other fibers.
  • the support profile 21, 21 'being made of a spun or extruded metal material has a straightness perfectly controlled which makes it possible to compensate for the lack of straightness of the sections 2, 4 of the smooth frame 1 encountered with the technical materials.
  • Figures 11 and 12 show schematically a section 2, 4 of smooth frame 1 respectively made of metallic materials and composite materials.
  • the profile 2, 4 extruded or spun, for example in an aluminum alloy has a perfect linearity to a few tenths. It is found that the gap 14 existing between the section 12 of the section 2, 4 and the rod smooth door 3, 3 ', 5 is constant over the entire length of the profile 2, 4 ranging from 1m to 4m.
  • extruded or extruded profile 2, 4 made of composite materials presents a lack of linearity voluntarily represented in an exaggerated manner.
  • the interval 14 is variable over the entire length of the profile 2, 4 and the door rod 3, 3 ', 5 made by rolling a metal material makes it possible to ensure this indispensable linearity for the rails 8. It is important to remember that the function essential sections 2, 4 of a smooth frame 1 is to bring the mechanical strength to the bending of the smooth door rod 3, 3 ', 5 while lightening the mass of the frame and increasing its resistance to mechanical fatigue. That's why Smooth frames made of composite materials make it possible to fulfill this function in a very efficient and optimal way.
