Abstract

Das Rohr (20) mit einer Brandüberwachungsvorrichtung ist versehen mit einer kontinuierlichen Detektoranordnung, die sich im wesentlichen in Längsrichtung des Rohres (20) erstreckt, wobei die Detektoranordnung eine Mehrzahl von metallischen Leitern (10,12;14,16) aufweist. Wenigstens einer der metallischen Leiter weist eine Isolierschicht auf, die unter Einfluss der bei einem Brand entstehenden Wärme schmilzt. Die Berührung der Leiter ist bei geschmolzener Isolierschicht zur Erzeugung eines einen Brand anzeigenden Signals ausnutzbar.
