Definitions
- the invention relates to a receiving feed for optical components for Fine grinding and / or polishing with several support elements elastic material for the components and an arrangement for Supply or discharge of air opposite the back of the Support element, wherein the receiving chuck with a base body a spindle shaft with a central bore and one Cover part for receiving the support elements.
- Spherical or convex are preferably used as optical components concave curved lenses are provided.
- a feed of this type for single lens processing is from DE 198 12 186 A1 known.
- the lens holder consists of one rotationally symmetrical body with a recess into which one lens to be processed is inserted and to the other side a rubber membrane is complete. Above a central hole in the shaft of the intake chuck the rubber membrane can be attached to it Compressed air is applied to the rear. If the Then the rubber membrane expands, it lies on the lens and presses it evenly against the polishing tool. Here comes there is a flat contact since both parts are the same Have radius of curvature. By creating a vacuum on the Membrane surface, the lens can be sucked onto the membrane surface and in put a hanging position.
- the lens Due to the weight of the lens, it can be different System pressures come through the membrane surface. Because when polishing not only the surface quality is improved, but also Corrections in the lens geometry made in the fine area different plant pressure leads to inaccuracies in the lens surface.
- the hanging is therefore preferred Recording the lens chosen so that its own weight the system pressure to the polishing tool after the membrane for the Polishing process was ventilated. When the picture is lying down, the Uniformity of the system pressure e.g. due to different thicknesses supported in the membrane. The centrally fed The amount of compressed air can be individually adapted to the lens to be processed become.
- EP 0 169 931 A1 Intake feed known with the support zones in the membrane surface different system pressure by the supply different regulated air pressure can be generated.
- feed is also an embodiment for described simultaneous recording of several lenses.
- Such a feed has a basic and one with it connected support body.
- the support body is provided with a cap-shaped coating, which by a Surrounding ring is held on the base body. Symmetrical to There are several axes of rotation of the support body in this Includes wells. In the area of these wells the cap-shaped covering an elastic membrane on which the to processing lenses with their central area. The Inclusion of the lens as a whole is made by a molding in the cap-shaped coating formed that the lens diameter is adjusted.
- the base body has a shaft for holding the Intake chuck in a processing machine.
- the body contains a central breakthrough for the shaft Air supply.
- Each of the recesses in the support body will through a separate air duct with the central opening in the Basic body connected, the respective membrane portions of the Coating are fixed in the recess and seal them airtight.
- Via a duct inside which is separate from the other air ducts of the central breakthrough and through the support body the remaining lower surface of the coating can be passed through with compressed air be charged. This way, everyone can Support areas with different pressure can be created.
- the coating is complex in shape and requires an elaborate process Mounting on the support body. While in the Membrane parts the air supply can also be regulated individually the local pressure build-up under the remaining area of the coating over the central air supply cannot be influenced.
- Each insert has a flat surface Support membrane on which is held in the insert by a cylindrical ring element is.
- a small cavity is arranged under each support membrane Diameter is adapted to the inside diameter of the ring element.
- Over a Bore in the spindle shaft of the chuck can be in a central distribution line a liquid is passed through the cavity under separate feed lines each support membrane fills and one on the back of the support membrane exerts adjustable pressure.
- the calotte contains several recesses, in which the essential ones Functional elements adjustable blade supports made of metal are used.
- the calotte is designed as a hemispherical shell, which is closed with a base plate. From the recesses leads a hole in the interior of the calotte. Is on the bottom plate centrally attached a hollow shaft, which also has a hole with is connected to the dome interior.
- the hollow shaft is on one Vacuum line connected so that on the cutting edge supports, placed lenses are held by the negative pressure.
- the device is used to pre-adjust the calotte on the blade supports Lentils in the putty bed of a concave grinding or polishing cap position-oriented.
- the invention has for its object to a feed create a multiple exposure with the advantages of a single exposure allowed by using series membrane elements and is structurally simple.
- Lens diameter and lens weights can be adjusted.
- the Cover parts are screwed to the base body and form an O-ring seal securely closes the air reservoir.
- the Lid parts can be quickly replaced in this way.
- the recesses in the cover part can be used for commercially available elastic Support elements with different dimensions can be prepared.
- the fastening and sealing by means of a pressed into a groove O-ring allows easy assembly and also acts as a Overpressure protection. Should unintended air pressure on the Membrane arrive without a lens and a Polishing tool is brought up to the lens, then that Support element pushed out of the holder without being destroyed.
- the support elements in a cylindrical holder which in the Recess of the cover part is rotatably supported, can additional relative movement of the individual lenses on the common feed can be realized.
- the holder can be provided with a drive axle that fits into the Pot space of the base body extends and here geared with the Drive for the spindle shaft is connected.
- the base body 1 contains a base body 1 with a Spindle shaft 2, in a machine spindle not shown is used to rotate the feed chuck.
- the spindle shaft 2 is provided with a central bore 3, which also with a not shown compressor vacuum system for air supply connected is.
- the base body 1 has a peripheral edge 4, through which a pot-shaped space 5 is formed in the base body 1 extends over the entire bottom surface of the base body 1.
- a cover part 6 On the edge 4 of the base body 1 is a cover part 6, which with the Screwed base body 1 and 7 via an O-ring seal Seals pot space 5.
- the cover part 6 has a cylindrical shape Recess 8 on.
- a Rubber-elastic support element On the bottom of the recess 8 is a Rubber-elastic support element, which here as a hat-shaped membrane part 9 is formed with the hat edge 10 facing outwards.
- Such Membrane parts 9 are as series parts for single lens exposures available.
- the hat rim 10 engages in a groove 11 in the recess 8 one and is fixed here by an O-ring 12 to the bottom of the Recess 8 pressed.
- the one under the membrane part 9 Space area of the recess 8 is through a bore 13 with the Pot bottom 5 connected in terms of flow.
- the lens surface to be processed is light here concave.
- the top 15 of the cover part 6 is in the usual way a slightly larger radius to the concave lens surface adapted so that the schematically indicated polishing cap 16 the Can edit lens surface unhindered.
- the im Pot space 5 built air reservoir and the bore 13 an overpressure generated in the space under the membrane part 9, which the membrane part 9th elastically deformed until it is on the convex surface of the lens 14 fits positively.
- Symmetrical to the axis 17 of the spindle shaft 2 are in the cover part 6 further recesses 8 with inserted in the same way Membrane parts 9 are provided. Preferably three at the same time Lenses 14 processed.
- the embodiment shown in Figure 2 is based on the same Basic construction as in Fig.1.
- the same parts are with the same Provide reference numerals.
- the cylindrical recess 8 is here however, designed as a cylinder bore 18 into which a cylindrical holder 19 is used, the same holding elements for the membrane part 9 has as in Fig.1.
- the holder 19 has a drive shaft 20 provided with a bore 13 for fluid connection is provided with the pot space 5 and extends into the pot space 5.
- the drive shaft 20 is in the bottom of the cylinder bore 18 by a Pivot bearing 21 held so that the holder 19 about its axis 22nd is rotatable.
- the drive axle 20 is not shown with gear means 23 provided e.g. with the drive for the Spindle shaft 2 are coupled.
- a convex lens surface is provided for processing here, so that the upper side 15 of the cover part 6 is shaped correspondingly convex.
- the axis 22 is in this case to the axis 17 of the spindle shaft 2 inclined.
- the Axis 22 can be seen directed away from axis 17.
- the different direction of the axes of rotation compared to the central Drive means can be formed by appropriately shaped bevel gears 24 Part of the gear resources 23 are balanced, which are not themselves Are part of the invention.
